Pizza is such an easy meal. Honestly, it’s so easy to go to the store, grab a frozen pizza, and toss it in the oven when you get home. Dinner’s done. And sometimes, that’s okay. But when it’s so simple to make your own fresh pizza, why wouldn’t you do it? When I need a quick and easy dinner, my go to is 2 Ingredient Dough Pizza. You can riff on it and make a 2 Ingredient Dough White Pizza too.

White pizza is pizza without a red marinara sauce. Of course, we always have marinara sauce at home. Pete owns Rita’s Wooden Spoon, a small batch marinara sauce business. So most of our pizza has a red sauce.

But when I have ricotta cheese left over from something like baked ziti, I use it up in white pizza.

2 Ingredient Dough White Pizza

This recipe is a pizza recipe using 2 Ingredient Dough. While we will go through how to make the dough, this post won’t actually answer any questions about the dough. For that, check out our 2 Ingredient Dough recipe.

2 Ingredient Dough White Pizza Ingredients:

  • 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dried oregano
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Grape tomatoes or toppings of your choice
  • Fresh basil leaves

How To Make 2 Ingredient Dough White Pizza:

Pre-heat the oven to 350 F. If you have a pizza stone, heat that in the oven as it’s pre-heating.

Mix together your non-fat Greek yogurt, self-rising flour, oregano, and salt to form a ball.

On a floured surface, kneed the dough ball for about three minutes, making sure all the ingredients are combined.

Flour a rolling pin and roll your dough into a circle, about 1/4 inch thick. Pinch up around the sides, and push down in the middle, to make a crust.

Bake for 15 minutes on the pre-heated pizza stone. Alternatively, if you don’t have a pizza stone, you can bake it on a large cookie sheet.

Take the pizza stone (or cookie sheet) out of the oven.

Use a basting brush to spread the olive oil across the entirety of the dough (excluding the crust). Sprinkle with chopped garlic.

Top with the ricotta cheese, using it as a sauce (so it will be a thin layer, spread in the same area you put the olive oil).

Top with mozzarella cheese.
