I went to Starbucks inside A&P because I had to go there for lotto tickets ... and I was kinda wondering if non-free standing Starbucks were participating in the sample.
Turns out, they were.
I acted all surprised when the barista was talking about the new flavors and pouring me a shot glass of the Blonde blend, so I couldn't snap pictures like I wanted to.But, nevertheless, I did get my free sample [[she only offered me one, not the three variants that were available but that's okay]]. When I said I really liked the Blonde -- which I did, actually; it was so light and sweet and not bitter like coffee tends to be -- she tried to get me to buy a bag of beans for $11.95.
I said I'd think about it, so she offered me a sample bag, which looks like it can actually brew quite a bit. She had coupons, but said she was only handing those out to people who were actually buying the coffee, not people who were sitting on the fence.
Okay, I ad libbed that last part there.
I really did like this brew, though, so if you happen to be passing Starbucks this weekend, make it a point to stop in and try some.
