Rosetta Stone: Get A FREE Demo

Rosetta Stone: Get A FREE Demo

rosetta stoneFor as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to learn Japanese.

My grandma is Japanese, although she’s lived in America for 56 years and speaks English, I still think it would be cool to be able to speak Japanese.

I’ve thought about getting Rosetta Stone a bunch of times, but it’s a $500 investment that I just can’t afford.

I can, however, afford a free demo. I mean, it’s free. Right now, you can get a free demo of Rosetta Stone in any language you choose. Just click that link, select your language, and you’re good to go.

I’m excited. Maybe I’ll learn Japanese after all.

What language will you learn?

Holiday Gift Guide: Pear Tree Greetings Review & Giveaway [[Ends 12/01]]

Holiday Gift Guide: Pear Tree Greetings Review & Giveaway [[Ends 12/01]]

The holiday season is all about giving. It makes you feel all nice and warm and fuzzy inside when you find that perfect gift, give it to your loved one, and you see their face light up in excitement.

But, if you’re not around, sometimes you pass your gift along to a friend or family member to give to another friend or family member. The person opens it, passes along a “tell them thanks for me” and that’s it.

I really think, in this season, we tend to forget our thank yous. And I really just want to take a moment, and a post, to change that and to hint that when you are making your Christmas cards, think about making thank you ones too.

That’s what I did at Pear Tree Greetings.

I found these really adorable striped cards that I could personalize. You could write happy holidays on them if you’re still looking for holiday cards, but I wrote thank you on them. They’re festive because they do have red and green in them, but they’re colorful enough that if we don’t use them all at Christmas, we can use them during the rest of the year and they won’t look out of place.

The only trouble with them is that they are notelettes, which, I didn’t realize until after I received my order, are very small. They are for sure very adorable, but they are exactly the size of my very feminine and dainty palm. So, just keep that in mind when you’re ordering.

The site is actually really good in that it will show you the dimensions and block them off at an 8×11 example so you know what you’re getting, if you pay attention.

Pear Tree Greetings does have full sized cards and you can personalize them individually or as a group. You can order cards for all the winter holidays, gift tags, and more.

And one lucky reader will get to do just that. Yup, someone is going to win a $40 credit to use on holiday products at Pear Tree Greetings. This is going to be a fast giveaway since you need to design these and have them in time for the holidays. It will start now and end at 11:59pm EST on December 1. You must be 18+ to enter. Winners will be emailed via the address left in the Rafflecopter and will have 24 hours to respond before another winner may be selected.

Just use the Rafflecopter below to enter.

Good luck.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Lowes Foods: FREE Country Crock

Lowes Foods: FREE Country Crock

country crockI stopped by Lowes Foods tonight to pick up a few things. We ended up with $45 worth of groceries for $10, and that included $2 for Pete’s beer, so I was happy.

I didn’t print the 70¢ off when you buy any Country Crock® Spread coupon because I wanted to check the price before I used any ink.

Turns out, Country Crock is only $1.95 for the four stick packs. After the $.70 coupon triples, these will be free. The coupon will only triple to the value of the item, so you won’t get overage but you will get free fake butter.

I’m printing my coupons and heading back soon.

The Deal:
Purchase:
$1.95 — Country Crock 4-stick pack

Coupons:
$1.95 — 70¢ off when you buy any Country Crock® Spread coupon, tripled

Total after coupons: $0, for a total savings of 100%.

And, small aside, you can actually freeze this so if you print multiple coupons, just freeze whatever you won’t use right away. That’s what we do.

Tiny Prints: 35% Off Personalized Mugs [[Til 2:59am ET]]

Tiny Prints: 35% Off Personalized Mugs [[Til 2:59am ET]]

tiny printsI made Pete a personalized mug for Valentine’s Day this year and I just love it. It’s so cute, so adorable, so perfect for him to drink his coffee out of. I was just so happy with how it came out, so I was excited to tell you that between now and 2:59am ET, you get 35% off personalized mugs at Tiny Prints. Just click that link, make your mug, and enter the code CYBER1129 at checkout.

I was going to tell you that you should make a mug with photos because that’s what I did … and then I actually saw the examples from Tiny Prints. Look how cute that mug with a K is. Those would be perfect bridal shower gifts. Make a pair with the first initial of the groom’s last name. So flipping cute.

It makes me wish my engagement party wasn’t last week because I would hope that someone would have given us a pair. Plus, Pete’s last name starts with an L and obviously my first name starts with an L, so I could use it already.
