Valentine’s Day is on a Saturday this year, which .is super nice because you can take your time when you’re celebrating. No one has to run home and get a full night’s sleep because of work in the morning.
The bad part about it being on Saturday is that, well, that’s next Saturday. That’s really, really soon.
And if it sort of snuck up on you and you haven’t even though about a gift for your man yet, it’s okay. We’re here to help.
We put together this list of Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Gifts For Men. They’re all gifts that he’ll really love and appreciate … and ones you can pull off at the very last second without him realizing you waited until the last second.

If you found this post, but you’re actually looking for gift for the lady in your life, we have a list of Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Gifts For Women that you should check out instead. There are ideas for flower deliveries, spa days, and more.

Sports Tickets
An easy way to feel like you planned, even if you didn’t, is to buy tickets for an event in the future, like a sporting event.
Baseball season doesn’t start until April and hockey is about to take a break for a couple weeks. So you buy tickets for a future game, print them out, and put them in an envelope.
That way, you have your gift, which looks like you planned ahead since the game is in the future, but you can buy it at the very last minute.

Concert Tickets
If your man isn’t into sports, you can try the same gift idea, but with concert tickets.
Find an upcoming show that you know he’d love to check out and buy tickets.
If you use a site like Groupon, you might actually be able to find tickets for a lower price, saving you a bit of money. Yes, Groupon.
I know we all think of StubHub as the place to find cheap concert and sporting event tickets because those are resale tickets and people who are trying to get rid of their tickets and will take less than face value. But, Groupon actually sells tickets for events at a discounted price, so don’t sleep on it.

Cook A Nice Meal
You might not want to cook on Valentine’s Day because you’re like me and cook every night already. So Valentine’s Day is supposed to be a night off from the kitchen. But, if you need a last minute gift, well, it’s a night in the kitchen, my friend.
You don’t want to cook your same regular meals. You want to cook something special.
At this point, you don’t have time to order from one of those fancy meal delivery services that sends you all the ingredients in a box with dry ice. But, you do have time for the grocery store, though.
The Fresh Market has a Sweetheart Ribeye Steak that’s in a heart shape and Heart-Shaped Crab Cakes available for purchase. Lowes Foods has the Sweetheart Meal Deal, which comes with two ribeye or New York strip steaks, two lobster tails, two twice baked potatoes, and fudge iced brownies (and somehow, it’s only $30.99, which blows my mind).
Yes, you do have to cook those. And yes, you do already cook all the time; we established that. But surf and turf is probably not something you cook on a regular basis, so it’s definitely something special. And, since grocery stores are really good at stocking up promo deals, you can pull this off last minute.

A Broquet
If you’re kind of crafty, you can throw a broquet together at the last minute. It’s a bouquet, but for bros. And it’s a great gift if your man loves snacks or has a sweet tooth.
Start with some sort of coffee mug or glass. Fill it with a little bit of craft or floral foam.
Pick up your man’s favorite snacks, like chocolate or beef jerky. Stick skewers to the back of your treats, then stick the treats and snacks into the foam. Now, they’re popping out of the mug, just like a bouquet.
It only takes a little bit of time to put this together, but it’s really special and doesn’t feel last minute.

A Mixed 6-Pack
If all else fails, a mixed 6-pack is the way to go. There are so many bars and bottle shops in our area, plus grocery stores, that let you do a mixed six.
And that gift, it’s kind of like a night out … but in. Instead of doing a flight out at a brewery, your Valentine can open the ones you got him and have a brewery tour at home. You can turn it into a whole experience, and really, the best gift you can give are time and new memories.
If he doesn’t drink alcohol, a mixed 6-pack of soda or kombucha would be fun too. There are so many fun new brands (poppi, Culture Pop, etc.) that this would be a great gift idea.
For our six month anniversary, I gave Pete a mixed six pack and a coaster I put in my purse on the day we met. He thought it was a really thoughtful gift and I’m sure the special man in your life will think so too.

Bluetooth Reusable Mug
If your man loves music, this Bluetooth reusable mug is absolutely perfect. It’s a travel mug, which holds hot and cold beverages, and has a speaker at the bottom. You can play music through it via Bluetooth, which is so much fun.
I actually got it for Pete a few years ago and he loved it.
Plus, you know, reusable mugs are good for the earth and for your wallet.

Wallet Filled With Gift Cards
I’ve given a wallet filled with gift cards as a gift a few times and it’s such a fun idea.
Purchase a new fabric or leather wallet with lots of spaces for cards (this doesn’t work with those metal/magnetic money clips). Then, head to your man’s favorite places and pick up $5 gift cards to those places (Starbucks, McDonald’s, etc.) and put one in each slot of the wallet.
It’s a really fun gift.

Socks
I gift Pete socks for every random holiday during the year. He loves completely coordinating his outfits, all the way down to his socks. So I buy him really fun ones during the year.
If your guy is the same way, gifting him fun socks is a good idea.
And, yes, I mean fun socks with designs, sayings, etc. Don’t get boring white or work socks. That’s not really a great gift idea.

Mixed Nuts
When I’m getting a gift for my dad, I always get some sort of mixed nuts. It’s one of his favorite snacks. Pete really likes snacking on mixed nuts, too, so I think this is just universally a good gift for a man, no matter if you’re shopping for your dad, a new boyfriend, or your husband.
You can get a can of peanuts that’s on sale at the grocery store or something more high end. Buy whatever fits into your budget.

Travel Bag
Pete and I travel a lot. Last year, our big trips were Elloree in March, Nashville in September, and Florida in December. We did take a couple other weekend trips too.
Pete ended up having to take his gym back to Nashville because of the unanticipated size restrictions because his older travel bag started peeling and falling apart on a trip before that.
So, when we got home, we ordered him a new travel bag that fit restrictions for our Florida trip.
And, if you have any travel plans this year, take a peek at your man’s bag and see if it needs an upgrade. If it does, you have a great gift idea.

Purchase Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Gifts For Men Online:
There are our top picks for last minute gifts, but if none of these are the perfect gift for your Valentine, that’s okay. You can find a bunch at the following stores online:
Just keep in mind that if you are doing any last-minute shopping online, your gift might not show up in time. We’re all used to Amazon Prime’s two-day shipping for Prime members, but not every store (and not even everything on Amazon) has that sort of quick shipping.
So, before you complete your order, check the delivery date to make sure it will get to you before February 14th. Also, consider curbside or in-store pickup, where available, to avoid paying shipping charges.
