This is probably the gazillionth time you’ve heard me say this, but we are having company visit for Easter. And of course, that means giving out Easter gifts. But if you know me, you know I can’t just put candy in a plastic bag, tie some ribbon, and call it a gift. Nope. Instead, I had to create Card Stock Easter Bunny Treat Bags.
I’ve seen the super cute Easter Bunny paper bags all over Pinterest, but I wasn’t sure that cutting so much of the bag actually left any room for treats. A handful of candy would fit, but I needed something bigger that would hold more goodies.
I did like the idea of paper bags Easter treat bags, though. So I decided to make card stock Easter Bunnies to go on the outside of the bags instead. Plus, if you know me, you know I have an affinity for cutting card stock.
This isn’t the only Easter-themed craft we have on Drugstore Divas. For more, check out all of our Easy Easter Craft Ideas.

What You’ll Need:
- Paper bags
- White card stock
- Pink card stock
- Black card stock
- Green card stock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Marker
- Mason Jar lid
What You’ll Do:
Trace circles on to the white card stock using the Mason jar lid. Cut them out.
Freehand rabbit ears onto the white card stock and cut out two per bunny.
Trace one of the ears on to the pink sheet of card stock. Then, trim off a few centimeters from the edge (since you will want the pink to be a bit smaller than the white ear). Cut out two per bunny.
Glue the pink onto the white card stock. If you have pencil marks from tracing, you’ll want to put the glue onto the pencil-marked side of the pink card stock and glue it onto the non-pencil-marked side of the white card stock.
Now to make the eyes.
Cut two ovals from the white card stock. Glue them on to the black card stock. Then, cut the black card stock to leave just a small outline around the white. Cut two small circles and glue them on to the white card stock to make pupils.
Now it’s on to the rest of the face.
Cut a triangle with a flat bottom from pink card stock for the nose. Cut a rounded lower-case w, with a tall center, for the mouth. And then, cut six long, thin, black rectangles for whiskers. Glue them all on to the head.
Glue the ears to the back of the head.
Cut a bow from the green card stock. Then, write your recipient’s name on it using the marker. Glue the bow to the bottom of the bunny.
Once it is dried completely, glue it to the front of the paper bag. Let it dry completely before filling it with Easter treats.
