A few few ago I purchased Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream during a CVS sale. This is my first American BB Cream because I’ve used several Asian brands. I’ve read several reviews on American BB Creams and learned that they are nothing more than tinted moisturizers with SPF. In the past, I’ve had really good luck with Revlon products and again I got a really good deal so I thought it was worth the try!
I’m glad I purchased this BB cream because it works great at evening out my skin tone and gives just enough coverage to feel presentable to walk out the door. Of course, add mascara and blush to complete your look.
During the summer, I do not want to wear a full coverage foundation because my face will probably breakout with the high temperatures. I think this Revlon’s BB Cream lets my skin breath.
Something else that I really appreciate about this product is that it does not settle into my fine lines. Some products sit on your skin all day and might even feel like you are wearing a mask. You will not get that feeling with this BB Cream.
Since it’s not a full coverage foundation I do suggest you use a setting powder to prolong the wear time. Revlon also released Nearly Naked Pressed Powder that is AMAZING but that’s a post for another time. The weather has been on the 80’s for the last few days and I been wearing this combination everyday.
I will compare it a little bit to my Skin 79 Asian BB Cream. Skin 79 does adjust to my skin tone after a few minutes and Revlon’s BB Cream is true to color and does not adjust or oxide on my skin. Revlon’s BB Cream is very blendable (I’ve used my fingers & Real Techniques buffing brush to apply both BB Creams) while Skin 79 is thicker and harder to spread across your face. I think Skin 79 stays on the light side and does not work during the summer as mush as it does during the winter for me.
