Valentine’s Day is a good excuse to show your family and friends just how much you love them. And eat treats. I’m a big fan of Valentine’s Day treats.
But, life is busy. You don’t always have time to make homemade treats.
If you have time to head to Dunkin’ for some donuts, then print some papers out, you have time to make these Valentine’s Day Donut Treats, especially since you don’t have to make the treat topper. I’ve already made that for you.

How To Make Valentine’s Day Donut Treats:
Purchase your donuts at Dunkin’.
Valentine’s Day themed donuts or pink donuts like a strawberry frosted with sprinkles, are perfect for this if you’re giving them out right away because they look festive.
If you’re making these the day before, a donut like a French cruller or lemon filled works better because there is no icing on them to melt and spread.
If you don’t want to head out to your local Dunkin’, you can order Dunkin’ on Doordash.
Put the donuts in a plastic zip top bag and close the bag.
A bag that has a width of 7.5-inches is perfect because it will fit each donut perfectly. It also is the appropriate size for our free printable.
Print out the printable.
Use a paper trimmer to cut it to size (it ends up being 7.5-inches by 4 inches, with the words and image fitting on 2 inches).
Fold the topper in half.
Take the top of the plastic bag, with the donut in it, and fold it down two inches, then another two inches.
Staple the topper to the top of the bag, once on each side and once in the middle.
Continue until you’ve finished all the Valentine’s Day donut treats.
Valentine’s Day Donut Treats Free Printable Topper
The free printable topper is formatted to be printed on a home printer on a sheet of 8.5- x 11-inch printer paper. You could use white cardstock instead.
Each printable comes with two treat toppers: “I Donut Know A Better Valentine” with pink and gray lines and “Valentine, I’m Donuts About You” with blue and gray lines.

It prints best on full color in landscape mode. Don’t print it using fast draft or you’ll lower the quality.
Valentine’s Day Doughnut Treats: Frequently Asked Questions
You’re going to want to make these as close to your Valentine’s Day party or celebration as possible.
There is a chance that the frosting, icing, or glaze will melt if you make these too soon. You can try to store them in the fridge to preserve the icing, but that will change the quality of the donut itself.
When you try and put older donuts in the bags, you run the risk of the icing smudging and getting stuck to the bag itself. The doughnuts will still be edible, of course, but they won’t be as pretty as they could be.
We use a sandwich bag that is 7.5- x 7-inches. It perfectly fits the donuts, giving them enough room to breathe, plus leaving enough room for you to fold the top down and attach the Valentine’s Day doughnut topper.
Look for sandwich bags that don’t have any writing or images printed on them. Blank bags look better if your donut slides around.
If all you have are bags with a brand name or logo printed on them, they’re fine to use. Just make the side with the logo the back and try to position the doughnut in a way that covers it (if you’re concerned).
Dunkin’ Valentine’s Day Donuts And Drinks For 2022
Dunkin’ officially launched it’s Valentine’s Day offerings on February 2, 2022. Timing is up to each individual store, so some stores may have had them earlier and some may be rolling them out soon (so if you haven’t seen them in your store yet, head back soon).
Dunkin’ has two drinks for Valentine’s: Cocoa Mocha Iced Signature Latte (rich espresso and decadent mocha flavor) and Pink Strawberry Dunkin’ Coconut Refresher (with strawberry dragonfruit flavor combined with coconutmilk).
If you order via the app, you can order the Mocha Raspberry Latte (rich espresso with raspberry and mocha flavors).
The two heart-shaped donut offerings from last year are returning for 2022: the Brownie Batter (a heart-shaped chocolate frosted donut with brownie batter flavored buttercreme filling and topped with sprinkles) and Cupid’s Choice (a heart-shaped strawberry-flavored iced donut filled with Bavarian Kreme and sprinkles).
