Mini Chicken Pot Pies
Our Mini Chicken Pot Pies are such a fun dinner recipe.
Canned biscuits are the base of the pot pie. You cut one in half, flatten it, and put it in a muffin pan. Then, fill it with homemade chicken pot pie filling, and bake. Super easy. Super delicious.
Scrambled Egg And Cheese Stuffed Waffles
These Scrambled Egg And Cheese Stuffed Waffles are such an easy recipe for breakfast.
You flatten two biscuit rounds. Make scrambled eggs, then add them and cheese between the rounds. Cook them on a waffle maker for a delicious breakfast.
Pizza Bombs
Pizza is an easy meal for busy weeknights. But, if you have pizza ingredients, but no pizza dough, a can of biscuits can come to your rescue. Use it to make these Pizza Bombs.
Marinara sauce and cubes of mozzarella cheese are wrapped in flattened biscuit dough. They’re covered in garlic butter, then sprinkled with parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Bake and serve with marinara sauce to dip these into.
Cheddar Garlic Pull Apart Muffins
These Cheddar Garlic Pull Apart Muffins are very similar to Monkey Bread (aka pull-apart bread), but in individual servings rather than making a huge version in a Bundt pan. Also, this is savory, not sweet. But other than that, very similar.
Pieces of biscuit dough are mixed with chopped garlic, olive oil, and cheddar cheese. A few pieces are dropped into each cavity of a muffin pan, then the entire tray is baked. It’s my favorite side for tomato soup, but you could serve this with any soup or even any Italian dinner where you want bread as a side.
Pigs In A Blanket
I say this a lot, but Pigs In A Blanket are my favorite appetizer. If you’re having a party and you make these, I will eat them entire tray. Okay fine. I won’t. But I will eat them and enjoy them. So invite me.
My family always made Pigs In A Blanket with refrigerated biscuits. You could also use crescent rolls, if you wanted to be fancy. Either works. Wrap a cocktail wiener in dough, set it on a baking sheet, and bake until they’re golden brown. That’s it. It’s so easy.
