Review: Renuzit Pearls

Review: Renuzit Pearls

Drugstore Divas received this item for review. All thoughts and opinions belong to Drugstore Divas.

I was so excited to get the new Renuzit Pearls for review. If you know us, you know we’re always burning candles in the apartment. So any sort of “smelly” item, we’re big fans of.

Pete wasn’t home when this box arrived, so I opened it and set it out, completely excited for him to see it when he got home. That excitement faded. Quickly. As soon as I opened it (with my cat nearby), he made a face, backed up, and walked away. No worries. This was made for people, not cats.

A few minutes after setting it in the living room, I started making the same face. The smell was so strong, I had to open the door in the living room in hopes that some of the scent would fade. Not too long after, I started sneezing. The smell was that powerful with the door open. If you live in a mansion, this is probably perfect. But for our 1,100-ish square foot apartment, no.

After a few days, the pearls started evaporating. That’s probably not the right word at all. But when I opened it, the pearls reached the top of the jar. It’s about two-thirds full now (a couple weeks later). The scent is really weak now. I don’t even smell it, unless I’m right on top of it (which honestly, I’m okay with since it smells like a strong soap).

Would I recommend this? Unfortunately, no. I love Renuzit products. We often have one in our front hallway, so this was just a bummer. Can’t get them right all the time.

Victoria’s Secret: Free Tote And Towel With Purchase (Til 6/3)

If you are a Victoria’s Secret Pink member (it’s free to sign up), check your email.

I just got an email with a coupon for a free tote and towel with a $25 Pink purchase. Sounds like Victoria’s Secret is really helping us get beach ready. You do have to show the email in stores to redeem the offer, but you don’t have to print it (which is good because it would be an ink hog). You have until June 3 to redeem the offer and you must be a Pink member to do so.

Are you planning on shopping at Victoria’s Secret and picking this up?
