Alton Brown’s Spinach & Artichoke Dip

spinach-and-artichoke-dipWe had jarred artichoke in the cabinet for a really, really long time. We bought it for pizza and never used it so it was just sitting there.

I decided that I wanted to make spinach and artichoke dip with it. I never made it before, so I looked for a recipe online and found Alton Brown’s spinach and artichoke dip recipe. It had five stars of almost 500 reviews and my dad has made Alton Brown’s pancake recipe … which was amazing.

Plus, this recipe was so incredibly simple. So I went with it.

It calls for frozen artichoke hearts, but I used the jarred one. I’ve actually never seen frozen artichoke before (but I’ve also never looked for it either).

Seriously, that’s it. And it was amazing. I told Pete that we can have a party now since we have a dip to serve.
