Super Mario Brothers is such a classic video game. It’s nostalgic for adults and something that they can introduce to their kids.
Mario games aren’t that difficult to learn (they’re difficult to master, though), so they’re fun for all ages. So everyone has a soft spot in their heart for the Italian plumber, especially if you’re my age and remember watching the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! cartoon on television.

I bought this Super Mario Bros. Icons Light for my brother a couple years ago and his sons immediately claimed it for their nightlight. So, no matter what age your Super Mario fan is, this light is perfect.
It has a couple settings, which include a solid light and another that syncs with Bluetooth.
Super Mario Piranha Plant LEGO Set
If you have a Mario fan who has a gaming room, or just wants a little pop of Super Mario in a bedroom, this Super Mario Piranha Plant LEGO Set is perfect.
It is, of course, a Nintendo vibe but fits with the other Lego Botanical sets, so if your friend already has some of those, this will fit in with it.
Super Mario The Game Of Life
Playing Super Mario doesn’t solely have to happen on a handheld device with a screen. It can happen in a board game too if you buy your friend the Super Mario The Game Of Life.
It takes place in the Super Mario Universe. Unlike the original Game Of Life, where you get a car and your goal is to get married, have kids, have a career, and retire, this version’s goal to defeat Bowser. So it’s more fun and less … real life stress.

Reusable water bottles are on every back to school list. Kids can have water all day long, which is great.
Using them at home is a great idea. For home use, though, one with a straw is better (according to Michelle, who has four boys, so we trust her opinion around here).

Super Mario Super Star Tree Topper
If you’re shopping for a Christmas gift for a Super Mario fan, this Super Mario Super Star Tree Topper is perfect.
It lights up and plays music, which is awesome. There are other (less expensive) versions that just sit there, but you really need a star that lights up if it’s gonna sit on a Christmas tree.
Super Mario Sun-Staches
These Super Mario Sun-Staches are so much fun for kids. They are regular sunglasses, but then have a mustache under them. You can get them as Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.
If your kid won’t love the mustache, you can get just the sunglasses and head/hat of Bowser, Peach, or Yoshi instead.
Super Mario Little Golden Book
I love giving books for holidays. Honestly, anything that’s not a screen is good with me. But I do try to gift books when I can.
So, if I was shopping for a young Super Mario fan, this Super Mario Little Golden Book would be on the top of my list. I mean, you can’t ever go wrong with Little Golden Books.
Super Mario Bros Christmas Ornament
When my godson was born, I started a tradition of buying him a Christmas ornament every year. It was something my mom did for us and I wanted to continue that with him.
Since my brother, his dad, loves Super Mario and introduced it to my godson at a young age, I had to buy him a Super Mario-themed Christmas ornament one year.
If you’re shopping for a Mario lover, you need to get him one too.
Super Mario Balancing Game
With this Super Mario Balancing Game, you have a wobbly tower, plus four characters from the game. You roll a die and land on either a 1, 2, or 0. You have to put that number of characters on the tower and balance it.
There are three stages in the collection, which can link together. I highly suggest you do that because we have played as a single tower and the game can be over in two rolls.
Super Mario Hooded Towel
My mom has a different hooded towel for each of my nephews and my niece when they come visit her home. Of course, one of those is a Super Mario Hooded Towel.
If you have a young Super Mario fan, definitely get them one. I promise you they’ll love it.
Super Mario Chess Game
If your Mario fan also loves board games, this Super Mario Chess Set is a really cute idea.
Half the pieces are characters from the Super Mario Universe and the rest (the pawns) are coins. I wouldn’t recommend buying this set for someone who is unfamiliar with chess because it’s a little hard to learn on without the traditional pieces, but it’s good for someone who already knows the pieces and how they move.
