Giveaway: $30 Frecklebox Gift Card (Ends 4/21)

frecklebox-review-1I’m not often blown away by products, but I’m so impressed by the quality of the items we received for review from Frecklebox.

Frecklebox, if you don’t know, creates personalized gifts for kids. We received a $40 gift card and were able to make two coloring books (which came with crayons) and two puzzles with it. Pete has two young nephews so we had to get matching sets.

We actually really got them to match too. Frecklebox has a ton of different patterns — from animals to construction. Not each item comes in every pattern so if you need the items to be coordinated, you really have to sit down and figure it out.

And, speaking of items, Frecklebox has a ton of items. There are personalized stickers for kids, lunchboxes, and more.

I was so impressed when I opened our package. The colors on the puzzles were so vibrant. I just knew they would grab Pete’s nephew’s attention. There are 20 large pieces in each puzzle, which is great for little kids. It’s a lot easier for them to put together.

We loved the coloring books too. You can actually preview the coloring books beforehand. They’re not all the same, so you’re definitely going to want to do that. We got a more advanced one (the pirate book) for Pete’s older nephew, since he’s old enough to attempt mazes, and we got one that is just coloring pages (the superhero book) for his younger nephew. I loved that the pirate book substituted his nephew’s name throughout the entire book. The superhero book didn’t do that and I was a little disappointed. His name was on every page, but not exactly in the story like the other book. That was my fault for not noticing, though, not Frecklebox’s fault.
