It’s finally officially fall, but it’s been Pumpkin Spice Season for months now, right? It’s a fall flavor but the way people go crazy for it, you would think restaurants would just get the hint and sell pumpkin spice treats year round. At least you can make your own at home. We put together The Ultimate List Of Pumpkin Spice Recipes, which features over 100 pumpkin spice recipes.
It’s broken down into two categories: Pumpkin Spice Foods and Pumpkin Spice Drinks. That way, you can easily find what you’re looking for in the off season.
After the recipes, we take a minute to talk about pumpkin spice. So be sure to check that out at the end of the post.
The Ultimate List Of Pumpkin Spice Recipes
As with the majority of our lists, they’re not in any particular order.
Also, as with all our lists, we made our best effort to assure that there’s only one of each recipe. There are exceptions, if the cooking method is different or if there’s a one serving vs. full cake recipe. But, for the most part, we try not to repeat anything.
Pumpkin Spice Foods
The majority of these pumpkin spice foods are sweet. If you want something savory, it’s not going to use a spice blend that’s specifically made for pumpkin pie.

What is pumpkin spice?
Pumpkin spice refers to the spices that are added to make pumpkin pie. It actually was originally called pumpkin pie spice, but people were too lazy to say all three of those words and dropped the “pie.” So now, pumpkin pie spice is known simply as pumpkin spice.
Pumpkin spice is a combination of ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, ground cloves, and ground allspice.
As you can see, it doesn’t actually contain any pumpkin. That’s a misconception thanks to the aforementioned lazy people who dropped the pie. You can tell that to your friends when they start saying they won’t drink a PSL because they don’t like pumpkin.
The more you know, right?
Can you make pumpkin spice at home?
You can buy pumpkin spice in stores or order pumpkin spice online, but maybe you’re at home and craving a pumpkin spice latte and don’t have any pumpkin spice.
No worries. You can make pumpkin spice at home as long as you have an ample spice rack.
According to The Kitchn, you need:
Pumpkin Spice Recipe
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground mace
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Whisk the ingredients together to make 2 1/3 tablespoons of pumpkin spice.
Now, I’ll be honest. We have all those ingredients in our pantry at all times except ground mace. I have no idea what that is, and The Kitchn’s recipe is the only one I saw that used ground mace. But, I picked that one to add to this post because it is also the only one of the top recipes that called for allspice, and I know for sure that you should include that in your homemade pumpkin spice.
After you make your pumpkin spice at home, which one of these pumpkin spice recipes are you going to make first?

OMG, I have never imagined that so many pumpkin spice recipes even exist and honestly I didn't know that pumpkin spice doesn't contain pumpkin. Here in Belgium we actually love to eat pumpkin cream soup and also pumpkin quiche.
