Giveaway: $25 Cumberland Farms Gift Card (& SmartPay CheckLink Info) — Ends 3/7

cumberland farmsGas is so incredibly expensive. And right now, it seems to be on the incline. Every time I go out, I pass two gas stations. And the prices are just creeping up.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could save every time at the gas station, no matter what?

At Cumberland Farms, you can. The company rolled out a new program called SmartPay Check-Link.

Here’s how SmartPay Check-Link works:
-Register for free at to link to your checking account.
– Then either download the SmartPay app for free to your iPhone or Android phone(or you can pick up a physical SmartPay card at participating Cumberland Farms/Gulf locations) if you don’t want the app
– To fill up your tank, simply enter your pump number into the mobile app, which will automatically turn on the pump and withdraw the appropriate amount from your checking account. No cash, coins, or credit cards needed.
– You’ll save 10 cents on every gallon of gas every time you use SmartPay, and the app even includes a rolling-dial display showing your lifetime savings.

This is great. You never have to worry about not having enough money in your wallet. Since it automatically debits, as long as your checking account has money, you’re good.

And there’s not much that is better than that guaranteed 10 cent per gallon savings. Check out that link above for more details.

And for more savings, well, get excited. One lucky Drugstore Divas reader is going to win a $25 gift card to Cumberland Farms. This giveaway starts now and ends on March 6 at 11:59pm EST. You must be a US resident, aged 18 or older to enter. The winner will be contacted via the email in the Rafflecopter and will have 24 hours to respond before another winner may be selected.

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide: Redbubble

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide: Redbubble

redbubble1Valentine’s Day is all about being cute, being in love, celebrating romance.

But what if you’re single? What do you do? Celebrate anti-Valentine’s Day, of course. My friends and I did it my junior year of high school. No one had a date so we all had pizza and an ice cream cake in my basement and one girl bought every gifts. It was awesome.

If you’re single, be proud because sometimes, it’s not you, it’s me doesn’t apply. Sometimes, it is you, not me.

Redbubble is an online company that sells a ton of humorous t-shirts, iPhone cases, and more, including ones that are absolutely appropriate for anti-Valentine’s Day.

That SINGLE shirt? Perfect. Wear it loud and proud.

Unless you’re me, and February marked your first engaged Valentine’s Day. In that case, shirts that read, “I’m not with stupid anymore” don’t apply. I’m not celebrating anti-Valentine’s Day anymore; from now on, it’s Valentine’s Day every year.

So when i was looking on Redbubble, I was checking out shirts with the meaning of love printed on them. I found two that I absolutely fell in love with.

The first was this “Owl Love You” shirt in a girly fit, white, size small for myself. I love owls and everything adorable, so it was perfect. The second was the “Still Love My Mixtapes” shirt in a t-shirt, grey, size small for Pete. He still drives a car with a cassette deck — and has his glove compartment filled with mix tapes.

If you head over to Redbubble, you’ll see that there are over 9 million skews, and you can choose the fit, color, and size of the t-shirts to be printed on. It’s a bit of a customized shirt that way, which is great. You can get the print you like on the style you like. It’s a little overwhelming to search because there are so many designs to choose from. There is a search bar up top and you can type in keywords to help you find designs.

On the home page, there are also Redbubble’s picks for the last few days. You can choose “show more” to see even more designs highlighted by the site. There’s also a featured designer on the page as well. Have you ever wanted to be a designer? You can now. You can sign up at Redbubble for free and organize your portfolio. All the details about that are here.

The shirts are printed on American Apparel tees, which are really nice quality. The fabric is soft and lightweight, but not thin. Pete loved his shirt, but he did comment that the shirt was a smaller cut than the other American Apparel printed shirts that he owns. It still fits, but it has a little less give than his other shirts.

What I liked was that each shirt comes with a small fabric tag clothes pinned to it. It has the name of the shirt and a little text about the site on it. I liked this a lot better than traditional shirt tags. Just made it stand out a little bit … just like you’ll stand out in your shirts.

Head over to the site and check out the designs, then let me know your fave.

Drugstore Divas received these shirts for review from Redbubble. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
