I always joke and say there’s a day for everything, but there really is. Not every day gets the full treatment from restaurants, with deals and discounts, but this year, National Strawberry Day is.
And that’s funny to me because this is the first year that I can think of any promotions for National Strawberry Day.
But hey, strawberries are my favorite fruit and I love saving money, so count me in.

National Strawberry Day: Freebies & Deals
All of these deals are happening on February 27th only unless otherwise noted.
We’re only including national and large regional chains on this list. Your local shops may have some fun things planned in celebration of National Strawberry Day, but if we included all of them, this list would be way too long.
Burger Boy
You can get a Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Shake for $1.99 at the San Antonio-based chain all day.
Casey’s
Casey’s rewards members can get a free frozen drink.
This isn’t specific to National Strawberry Day. It happens every Friday and National Strawberry Day happens to fall on a Friday this year.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
Big Yellow Cup rewards members can get a free Miss Ollie’s Secret Strawberry Ice Cream cup with the purchase of any Classic Sandwich or Smoke & Cheddar sandwich placed via the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit app.
Classic sandwiches include Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken Breast, Polish Kielbasa Sausage, Jalapeño Cheddar Kielbasa Sausage, or Crispy Chicken.
Florida Strawberry Festival
The Florida Strawberry Festival, which happens annually in Plant City, runs from February 26 to March 8 at the fairgrounds at 303 BerryFest Place.
Over 650,000 visitors attend the festival in Central Florida. If you want to go, you can get discounted tickets at over 250 Publix grocery stores.
And, on National Strawberry Day itself, guests who bring a Publix- or GreenWise-branded non-perishable food item will receive a $5 discount on a $30 ride wristband.
Ibotta
Get $.05 back on any brand strawberry purchases at a ton of stores (like Walmart, Food Lion, Dollar General, and more) when you submit your receipt via the Ibotta app.
It’s a limit of one redemption per account.
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Bundtastic Rewards members get 100 bonus points with the purchase of any size Strawberries & Cream cake.
Parlor Doughnuts
February 28 is the last day to purchase the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Doughnut.
Smashburger
Rewards members can get a free strawberry shake with a $15+ purchase.
You can redeem it in store by scanning your app at the register or by giving the cashier your phone number. Online, you can go to “Redeem Rewards” and apply it that way.
