I just got a message on the Starbucks app about a gift card offer.
The message says:
Tweet a $5 Starbucks eGift to your favorite blogger, your number one follower, your yoga teacher. It’s a fun way to say “you’re awesome..this Starbucks is on me.”
So, how do you do it?
Connect your Starbucks account and Twitter accounts. Tweet a coffee to a friend (if I’m your friend, you can tweet it to me at @drugstoredivas). Then your friend gets a $5 eGift card.
If you are one of the first 100,000 people to use a Visa card to pay (through November 6), you will also get a Starbucks gift card sent to you within 24 hours.
This is awesome.
Right now on Amazon, Downy Ultra April Fresh Liquid Fabric Softener is $5.69 with subscribe and save. Under the photo, there is a coupon for $3 off, which brings this down to $2.69.
What makes this even better, this is a three pack. So each bottle is actually $.89 a bottle. That’s hot.
Prices on Amazon are subject to change at any time, so definitely pick this up now.

Pete and I were in Trader Joe’s the other day and I saw portabella mushrooms. I wanted to pick the up and make an amazing sandwich that I had at a restaurant a few weeks ago.
But when I flipped over the package, there was a recipe for a portabella mushroom Philly cheese “steak” (the recipe called it something else but my name was a little easier).
I figured that was a great idea, so I made them for dinner the other night.
What You’ll Need:
8oz. portabella mushrooms
1 large onion
4 slices of cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
What You’ll Do:
Slice the portabella mushroom.
Slice the onion.
Saute the onions and mushrooms for about 10 minutes (longer if you want them more carmelized).
Toast the bread.
Top the bread with the mushroom and onion mix. Sprinkle salt and pepper, to taste. Top with two piece of cheese. At this point, you can retoast the sandwich if you want to melt the cheese a little more.
What are your Halloween plans? Get a bunch of candy and try to put the kids to bed when they’re on a sugar high?
Jamba Juice is trying to make your kids’ Halloween a little healthier by offering free smoothies from 2pm to 7pm today (October 31) at participating locations.
There is no coupon required, however the child must be 8 or younger to get the free 9.5oz Jamba Kids, the child must be present, and there is a limit of four per party.
It’s so hard to eat on Halloween. You are getting the kids home from school, dressing them up, meeting friends and family, and then heading out trick or treating.
And somewhere you’re supposed to cook dinner?
Nah. Just have Carrabba’s do it.
To celebrate Halloween, you can get $5 pizzas at Carrabba’s. For an extra $5, you can get an Italian salad for two.
We went to Carrabba’s for the first time the other night for the First Tastes menu. We definitely enjoyed it. We didn’t have the pizza though. If you did, let me know how it was.
