Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms Ingredients:
- 12 button mushrooms
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 8 oz. pack of cream cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms:
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Clean the mushrooms and pull out the stems and outer rim of the mushroom.
Chop those and the garlic and onion. Cook them in a saucepan until the onion is translucent.
In a bowl, microwave the cream cheese about 30 seconds until it is soft. Add the bread crumbs and spices. Add the mushroom mixture. Stir until combined.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese.
Put the mushrooms, hole side up, on a baking sheet. Generously season each with salt.
Fill each mushroom hole with the cream cheese mixture. Stuff them as well as possible and they’ll be easier to eat than if you just sort of dollop the cream cheese on top.
Bake for 20 minutes, until the top of the cream cheese is browned.
Serve warm.
I love these cream cheese stuffed mushrooms. They’re not your traditional Italian stuffed mushrooms, but they’re really delicious. They’re also vegetarian, so you can have an option for any friends who don’t eat meat.
