It’s officially summer, which means the start of our weekend backyard BBQ marathons. During the late summer until winter, we host Football Sundays. When football is over and summer starts, we turn into BBQ central. Of course, that means making sure we have everything we need to feed the neighborhood. Instead of writing a list each week, I decided I would put together a printable backyard BBQ shopping list. And since I was doing that, I figured I would share with you too.
What you can actually do with this barbecue shopping list is print is out and then laminate it. You can use a dry erase marker to go through it while you’re at home so you know what you already have. Then, pack it in your purse when you head to the grocery store. Pull it out and pick up the rest of what you need.
Now, we buy the meats in bulk and keep them in the freezer. That saves us a couple bucks and then we don’t have to go shopping every week. I tried this with the buns too, but they would get crushed in the freezer, so that never worked for me.
And, of course, I always have to have cake mix handy in case all of our guests come without dessert. I can whip something up quick and seem prepared.
