DIY Baseball-Shaped Utensil Holders (Made from toilet paper rolls)

I was born in a city with a professional baseball team, so that was a way to ingrain the sport in my family. So, this time of year is pretty fun. And baseball games are a great reason to invite friends over for some snacks. And what better thing to eat your snacks with than these DIY baseball-shaped utensil holders.

I made them one afternoon out of old toilet paper rolls. If you’re planning on having a party, start saving your rolls before your party. And you can start saving paper towel rolls too. You’ll just have to cut them down to an appropriate size.

Flatten the toilet paper roll in half.

Draw a circle in the center of it, cutting off the circle a little bit on each edge.

Carefully cut out the ends, leaving just the circle.

Paint the circle white. Let the paint dry, then paint a second coat.

What you should do is paint the first coat left to right, then the second coat up and down. That will help to hide any brush marks.

Paint the inside and back green. You don’t really have to paint the back, if you’re laying one down at each place setting. But it looks so much more complete if you do paint the back.

Use the small paint brush to paint stripes and laces on the ball.

That’s it. Play ball!
