We go to a lot of potlucks, which I’ve mentioned before. Every other week, we have something at our clubhouse and we’re asked to bring a snack to share. I always try to make something, but this time of year, I’m so busy. I barely have any time to do more than just grab a back of chips on the way out the door. But these super cute Nutter Butter Ice Cream Cone Cookies are a game changer.

They are so cute and whimsy and are super eye catching. You’ll get a lot of compliments on them. But the reality is they don’t take up much more time than opening a bag of cookies. So you get a lot of credit for going all out without actually putting in a lot of effort.

Plus, they’re the perfect treat to bring to a summer party or backyard BBQ.

My friend Mallory made them a couple years ago, and I always like to remind people about them this time of year … especially if you have a Memorial Day BBQ on the horizon.

How To Make Nutter Butter Ice Cream Cone Cookies:

Melt the chocolate chips. You could use vanilla almond melts if you prefer. Those are a little easier to melt than chocolate chips.

Dip one end of the Nutter Butter cookie in the melted chips.

Dip the same end into sprinkles. It’s a lot easier and neater if you just dunk them instead of sprinkling them on top.

Put an M&M at the tip for the “cherry.”

Cool them on a sheet of wax paper for about 10 to 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Enjoy.

These are perfect if you’re looking for a cute treat for your kids, if you’re throwing a birthday party, whatever.

I'm a big fan of simple. Especially when it looks this good. I love that these look ice cream cone. My son would insist on "testing them out" before we could take them anywhere.
