It gives you something to do with those hair ties when they’re not in your hair, and so you can assess how many more you can break before having to buy more.
This is a great way to upcycle too, making it a nice Earth Day craft (and since Earth Day is later this month, this is a good time to start thinking about what you can do to save the planet). You’re upcycling beer bottles for this craft. If you don’t drink, you can actually purchase brand new, unused beer bottles. This is what the homebrewers buy to bottle their beer.
Bottle Hair Tie Holders Upcycle Craft Idea
What You’ll Need:
- Hair ties
- Used but clean beer bottles
What You’ll Do:
Put the hair ties on the bottles. The end.
Seriously, it’s that simple.
You can accessories the bottles with fake flowers, stickers, glitter, or anything else you can think of.
Would you make these bottle hair tie holders?

Those are so cute, simple and sweet. But I know my kids would break it :( In a few years when they are older I am totally doing this!
