Whenever the topic of food comes up, I always joke that I should have been born either Mexican or Italian because I love their food. So any excuse for Mexican food is one I grab. Like Cinco de Mayo. Sure, sure. The reason we in the United States celebrate it is sort of blurry. It’s the anniversary of a Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla, but we’re all “Yay sombreros and margaritas.”
