If you’re looking for a punny card, this DIY You Have A Pizza My Heart Valentine’s Day Card is it. It’s inspired by Sticker & Co.’s You Have A Pizza My Heart Sticker.

My brother’s wife mentioned that my 4-year-old nephew is super into hearts and Valentine’s Day this year. So, of course I said we would definitely be sending him a card this year.
But, if you know me, you know I can’t just go to the store and buy a Valentine’s Day card. Oh no. Not me. I had to go and make him a custom card because homemade Valentine’s Day cards are the best. It’s the little things that add up to the best memories, right?
Originally I thought about cutting a large heart and adding arms and writing “I love you this much.” And I very well might also do that. But, I was looking through Sticker & Co.’s Valentine’s Day stickers and saw the “You Have A Pizza My Heart” sticker. And my brother’s family has pizza every Friday. So I thought that the sticker would be the perfect inspiration to make a punny Valentine’s Day card.
Even though my nephew is, as I mentioned, 4. And will absolutely not get the pun.
He will, however, appreciate that the pepperoni on the pizza slice is actually heart-shaped, so, there’s that.

DIY You Have A Pizza My Heart Valentine’s Day Card Supplies:
- Free ” You Have A Pizza My Heart” printable (see below)
- White paper (printer paper or card stock)
- Scissors
- Brown card stock
- Yellow card stock
- Glue
- Red card stock
- Gray card stock
How To Make A You Have A Pizza My Heart Valentine’s Day Card:
Print the Free ” You Have A Pizza My Heart” printable (more on that below) on white paper. Cut out the circle portion using the scissors. Set it aside.
Side note: The circle is 2-inches. So, if you have a 2-inch circle punch, a better way to cut a circle is using that instead of scissors. That would make it go quicker if you’re making a lot of these cards and ensure it’s a perfect circle.

Fold a sheet of printer paper in half. Cut a pizza shape out of it. That’s will be the template for your pizza slice. Ours was about five inches from tip to crust, if you want to look as similar to ours as possible.

Use your template to cut out a pizza shape form the brown card stock and the yellow card stock.

Cut a piece off the top of the yellow card stock.

Glue the yellow card stock to the brown card stock.

Cut hearts out of the red card stock. Glue the hearts down to the cheese of the pizza.

To make the card feel a little more interesting, let the pepperoni hearts fall off the pizza and/or touch the crust.

Cut the white or gray card stock in half. Using a paper trimmer for this makes it so much easier than trying to eyeball it.
Glue the pizza slice to the top portion of the card stock.
Glue the circle portion of the ” You Have A Pizza My Heart” printable to the bottom half of the card.

This makes a flat card. If you wanted to make a folded card, just fold the white or gray card stock in half rather than cutting it in half. That way, you can open it and write a sweet note to your Valentine inside.
If you want to be a little extra, you could actually tape this card to a pizza box and give that to your Valentine as a gift. In fact, there are a bunch of restaurants that sell heart-shaped pizzas for Valentine’s Day. You can find them all in our Where To Buy Heart-Shaped Food For Valentine’s Day post.
Free ” You Have A Pizza My Heart” printable
I designed this Free ” You Have A Pizza My Heart” printable specifically for this card. Because of that, it’s designed for an 8.5- x 11-inch sheet of printer paper so it can easily be printed at home.
You can download the pdf file via the “download” button below. Save it to your computer, then print it whenever you’re ready to make your card.
It’s made with a red circle border and the word “pizza” in red. If you’d rather print it in black and white to save ink, remember to change your printer settings from full color to black and white. You will want to print this on “high” rather than “draft” or the letters will come out wonky.
To save on paper, you can print this out, then use the blank side of the paper to make the pizza slice template in the tutorial instead of using a second piece of white paper.
It should go without saying, but just in case: This digital file should be used for your personal use only. Please don’t use it for commercial purposes.

You Have A Pizza My Heart Sticker:
If you love the pun of this, but you want to do a little less DIY, you can purchase the You Have A Pizza My Heart Sticker, which inspired this card, from Sticker & Co.
Instead of using our free printable, you can simply affix the sticker into the upper right corner of the card instead. And, if you’re trying to come up with super easy classroom Valentine’s Day cards, you can just purchase a sticker for each classmate. Affix it to a piece of card stock or just give it to the class as is and let them stick it in their sticker book.
If pizza’s not your thing, Sticker & Co has a bunch of other Valentine’s Day stickers. There are ones that say I Love You (in words and in sign language), You Are My Everything (with a graphic of an everything bagel), a dachshund with the words “You Are One Hot Dog”, and more.
And, if you’re not into crafting anything right now (I get it; people are busy), you can actually purchase a sticker greeting card set at Sticker & Co. There a few different sticker card options. You can add your own images and text, which is fun.
