Adding peanuts to your dessert is a great idea to add a salty crunch to your sweets. Find some great ways to do that in this list of Desserts with Peanuts.
For more sweet treats, check out all of our dessert recipes.
We always have peanuts in our house. They’re a really good snack when you’re looking for a salty treat. They’re also really great to incorporate into dessert too. It adds a little bit of a salty flavor to break up the sweetness of dessert.
Sure, you can chop peanuts and toss them on top of ice cream. But, the recipes on this list of desserts with peanuts is a little more creative than that. But, the best part is that they’re all still really easy, no bake desserts. The hardest part about any of them is using the microwave.
Also, all these recipes use cocktail peanuts (the type you find in containers, not the ones in shells). And, to make this list, each recipe had to have actual peanuts in it somewhere, not just peanut butter. We have some great peanut butter dessert recipes, like peanut butter cookies and peanut butter Easter eggs, but those don’t have any actual peanuts as an ingredient, so they didn’t make the list.
If you’re buying a container of peanuts to make these recipes, save it to make our DIY Snowman Candy Holder. It’s made from an upcycled peanuts container.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark
Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark is the perfect dessert for peanut butter lovers. Creamy peanut butter is melted and swirled into melted chocolate, then topped with crushed, crunchy peanuts on top.
It’s a tasty, melt in your mouth, sweet and salty bite with a little crunch.
2 Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge
Two ingredient fudge is a little bit of a stretch on the name because it’s two ingredients and then peanuts. The recipe is so easy, it’ll be your new favorite way to make fudge from now on.
Sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter (classic peanut butter, not natural peanut butter, FYI) are mixed together to form a fudge. While it’s still warm, chopped peanuts are spread on top.
This treat is a great option when you’re looking for a dessert without any chocolate (if you’re like me and give up chocolate for Lent but don’t give up dessert).
2 Ingredient Peanut Clusters
If you like chocolate-covered peanuts, you’ll love these Peanut Clusters. They’re very similar except, instead of just eating one peanut at a time, you’re eating a cluster.
You only need two ingredients for this recipe: peanuts and chocolate. Since the majority of what you’re tasting is the chocolate, we suggest using a good quality chocolate for it. But you can use any time of chocolate that you like.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheerios Chex Muddy Buddies
There’s a lot that goes into this Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheerios Chex Muddy Buddies recipe: semi-sweet chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter, melted butter, vanilla extract, Chex and Cheerios cereal, sugar, mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, and (of course) peanuts.
Yes, it sounds like a lot. But every ingredient is necessary and compliments everything else in the muddy buddies recipe. Fun fact: Muddy Buddies is also known as Puppy Chow and Monkey Munch.
Rocky Road Fudge
My absolute favorite recipe on this list is this Rocky Road Fudge, made from a combination of chocolate, mini marshmallows, and peanuts. My mom makes it every year for her Christmas cookie platter, and we would steal so many pieces before she would give the rest away to her friends.
If you have a sweet tooth, this is the recipe you want to start with.
Which of these desserts with peanuts are you going to make first? Let us know in the comments.

Umm I absolutely need to attempt that Caramel Drumstick pie! And my friend makes that nougat bar (which is basically like a payday, right?) and I LOVE it!

I'm a big fan of peanuts so definitely going to give some of these recipes a try. I've always fancied giving peanut brittle a try but never have. Can you believe it!?

My favorite way to enjoy nuts in my dessert is just having them covered in chocolate, especially dark chocolate. They pair so well together.

I've never realised how many delicious options can be made with this interesting ingredient. Peanuts are not necessarily my favourites however I'll definitely try the peanut bars.
