I mean, there’s a day for everything so of course French fries were gonna have their day on the calendar. But, this is one of those bigger National Days where a bunch of restaurants join in on the fun and offer free (and discounted) food to celebrate.

We’re only including national chains on this list. Your local restaurants may be offering something in honor of National French Fry Day, but this list would get too overwhelming if I included all of those.
Burger King
Get free fries of any size with purchase via the app. You must be a member of Burger King’s Royal Perks loyalty program to get the offer.
Side note: This offer is valid weekly through December 31. It’s not exclusive to National Fry Day.
Carl’s Jr.
Use the Carl’s Jr. app or website to purchase fries on National French Fry Day, either a la carte or part of a combo, and you’ll get free small fries with any $1+ purchase, daily, until the end of the year.

Charleys Cheesesteaks
Charleys Rewards members can get $1 Original Fries at Charleys.
Checkers
Rewards members can get a free order of XL fries from July 14 to 16.
If you’re not a member (or just can’t stand the idea of downloading another mobile app), any customer can get any size fries for $1 from July 24 to August 6. This offer is valid on your in-store or in-app purchase.
In my opinion, Checkers has the best fries of any fast food chain. And when I want them, I always buy a bag of Checkers frozen fries at Walmart.
Chickie’s & Pete’s
Crabfries are only $1 all day long. Plus, all sales of the fries go to the FOP Survivors Fund.
Del Taco
Get free medium fries with any $3 purchase with the offer in the app.
In addition to this, Del Taco is running a Summer of Free promotion where there will be a daily in-app offer every day from July 3 to July 16.
Fatburger

Get a free order of curly fries, waffle fries, or tots with an entrée purchase at participating locations.
Jack In The Box
Jack Pack members can get a free order of large curly or regular fries with a $15 purchase when you order through the my app or online.

McDonald’s
There will be an offer in the McDonald’s app for a free any size fries, no minimum purchase necessary.
Rally’s
Rewards members can get a free order of XL fries from July 14 to 16.

Red Robin
Although not a National French Fry Day deal specifically, Red Robin offers bottomless sides, including a variety of fries, with the purchase of a burger every day. You can choose from bottomless steak fries, sweet potato fries, garlic fries, kettle chips, broccoli, or a side salad.
Smashburger
Get a free order of regular French fries, Smashfries, or sweet potato fries with any purchase at a participating locations. Mention this offer in person. If you’re ordering online, use the promo code FRIES at checkout.
Wendy’s
Celebrate National French Fry Day twice at Wendy’s.
Get free small seasoned potatoes for breakfast with any purchase. Then, get free fries of any size with purchase during lunch or dinner hours. The offers must be redeemed via the Wendy’s app.
Heinz x UberEats Deal
This year, Heinz is saying you can’t have French fries without ketchup. And UberEats is helping spread the word.
Get $5.70 (because of Heinz 57) off UberEats orders that include fries at participating restaurants, like Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, BurgerFi, Chili’s, Freddy’s, IHOP, and more.
