Recall: Tylenol 8-Hour Caplets

ABC News is reporting here that Tylenol is recalling one lot [[34,000 150-count bottles]] of Tylenol 8-Hour Extended Release Caplets.

Apparently, they smell bad.

No, really, they're being recalled because of a musty/moldy smell.

This was apparently also recalled in October, and I can find info about that on Tylenol's website here, but no info on returning the current recalled batch.

Saturday Sample: Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion

When I begin teaching people about couponing, I always tell them, "You can be brand loyal." Your favorite brand of toothpaste doesn't always go on sale, so you have to learn to be open to the opportunity of trying a different brand. If not, couponing probably isn't for you.

However, I'm very particular about the lotion I use.

My skin is super sensitive, and I've product tested [[under clinical trials]] products that have given me rashes. I've also product tested [[under personal trials]] lotions that gave me what I've called hand herpes. It's actually athlete's foot of the hand, and my skin was so dry and blistered, it was awful.

So, couponing or not, I'm very careful about my lotions.

I was approached by Skin MD Natural to see if I wanted to test the shielding lotion. The product, I was told, was all natural, so that made me less hesitant. Anything that wasn't chock full of chemicals had a better chance of leaving my skin blisterless. Also, I was told the product is made in the US using solar-power energy, it isn't tested on amimals and contains no animal ingredients [[so it's cruelty-free and it's also vegan]]. So okay, I decided to give it a try.

The first time I used it, I noticed how smooth it was. Most lotions linger. You know what I mean. You put them on and you're rubbing and rubbing, trying to get your skin to absorb it. With this, I didn't have to try to penetrate my skin. I put it on, rubbed my hands together, and that was a wrap. It was absorbed. So, being that I was less aggressive, the lotion didn't have the opportunity to be abrasive, so it left my skin soft, rather that like a battleground.

The lotion also never gave me a greasy feeling, and it never dried my hands out either. Somehow it found this perfect balance where I felt like I had lotion, but nothing excessive that made me cower from shaking hands with people.

I was actually really impressed with it. The sample bottle I used has come and gone, and my hands never broke out at all. There are very few brands I can say that about, so if you've got sensitive skin, this is definitely made with you in mind.
