July 4th is later this week and, of course, I’m all about patriotic foods. I’m the kind of person that really likes themed anything, so I would be remiss to not fill our table with red, white, and blue everything. For this year, the new addition to our menu is our red, white, and blue patriotic chocolate stars. It’s one of the most easy patriotic desserts that I’ve made.
What’s great too is you can make these patriotic chocolate stars in batches ahead of time. I used a silicone star mold, which made this so easy. If you were making a ton of these, you have two options. You can either pick up a few star molds or start making these ahead of time and just make a ton of batches between when you start and when you want to eat them.
These chocolate stars are just one of the red, white, and blue recipes on the blog. If you’re looking for more, check out all of our patriotic recipes. You’ll also get some tips on throwing the best patriotic party.

White & Blue Patriotic Chocolate Stars Ingredients:
How To Make White & Blue Patriotic Chocolate Stars:
Using a ginger grater to shave some of the blue and red candy melts into the star cavities in the silicone star mold.
You could use red or blue chocolate chips, but I use candy melts because they’re easier to find.
Melt the white chocolate in a microwavable-safe bowl.
Spoon a dollop of melted white chocolate into each star cavity.
Carefully bounce the silicone star mold on the counter a few times to flatten the white chocolate.
Put the entire mold in the fridge until it hardens.
When they’re done, the patriotic chocolate stars will pop right out of the silicone mold. You can then put them in a bag and keep them in the fridge while you use the mold to make more.
