Walgreens: My Shopping Trip (Saved 40%)

Walgreens: My Shopping Trip (Saved 40%)

cottonelleTwenty-five cents a roll is my stock up price for toilet paper. I absolutely refuse to pay any more for something that I’m literally flushing down the toilet.

So when I can get it for a quarter, you better believe I’m stocking up. And you can get Cottonelle for that at Walgreens. And that’s exactly what I did.

I Got …
$5 — Cottonelle, 12 pack
$5 — Cottonelle, 12 pack
Total: $10

Coupons:
$1 — Cottonelle coupon (Wags monthly book)
$1 — Cottonelle coupon (Wags monthly book)
Total: $8

I got back $2 in RR, so I paid $6 for 24 rolls, or $.25 each.

The register rewards deal, going on until September 8, is buy two packs, get $2, but three, get $3.

CVS: Summer Clearance Is 75% Off

CVS: Summer Clearance Is 75% Off

cvs clearanceI was in CVS today and wanted to check out the clearance section. My friend Kim told me that her store had summer clearance for 75% off last week, so I wanted to check my store (since last I saw it was 30%).

Lucky for me, it was marked down to 75% off.

There wasn’t much that I wanted (besides those sponges from earlier today that I impulse bought). There were tablecloths and oversized spoons and some weird little dolls that I would have never imagined would be for sale anywhere.

There were also sunglasses marked down to $5.

Have you seen anything on clearance?

blogger boot camp

A new month is starting, which means a new month of Blogger Boot Camp. If you want to enroll, read below to find out how.

Drugstore Divas started as a hobby, something I did because I was unemployed and spending way too much time buying toothpaste in CVS.

I was telling everyone I knew how to get free shampoo, and people stopped listening. No one cared about my free Gold Emblem sparking water. So I decided to tell the Internet. And posting a deal here and there turned into my full time job.

Drugstore Divas is what I do. It’s how I pay my bills, pay my rent, pay for my inexpensive groceries. Seriously inexpensive. My fiance and I have a $40 a week budget for groceries and house items, like stamps and wall hangings. We use about 25% of it on average.

I know so many people who want to blog for a living and who spend so much time on their blogs. But there’s more than just writing good content. If you write good content but have no traffic, you’re just talking to yourself. And if you’re the only one reading your blog, you’re not making any money off it. And if you want to blog full time, you need to make money.

That’s where Drugstore Divas’ Blogging Boot Camp comes in. Blogging Boot Camp is an intense overhaul of your blog, everything from what you post above the fold to how you engage your readers on Facebook. This is a service that I offer for $200 a month on a one-on-one setting. There is also a group setting, which is very group oriented and a bit easier on the wallet.

If you join, you get access to the Blogger Boot Camp Facebook group, the lessons and conversations there, and you get top priority to me answering your messages.

The fees are as follows:

$15 — One month of Blogger Boot Camp

$10 and posting of the Blogger Boot Camp button on your home page — One month of Blogger Boot Camp

$200 — One-on-one intense Blogger Boot Camp (access to the group and my one-on-one training)

We are also running a special. If you bring a buddy, you will get 50% off your Boot Camp tuition. If you bring two buddies, your tuition will be free for the month.

We reserve the right to deny anyone from Blogger Boot Camp.

For more information, email me at drugstoredivalisa(at)gmail.com. Can’t wait to start working out your blogs.

Harris Teeter: Summer Clearance (Balls For $.70, Bubbles Only $.25)

Harris Teeter: Summer Clearance (Balls For $.70, Bubbles Only $.25)

ballsI went to Harris Teeter to pick up milk (because it’s $2.99 a gallon … on sale from $3.99) and there is a ton of summer clearance for 75% off.

Bouncing balls in various colors were $.70; bubbles were $.25. There were also pool noodles and more. I was looking for sand sets and didn’t see any of those at my store, so I was kinda bummed.

Speaking of, does anyone know where I can get sand sets on clearance right now?
