It’s Football Season, which, according to Pete, is the most wonderful time of the year. Each week, we open up our garage to host Sunday Funday. We project the games in our garage-turned-home theater, and make a ton of snacks. One of my favorite snacks is this Loaded Beef Nachos recipe.

The way I make them is basically a deconstructed taco. It’s super easy, really tasty, and feeds a crowd. And those are the type of homegating snacks you need. Sure, for the big game I make a football-shaped bread bowl and all sorts of snacks. But for a typical Football Sunday, I try to keep it simple.

Loaded Beef Nachos Ingredients:

How To Make Loaded Beef Nachos:

Cook the ground beef on the stove. I usually get a lean beef (like 94%) so I don’t have to drain it. If you get a fattier meat, brown it and then drain it.

Add the taco seasoning and remove the beef from the heat.

Fill the bottom of a plate or tray with nacho chips.

Top with the cheese

Add the warm meat on top of the cheese (so it starts to melt).

Cut the spinach into small slices and top the meat.

Cut the grape tomatoes into halves or quarters and place them on top.

If you want, you can add a dollop of sour cream and/or refried beans as well.

Serve warm.
