Halloween DIY: Candy Sticks

We live in an apartment complex, but we rarely get trick or treaters. It might have something to do with the fact that we live up four flights of stairs. I wouldn’t want to come all the way up here for one piece of candy either. So I decided to put together Halloween Candy Sticks. They’re so simple. They’re a few pieces of candy glued to a stick. They’re so easy to grab when trick or treaters come to the door, and easy for trick or treaters to grab themselves if you’re not home. And, if that’s the case, they will take one stick if you say take one (as opposed to when there’s a candy bowl and kids take one handful).
I put these together in a couple minutes. The longest thing was waiting for them to dry.
What You’ll Need:
- Candy (I used the M&M Mars Kids Favorites bag)
- Natural wood craft sticks
- Empty pickle jar and tissue paper (that’s what I used to display them. You can use anything you want.)
What You’ll Do:
Add a bit of glue to the stick.
Attach a piece of candy to the glue. Wait for it to dry.
Continue until the bag is empty.
This is seriously so simple and you can do it ahead of time so you’re reading for Halloween.
