But really, Bubba basically gave us a list of ideas, but no recipes to go with them.
That’s where I come in. I put together this list of easy shrimp recipes. Shrimp is the star in all of them, but they do have other ingredients in them (for the most part). Most of these recipes are made with frozen shrimp (because they’re cheaper at the grocery stores and you know, we’re always balling on a budget). Frozen shrimp are so easy to defrost by running them under cold water for about eight minutes.
So grab that bag from the freezer and get one of these recipes on your dinner table tonight.

If you’re looking at these shrimp recipes, it might be because you’re trying to stretch your grocery budget and cook at home. That’s absolutely possible. You can cook delicious meals at home.

Your whole family is going to love these Chili Lime Shrimp Wonton Cups With Pico De Gallo because they’re eye catching and delicious.
Jumbo shrimp are marinated in a large bowl with a little olive oil, lime juice, and seasoning. Then, they’re perfectly pan fried in a large skillet.
Wonton wrapper cups are filled with a homemade pico de gallo and queso fresco, then topped with the shrimp.

Grilled Shrimp Kabobs
Grilled Shrimp Kabobs are the best way to feed a crowd during the summer.
Larger shrimp give the best results because they’ll hold up better when you’re skewering them.
Plus, you can make them however you want. Start with shrimp skewers but add whatever fresh veggies your family likes. We go with bell peppers and onions. Toss them on the grill, cook them for a couple of minutes on each side, and serve.

Simple Shrimp On The Barbie
If you’re outside grilling and you want a little snack, Simple Shrimp On The Barbie are for you. This is a great recipe for smaller shrimp because you don’t have to worry about fitting them on a skewer, like the recipe above.
Fresh shrimp are marinated in raspberry vinaigrette dressing and Old Bay seasoning. Foil is placed on a hot grill and the shrimp are placed and cooked on top. The best part is the easy cleanup. Just throw away the foil and you’re done.

Mardi Gras Pasta (aka Cajun Alfredo)
Mardi Gras Pasta, also known as Cajun Alfredo, is a creamy shrimp pasta recipe that’s a staple in New Orleans.
The shrimp cook in a large skillet, and then are set aside. The rest of the ingredients (onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage, etc.) are cooked in the same pan with heavy cream to cream a delicious creamy sauce that’s basically a spicy alfredo. The shrimp are added back in and it’s all served over linguine pasta.
