Flower Arrangements
A dozen years ago now, I was still living in New York and Pete had already moved to North Carolina. I moved down a couple weeks after him, but, we were apart for Valentine’s Day. So, on that day, he ordered from ProFlowers and had them delivered to my job on Valentine’s Day.
It was absolutely the sweetest thing and made me feel really special.
You still have time to order flowers for Valentine’s Day delivery. And I know, it seems like Valentine’s Day flowers are really expensive. But they don’t have to be. Groupon actually has a ton of flower delivery deals right now. Scroll through them, find a nice arrangement that fits into your budget, and have it delivered on Valentine’s Day.
If you’re really last minute, some florists do offer same-day delivery for an additional fee.

Edible Arrangements
Everyone gives chocolate for Valentine’s, pretty much. And you can give a box of chocolates. That’s fine.
Or, you can step it up a little and give chocolate-covered fruit.
If you’re kind of last minute, you can make your own. It’s not that difficult. And it’s super sweet. But, if you’re really last minute and you don’t want to spend you’re time dipping fruit, the next best thing is just order from Edible Arrangements. Valentine’s Day sweets are 25% off right now, so yay for your budget and your sweet tooth.
Or your sweetheart’s sweet tooth. This is a gift, after all.

Book A Spa Day
If you’re a last minute shopper, you can at least plan ahead.
Call your local spa and book a spa day or a couple’s massage. Of course, you’re not going to book it on Valentine’s Day, but you are going to give it on Valentine’s Day. If you’re not 100% sure of your Valentine’s schedule, you can just go to the spa and pick up a gift certificate, put that in an envelope, and pick out a day together. Pete gave me that for my first North Carolina birthday and I absolutely loved it.
A spa day is a great way to plan some relaxing, quality time together without it costing you a ton of money.

Framed Photos
This is a really thoughtful gift idea.
Print out some photos of the two of you from the last year. Quick savings tip: We told you about a deal to print two free photos at Walgreens the other day. So, if you listened, so far this is free.
Buy a picture frame for each photo, then put the picture inside.
We are all glued to our phones and take a ton of pictures all day long. But then, our phones turn into gigantic SD cards that can also text, right? How many photos do you have on your phone that you’ll never even think about again because we don’t live in a world where you have to print anymore.
So having photos printed is actually really sweet. Bonus points if you also think of the perfect space to put them and make sure to match the frames to the style of that room.

The Wobbles Crochet Kits
I love doing crafts. There’s something so relaxing about sitting and either painting or pasting.
A couple years ago for Christmas, my sister-in-law picked me up a Wobbles crochet kit. I had seen it on Shark Tank, but never mentioned it to anyone. She just knew I would like it. And she was right.
It’s a beginner crochet kit with everything you need in the bag. All of the creations are really cute, so your Valentine will love both the relaxing time when they’re making the craft and also the final product.

Craft Kits
If crocheting is not your Valentine’s thing, I totally get it. But that doesn’t mean that craft kits are off the table.
Instead, look for kits like diamond art, or something similar, where all of the pieces are included. That makes it so much easier and more relaxing because your friend doesn’t have to worry about going out to the store for something like glue or searching through their craft supplies for a paintbrush.
Those things make crafting feel like a burden and they won’t do it. So kits that come with everything also come with relaxation and peace of mind. And what woman wouldn’t want that present?

Cozy Pajamas
I have a pair of winter pajamas and a pair of summer pajamas that I am obsessed with. Of course, I have other items I sleep in, but these two sets in particular are amazing. When I got them, I should have bought every single color available because I love them that much.
So, find the coziest pajamas you can, and get them for your Valentine.
She’ll feel great wearing them and may even sleep better because they helped to put her into a cozy, relaxed mood before bedtime. So you’re not only giving pajamas, but you’re giving the gift of sleep.

A Warm Blanket
When I was trying to figure out what to give my great aunt for Christmas last year, my mom said get her a blanket. She said she’ll love it.
To me, that wasn’t the most exciting gift, but that’s because we already have more blankets than we need in our house. A couple years ago, we actually donated some brand new blankets to the community where my parents live, and they were immediately scratched up, so I should have known.
When I gifted the blanket to my great aunt, she immediately opened the packaging and put the blanket on. I thought that might be a little performative, but when I went to her house unannounced a couple days later, she was still rolled up in it.
So, if you’re shopping for a woman, especially an older woman, get her a soft blanket. She’ll be so happy.

Sheet masks
And any type of self-care items are good gifts. But saying, self-care items is kind of generic and doesn’t actually give you a suggestion.
So, start with sheet masks. Not if you’re shopping for me because I have so many of them from years ago, still packed up collecting dust under my sink in the bathroom. But, most women like sheet masks because they force you to sit with your eyes closed for 10 minutes — and sometimes you just need 10 minutes to reset.
If you want to make this feel more like a complete gift, but you’re still running out of time, grab some cozy slipper socks, unscented face lotion in a pretty container, bath bombs, or fancy soap. She’ll love everything (and what she doesn’t she’ll give to her best friend).

Bookstore gift card
A lot of women like to read to relax. But, there’s a good chance that you have no idea what’s on next on her “To Read” list.
You could probably go on her Goodreads account and see what she’s read already, but you don’t know what’s next. And you don’t want to buy a book just for her to not want to read it or have already read. So, get a bookstore gift card instead.
That way, she can get what she wants and she can spend time by herself just wandering through the bookstore, looking at things, enjoying the peace and quiet.

Valentine’s Day Kitchen Towels
One of my favorite things of life is changing my kitchen towels. I change them every holiday and every season. My kitchen towel collection is very extensive.
So my personal favorite suggestion on this list is Valentine’s Day kitchen towels. As long as you’re not shopping for me because I already have three sets that I rotate annually.
But, seasonal towels are just a fun way to add joy and happiness to your Valentine’s life. Plus towels are useful too (although I don’t let people use my seasonal towels because they are decorative not functional, so maybe useful isn’t the right word here).

Valentine’s Day Baking Items
So My Cousin and I are both obsessed with really cute holiday treats. If you’ve been around Drugstore Diva for a while, you’ve seen them. It’s either me making over the top extra desserts for our community potlucks or her making adorable treats for her coworkers.
Between the two of us, we probably have every sprinkle and silicone mold ever created. The trouble is we live 10 hours apart from each other so we can’t share.
And there’s a good chance that your Valentine can’t share with her friends either. But she sees ideas on Instagram and instantly wants to make them.
But that requires buying molds and sprinkles and edible dust and piping bags and lots of things that she probably doesn’t have. So buy them for her. Sprinkles are easy because they get used up so I would focus on that, but silicone molds that are Valentine’s Day-themed are great idea as well.

Coffee shop date/gift card
When Pete and I first moved to North Carolina, we won coffee for a year at a local coffee shop. We would go a couple times a month to get coffee and sit in the coffee shop and just hang out and hit pause on life. It was just such a nice way to connect and stop time for a little while.
So, if your Valentine likes coffee (or really anything from a coffee shop — so hot chocolate, pastries, matcha, you get the idea) plan a coffee date with her.
You can buy her a new reusable cup if you want some sort of tangible gift, but there’s a very good chance that she has enough cups and doesn’t want another. You could also just give her a coffee gift card, but if she’s like me, she’ll probably just add it to her app and never actually use it.
So, the best idea is to buy a coffee gift card and present it to her as a date night. If Pete did that for me, it would be so special and I would be thrilled.

Cute Valentine’s Day Clothes
I have Lularoe Valentine’s Day leggings that I got when it was the hot trending brand. They’re cute and I wear them during the day on Valentine’s Day so I feel festive.
Maybe your Valentine needs something like that. Or a cute top she can wear during the season (like my Valloween sweater in that photo above).
It’s not what she’s gonna wear for date night, but it’s what she’ll wear running errands during the day so she’s festive.
This is such an easy last-minute gift because any store you go into right now is carrying tops and bottoms with hearts on them. She’ll really like any of them, although she may have to wait until next year to wear them.
