Have You Seen This: Moen Boardwalk Bathroom Faucet

Have You Seen This: Moen Boardwalk Bathroom Faucet

This post brought to you by Moen, Incorporated. All opinions are 100% mine.

Something happened to our bathroom faucet over the last year. I'm not sure what, exactly, but somehow it has damage. The top of it is getting these bubbles that look like they will burst any day now. And when they do, it appears that the silver coating will peel.

I'm not so sure that is covered in our security deposit.

If you're renters like us, and this happens, you're pretty much at the mercy of the complex. If you're a homeowner and this happens, you can always change your faucet out to something like tthe Moen Boardwalk Spot Resist bath faucet. The faucet, which you can purchase at Lowe's, is spot resistant fingerprint resistant, and WaterSense compliant.

Have you seen them on your home improvement shopping trips?

The faucets actually look great, in my option. They're very modern looking, but they're not trendy, which makes them timeless. You can purchase these to match your bathroom style now and in years from now, when you redo your bathroom, it will still match. Our bathroom has a zen/bamboo feel to it (similar to the feeling of the photo above) and this would definitely work for us — if, ya know, we weren't in a complex and we were able to change out our hardware.

Target: St. Patrick’s Day Clearance

Target: St. Patrick’s Day Clearance

st patricks dayI traveled to New York the day before St. Patrick’s Day and spent the actual holiday in a casino in Connecticut.

So in my mind, it’s really like the holiday never happened.

Judging from the supply of St. Patty’s Day socks at Maria’s Target, well, it may never have happened.

She snapped this photo to let us know that St. Patrick’s Day items are 30% off at Target.

Have you seen St. Pat’s clearance anywhere else?

JCPenney: $10 off $25 (March 25 To 31)

JCPenney: $10 off $25 (March 25 To 31)

Big thanks to Maria for writing this post to help while I’m getting back from vacation. I wanted to remind you about this because there are a few days left to use the coupon.

I’m going to admit that I am a “Pennies” as we call it on our house. I would like for them to stick to a advertising strategy but I will work with what they offer and if they are offering a coupon I am there.

This morning I got a coupon for $10 off $25 to use in store or online. The in-store coupon has a unique code which means I can’t share, but the online code is SPEND25. Make sure to check your email inbox to see if you got any extra Easter savings. The coupon is valid from today March 25 till March 31, 2013.

If you shop online, be sure to shop through eBates where you’ll get 4% back and a $10 gift card if you’re a new member. Or get 7% back when you shop through Shop At Home.

I bought three blouses on the clearance rack last weekend and one was a peplum top that was only $4! If you stop by JCPenney to use this coupon make sure you let us know what you score.

Review & Giveaway: (Ends 3/29)

Review & Giveaway: (Ends 3/29)

alex easterDrugstore Divas got a chance to check out, thanks to a code from the site. Staffer Michelle wrote this review for us. Check out the review below.

My first thought when I opened the link to was “OMG so pretty!” Easter is a favorite holiday in our house, thanks to the egg decorating, egg hunt and especially seeing the Easter Bunny!

Try to control your excitement for this because it goes by really fast. I think it took me max two minutes — and half of that was skimming through two Facebook photo albums to pick the perfect one. Looking back, I wish I would have taken my time and picked a different picture but I was anxious to see how it would turn out.

I think the best type of picture for this would be during an actual Easter Egg Hunt. I picked a picture of my boy just cheesing for me and then stuck the bunny to the side. It came out really cute but I think if I had gone with a picture of him from last year on his Easter Egg hunt it would have been cuter.

So, the instructions are simple, you click the “get started” button on the bottom on the homepage. It brings you to a page to upload a picture of your choice, enter your email and first name, and then it brings you to the page to add the bunny. There are 20 different bunny poses. My boy is 4 so I knew I couldn’t get away with having a bunny “posing” him, he would say “no that didn’t happen, Mama” so instead I had the bunny positioned next to him hiding an egg. This way my boy will say “Mama! Look! Da bunny was here?!” and I can see his sweet little face light up with excitement.

All in all, this was great and I can’t wait to show him on Easter morning.

You can make one for $9.99 or you can win a code to make one for free. There will be four winners total. You will only have 12 hours to respond before another winner will be selected since this is time sensitive. This giveaway starts now and ends at 11:59pm EST on March 29. Good luck.

cvs couponCheck your email.

I just got one from CVS for a $4 off $20 coupon, valid through Sunday, March 31.

I always send these to my card because I’m too cheap to pay for ink. When you make a purchase, it will show on the register and you can either choose to use it or save it for another purchase. It doesn’t automatically come off.

There are some good freebies on Sunday, so I’m going to use mine then. What about you?
