Sometimes, I like to make, what I affectionately call, snack dinner. It’s a fun recipe where I don’t worry about nutrition and we eat it off a cookie sheet in the living room. I make it on those nights when we’re just exhausted and paper plates will have to do. Because I hate paper plates. I often refresh to use them for anything other than a place to hold paint when I’m crafting. But on the nights when we have snack dinner, paper plates are fine. And, in case you’re wondering, we ate this Pull Apart Pizza on paper plates.
It was so much fun.
I made three pizzas and topped one with spinach, one with fresh basil from our garden, and I left one plain. You can use whatever toppings you’d like, but our recipe will call for those specifically.

Pull Apart Pizza Ingredients:
- 12 garlic breadsticks (ours came in three sets of four)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 11 oz. package spinach
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Fresh dried oregano
- Fresh basil
How To Make Pull Apart Pizza:
Pre-heat the oven to 350 F.
Cook the spinach and garlic on the stove until the spinach is wilted.
Put the breadsticks on a cookie sheet. Use a knife to cut the breadsticks through a little so they will pull apart easily.
Since these already had garlic and a little cheese on them, I skipped adding garlic or oil to these. If you start with plain breadsticks, add a little oil in the tops and add some chopped garlic.
Crumble fresh dried oregano on top, then cover the breadsticks with sauce.
Add cheese on top.
Add your toppings. I did fresh basil on one, spinach on the second, and left the third plain.
Bake until the cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
Pull a breadstick off the pizza and enjoy. Pull apart pizza is that simple.
