Pieces of chocolate fudge with red and green M&M candies and white sprinkles on top with the words "Chocolate Christmas Fudge" digitally written on top.

When I was growing up, my mom would make these huge Christmas cookie platters. She would spend every weekend baking a ton of cookies and putting these amazing trays together. They would have Rocky Road Fudge on them … and we would always steal a piece when she wasn’t paying attention. I was thinking about Christmas treats this year and decided I would make a Chocolate Christmas Fudge instead of the Rocky Road Fudge.

I made a huge batch of it recently to bring to our community’s potluck and it was a big hit. I saved some of it to give out as gifts to a couple friends … as long as I don’t eat it all before then.

Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk together. I usually do that and it makes a softer fudge. I melted the chips alone and stirred in the milk cold this time because it makes a firmer fudge, and I wanted that for the toppings.

Pour the holiday sprinkles on top of that to fill the gaps. Also give them a push to make sure they’re down. A little bouncing of the pan to make sure everything is stuck doesn’t hurt either.

Put the fudge in the fridge until it cools (overnight is best, but this time of year, sometimes you’re rushing).
