Cheeseburger Sliders With Hawaiian Rolls
One of the easiest ways to make cheeseburgers for a crowd is making this Cheeseburger Sliders With Hawaiian Rolls recipe.
Slices of Swiss cheese are layered on Hawaiian rolls with cooked ground beef, pickles, and condiments. We top the bread with sesame seeds before baking because it gets that good burger look.
Once the cheeseburgers are done, you cut the Hawaiian rolls along the indentations to make 12 equal portions. Once you make this, it’ll be your go-to recipe for every party you host from then on.
Mozzarella Cheese Stuffed Hamburgers On The Grill
A great way to add cheese to a burger is by stuffing the patty, like we do for these Mozzarella Cheese Stuffed Hamburgers On The Grill.
Form one patty, made a shallow depression in center, then add shredded mozzarella there. Add another patty on top and cook. You do end up with slightly thicker patties this way, but they’re pretty close to standard size.
Grill them if you want that good sear on them. If not, you can cook them with a little oil in a pan on the stovetop or in the oven. No matter what cooking process you choose, you’ll end up with a really good cheeseburger with melty cheese in every bite.
Guacamole Turkey Burgers with Pepper Jack Cheese
If you like a little bit of spice, you’ll love the slice of pepper jack cheese on top of these Guacamole Turkey Burgers. The bit of heat from the slice of cheese is perfectly balanced by the cool homemade guacamole. We use ground turkey for these because I think tastes the best with the sweet red onion pieces that are added to the meat mixture.
Don’t sleep on ground turkey. Just listen to my best tips to make a great burger using turkey.
First, if you add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture, it gives it a great flavor, similar to beef. Second, ground turkey does have a lower fat content than beef, so you quickly brown each side of the burger to seal in the fat, then finish it in the oven to end up with a really juicy cheeseburger that will convert any beef fan.
Grilled Smash Burgers (with freshly ground beef)
Smash burgers are still so popular because you can get away without forming the perfect burger patty and because you don’t worry about cooking them to someone’s taste. They’re all just cooked through.
When Pete makes smash burgers for our summer cookouts, he uses fresh ground chuck pot roast because of the higher fat content so it makes the best burger, in his opinion.
He adds two slices of cheese on top of the patty after the smash burgers are done cooking. The cheese doesn’t melt that way, so you’re really able to taste the flavor. You can add any other burger toppings you want.
Grilled Taco Burgers
My favorite cheeseburger recipe on this list are these Grilled Taco Burgers.
Ground beef is seasoned with taco seasoning and the burgers are grilled. A slice of sharp cheddar cheese is melted on top of the beef patty.
Then, you add the rest of your favorite toppings for tacos — lettuce, salsa, and sour cream — to complete the cheeseburger.
Bacon And Bleu Stuffed Burger
Sliced cheese is usually the cheese in a cheeseburger. But not this Bacon And Bleu Stuffed Burger. It’s stuffed with bleu cheese (and bacon pieces, of course).
The recipe calls for a stuffed burger press, but you can just make these by hand if you don’t have one.
Jalapeño Cheddar Sliders
Ground chicken is mixed with diced jalapeño peppers and a few other ingredients to form small hamburger patties. The patties are grilled and then topped with cheddar cheese and served on slider rolls.
If you want, you could make larger patties and serve these on full-sized burger buns instead of serving them as sliders.
