Halloween Pretzel Spider Webs Ingredients:
You can get the full list of ingredients with measurements in the recipe card below.
- Thin pretzel sticks – You want the thin pretzel sticks because they’re thin and the almond bark is thin, so the texture works perfectly. Pretzel rods are pretty thick and make these really clunky.
- Vanilla almond bark – Candy melts are super easy to work with, but they don’t taste great. Vanilla almond bark is as easy to use as candy melts and it tastes better. We don’t suggest white chocolate chips because they burn easily and can’t be reheated if they cool.
- Black decorating gel – This is to make the spider. You could just gummy spider candies or use spider hard candies instead.
- Halloween sprinkles – Any sprinkle mix works.
How To Make Halloween Pretzel Spider Webs:

Keep 24 of the thin pretzel sticks whole. Cut the remaining 48 in half. You’ll need four total pretzel sticks (one whole and three cut in half) per Halloween pretzel spider web.

Arrange the pretzels on a silicone baking mat on a baking pan. Set the full pretzel in the middle, then three pieces equidistant above the pretzel and three equidistant below.
You should be able to fit 12 pretzel webs per baking sheet.

Melt one of the squares of vanilla almond bark according to the package.
The easiest way to do this is to microwave for one minute, stir, then microwave and stir at 30 second intervals until the almond bark is melted completely.
Pour the melted almond bark in a ziptop plastic bag. Slightly cut the corner of the bag.

Use the ziptop bag to pipe an almond bark circle in the center of the pretzel sticks. Make sure to cover each section where the pretzel pieces touch the center stick. The real goal of this circle is to stick the pretzels together.
Continue until you’ve finished all 12 of the pretzel clusters.

Put a dab of black decorating gel in the center of the white circle, while it’s still warm.

Use a toothpick to drag the black decorating gel out eight times to make a spider in the center of the circle.
The white almond bark circle will cool quickly, and you need to drag the black decorating gel while the white circle is warm in order to make the legs.

Melt a second square of almond bark along with any almond bark that remains in the zip top bag.
Pour the melted almond bark back into the ziptop bag.
Draw a circle around the outer edge of the pretzels.
Then, draw a second circle between the center circle and the outer circle.
You have two ways to do this. You can either do it simply and make a curved circle shape. Alternatively, you can do semi-circles that concave in between the pretzels to give more of a web shape. Either way, the pretzel spider webs will look great.
Repeat until you have finished six of the pretzel webs.

Sprinkle the Halloween sprinkles along the outside almond bark circle.
If you wait until you’ve piped the spider webs on all 12 pretzel clusters, the first one will dry before you’re able to add any sprinkles and the sprinkles won’t stick. So, it’s best to do this in batches of six.
Make the other six Halloween pretzels.
Stick the entire tray into the fridge for about 20 minutes until the chocolate has completely hardened. Move the Halloween pretzel spider webs into an airtight container.
Repeat the entire process to make 12 more Halloween pretzel spider webs.
