Find out how to get ready for Valentine's Date Night from www.drugstoredivas.net.Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Are you excited? I love Valentine’s Day dates. They’re really special to me. I’m not the kind of girl who makes a big deal out of Valentine’s. I don’t expect flowers or chocolate, but I do like to go out for Valentine’s Day. It’s a good excuse to get dressed up and go on a date with your spouse or significant other, and that’s really important. So often, we get so busy with life that we forget to do things like date our spouse. Valentine’s Day is a good reminder to stop and plan date night.

But if you forget to plan date night, do you remember how to get ready for Valentine’s date night? We’ve got some reminders for you in this post.

How To Get Ready For Valentine’s Date Night

Find someone to go on a date with.
Pretty simple, I know, but you have to find someone to go on a date with. Maybe it’s your significant other; maybe it’s your kid; or maybe it’s your mom. These are all dates. So you can easily find someone to go on a Valentine’s date with, even if you’re not in a relationship.

Make a reservation.
Once you figure out who you’re going out with, you’ll be able to decide where you are going to go. If your date doesn’t like fish, don’t choose a seafood restaurant. When you figure out where you want to go, call and make a reservation. You don’t want to show up and not be able to sit, causing you to run around on Valentine’s Day. So the earlier you can book, the better.

Find an outfit.
When you decide where you’re going, you’ll be able to figure out what type of outfit is most appropriate. If you’re going to a fancy restaurant, jeans are probably not the way to go. Even if you’re going to a place where jeans are okay, you might want to wear a dress anyway. I would much rather be overdressed somewhere than underdressed.

Shower.
Valentine’s Day is a Tuesday this year, which means you have to get through a full work or school day before you get to date night. Shower and wash the day off of you. Shower when you get home. Speaking of showering, starting today you can head into Walgreens to save $1 on any ONE (1) participating AXE or Caress product. Click the link here by February 5 to load the coupon to your card and use it by March 5.

You can use it on Axe Black Bodywash for him (with notes of bergamot, rosemary and cedarwood to create a relaxing fragrance experience for the body and mind, which is good in case your man is nervous for date night) or Caress Love Forever Bodywash (with up to 12 hours of long-lasting fragrance, plus — and this is so cool — it has a breakthrough Fragrance Touch Technology that releases bursts of perfume with every touch of your skin) for you.

Get ready.
Doing your hair or make up? Last minute touch up on polish that chipped on your nails? Whatever you need to do to get ready, do it post-shower. This is a good time to spray on some perfume too.

Grab your gift.
If you have a gift for your date, which is not required but always nice, grab it as you’re running out the door. You don’t want to forget it.

What else do you need to do to get ready for Valentine’s date night?
