Super Simple Sauteed String Beans

If you're looking for a fresh string beans recipe, check out this Super Simple Sauteed String Beans recipe from www.drugstoredivas.net.You know me and my love for the discount produce section in our local grocery stores. I always head there first. I got a huge bag of fresh string beans there for $1 recently. My go to move is to actually eat them straight out of the bag, but with discount produce, you have to eat it quickly. So I had to come up with a few easy side dishes, thus my super simple sauteed string beans recipe was born.

Super Simple Sauteed String Beans

What You’ll Need:

  • Fresh string beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

What You’ll Do:

Heat the olive oil in a pan.

Chop the onion and cook it in the pan until it starts to get translucent, about ten minutes.

Add the chopped garlic and cook about five minutes.

While that’s cooking, wash the string beans and cut off the ends. Add them to the garlic and onion, and saute until the string beans start to get tender, but still have a bite to them. Add a pinch of salt and saute one minute more.

Serve warm.
