Mail In Rebate: Bounce Bar

There's been a lot of buzz about the Bounce Bar rebate today since it ends today [[February 28]]. I've gotten email about scenarios and all, so I went to check it out myself.

Well, here's the thing. The rebate form [[found here]] says that it's $5 off a 3-month or 4-month refill, bought at participating retailers.

I called and the participating retailers are the P&G estore, Amazon, drugstore.com, or soap.com. These run about $7.99 after ecoupon [[at the P&G store]], so you're really looking at $2.99 for the refill. It's not bad, but it's not the "free" that everyone is looking at.

So, heed my warning: DO NOT run out to make a special trip just to pick this up ... especially since you have to buy it in front of your computer anyway. If you DO shop online and get this, the rebate is a limit of two.

Diva Dialogue: Did you get in on this?

Swagbucks: Code In The Swidget [[Til 2 PM]]

In case you forgot, today [[February 28]] Swagbucks is celebrating its third birthday.

To celebrate, there was a code in the blog. Apparently, the blog isn't working, so my good friend Maria let me know that the code is now in the swidget [[which is on the right side of this blog under "sites we like".]] The code is good for 11 and good until 2pm, EST.

Hurry and enter the code.

If you haven't signed up, you'll have to head to this link, register, then log in and enter the code under your name [[on the right side]]. You'll see what I mean when you register.

Swagbucks: Happy Birthday

In case you forgot, today [[February 28]] Swagbucks is celebrating its third birthday. Last year, Swagbucks revamped its site with a new layout and made each code ten times what it's worth [[the prizes also went ten times the cost]].

When you search on Swagbucks' birthday, you tend to earn a lot more in random searches.

We've told you about Swagbucks a lot before. And I even got an iTouch for free [[basically]] thanks to the Amazon gift cards I've won. In case you haven't signed up yet, head to this link and register. Then turn your Swagbucks into gift cards and other prizes. You basically get "paid" to search the Internet. Sounds good to me.

Today is gonna be the best day to sign up because there will be birthday codes all day long, so it'll be easy to accumulate bucks. There's a swidget in our sidebar [[under sites we like]] that you should check out often to see if there's a code. Happy swagging.

Kmart, Stop & Shop, Waldbaums: I Love Lucy

Oh my goodness. I just got back from a lovely weekend away and I come back to a lovely email from super reader Lucy. It's chock full of such incredible information that a cut and paste is definitely necessary.

Lucy said: My kmart is doubling this week.

She also said: And there were $1 doublers in the Stop and Shop circular.

And the trifecta: My waldbaums circular also has a 5 percent off for seniors this Tuesday. I know they are owned by A&P so it's worth a look.

Wow Lucy! What great finds!

IHOP: Feeding The Kiddies [[And More]]

IHOP just sent me a very informative email. Then again, anything you tell me about IHOP would be news to me. Aside from the fact that my brother likes to go there for his birthday, I really don't know much about the pancake house.

Now, I know three things.

According to this email, the pancake giant is giving away three free buttermilk pancakes if you fill out a survey on the bottom of your receipt. Nice.

Also a new fact to me: Kids eat free after 4 pm. Sounds like breakfast for dinner is in order.

And, on March 1, you can get a free stack of pancakes -- and a donation to the Children's Miracle Network is appreciated.

Diva Dialogue: Do you have any other facts about IHOP?

Sunday Coupon Preview [[02/27/2011]]

The inserts have been so back and forth lately, I can't keep track. Last week was no Smart Source. This week is no Red Plum. Next week is no P&G. Can't we get a week with everything so the paper is worth my money?

According to Sunday Coupon Preview there will be a Red Plum this week. That's all. So I'm not too sad to miss it [[although I am hoping there's a comp newspaper at the hotel]].

Diva Dialogue: What are you doing this weekend?

CVS: Valentine's Clearance, Round 3

Valentine's Day is long over -- according to stores, but at least.

Even at CVS.

Following CVS' clearance schedule, today [[February 27]], the second Sunday after the holiday, everything should be 90% off. Next Sunday, well, shop will be closed. So get what you can now.

This is also a good time to start scanning various seasonal items [[like ice scrapers and the like]]. These might be on sale too, just not marked.

Diva Dialogue: Is there a lot of clearance stuff at your stores?

Saturday Sample: Green Giant Joins Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers has revamped their entire points program. Now they have a points plus system. The basis of Weight Watchers is the same, every food has a points value. I did Weight Watchers when I got married almost five years ago with success. I just got the new Points Plus calculator to try and shed a few more pounds.

I love the foods like Smart Ones and the Weight Watchers that have the points clearly labeled on the packaging. And now I love the new Green Giant foods that have the points marked right on them. There are now 29 varieties of Green Giant frozen vegetables that have just one or two points value.

Thanks to our friends at MyBlogSpark I was able to sample the broccoli with cheese sauce. Yum! I love the cheese. I am not the biggest fan of broccoli but I can eat it and smothered in cheese I love it! The cheese sauce made me feel like I was not even eating vegetables.

MyBlogSpark sent me the Green Giant vegetables, insulated tote bag, serving bowl, an awesome green silicone spoon, and pedometer. My husband loves the bowl. It is huge and perfect for his salad, my mom saw the tote bag and had to have it. But I got to keep the spoon and the pedometer, which I have been faithfully using.

Anyone else need a great gift pack like this? Stay tuned for tomorrow.

Full Disclosure: MyBlogSpark, in conjunction with Green Giant, sent this sample for review. All thoughts and words are our own.

Aerie: Good Deal Alert -- 25% Off Bras And Tops

Aerie sent me an email to let me know that select bras and tops are 25% off. The top in the photo in the email is see through and gorgeous -- which makes it pretty impractical, but nice nevertheless.

Magazines.com: Good Deal Alert -- $5 Off

Magazines are something I refuse to pay for. I get so many for free as it is, there's absolutely no way I could ever justify paying for them. But, if you're dying for one, well, I've got a way to get it a little cheaper, thanks to Magazine.com's newest code.

First, sign into your eBates account because you'll get 26% back in your account -- plus $5 for signing up, if you're a new member. Then, at checkout, enter wintermags and you'll save $5 on select titles between now and February 28. Hopefully you get a great deal.

Diva Dialogue: Do you pay for magazines?

Chick-Fil-A: Happy FryDay

I just got an email from Chick-Fil-A, letting me know that March 4 is Free FryDay.

Awesome.

That Friday, from 2 pm to 4 pm, you can get a free medium order of waffle fries when you mention you're there to try the new Heinz Dip & Squeeze.

Don't worry, we'll be sure to remind you about this that FryDay.

Diva Dialogue: Are you going to mark this on your calendar?

CVS: I Went Shopping

This trip is a few days old, but I just didn't get a chance to post i. I've been running around here and there and haven't been able to spend much time in front of the computer, except on my lunch break at work. But nevertheless, here's my CVS shopping trip.

I bought ...

$.75 -- Cadbury mini eggs [[my favorite thing in the world]]
$.99 -- Jelly beans
$.99 -- M&Ms [[yes, on Valentine's 75% off clearance, even though they're not holiday packaging]]
$.99 -- M&Ms
$2.99 -- EOS lipbalm
$.25 -- Vday marshmallows for my Gma
Total: $6.96

Coupons:
$1/2 M&Ms tearpad

Total after coupons: $5.96

I got back: $.75 for the mini eggs; $.99 for the jelly beans; $2.99 for the lipbalm = $4.73

So, I spent a bit over $1 [[an ecb, of course]] but I made a lot of people happy, so that's good for me.

Eversave: Pixable PocketPix

Oh my gosh, I just found my new favorite thing.

Right now, the Eversave deal in New York City is a PocketPix book from Pixable for only $5. These usually run you $13.

What are they? They're photo flip books. But the best part is that you can use your Facebook photos -- and Facebook photos of your friends, so you don't even have to upload any photos to the site. You can also use photos from Flickr, Photobucket, or your own computer. You can make virtual flipbooks, or get an actual one sent to you.

This one [[which is 14 pages and holds 28 photos]] will only cost you $5 -- and shipping is free.

Plus if you sign up here as a new member, you get a $2 credit. So now you're looking at only $3 for this book.

But it gets better.

Enter the code REDEEMIO [[if you're a new member or not]] and you'll get another $2 off. Now it's only $1!! What an incredible deal!

You can buy up to two of these and they don't expire until January 31, 2012. So buy them now and hang onto them. Think Christmas!

Diva Dialogue: Have you made one of these?

Redbox: Free Movie Rental [[Tonight Only]]

I told you about this yesterday, but I figured you might want a reminder.

If you "like" Redbox on Facebook, you can click the FREEBIE tab and get a code for a free movie rental, good today [[February 24]] only.

I'm definitely getting a girlie movie and watching it in my pjs tonight -- before Jersey Shore of course.

While you're on Facebook, don't forget to head to our Facebook page and "like" us. For every 500 likes, we'll have a contest.

Diva Dialogue: What movie are you renting?

ShopRite: I Went Shopping

Here's the thing: Dollar Days at ShopRite has me all sorts of confused, so I only did one half of my trip before getting discouraged and leaving. I'll be back tonight, but for now, I wanted to show you what I did do.

I got ...

$4.95 -- 5 Kashi cereal bowls

Coupons:
$.40 off from Cellfire

Total: $4.55

I got back four $3 catalinas for buying five Kashi products. Thing is, I thought I could use the catalinas right away, so I was going to use them to do another Dollar Days deal. But no, turns out they're only good one per week -- starting in two weeks [[when Dollar Days are over]]. Ugh, that's a headache. Also, Dollar Deals are only good one per card, so you can't do multiple deals and stock up.

Walgreens: Day Five Of Photo Deals

Walgreens is having a week's worth of photo deals. They'll go through February 26. Here's the list:

Sunday: 2 for $2 enlargements.

Monday: $1.99 5x7 easel print.

Tuesday: $2.99 for an 11x14 collage poster.

Wednesday: FREE 8x10 collage print

Thursday: TBA

Friday: TBA

Saturday: TBA.

Coupon Alert: Glade Plugins Scented Oil Lasting Impressions Holder

My grandma really likes the Glade Sense and Spray, which is dangerous because it seems like Glade is trying to phase it out to push the Plugins Scented Oil Lasting Impressions line.

If you like the latter better, you're in luck. Head over to this link and you can print a $3 off coupon.

Borders: Paramus Store Closing

The economy is tanking.

Now, okay, granted I live in a very affluent area and everything is very expensive. But, that means the people in the area are affluent, and should be able to afford things.

But I guess not because everything seems to be closing.

First there was the first Rite Aid casualty. Then PathMark went. Then the second Rite Aid was gone.

And now Borders in Paramus, New Jersey is closing.

The store's closing sale started President's Day weekend and it'll all be on sale until the store [[which I'm pretty sure is the Paramus Park location]] is gone. So hurry and get your savings.

Diva Dialogue: Are the Borders around you closing?

Which is why you should take advantage of these offers when we post, then use them whenever you want.

Right now, you can head over to Restaurant.com and get a $25 gift card for $3 when you enter the code DINE by February 28. Shop through eBates and you'll get 15% back in your account -- and $5 for signing up if you're a new member.

Redbox: Free Movie Night [[Tomorrow Only]]

I'm home alone this week [[everyone but me is on vaca]]. The upside of that is that I have the TV all to myself. And if I want to rent a cheesy movie, well, there's no one to tell me no.

And perfect timing too. If you "like" Redbox on Facebook, you can click the FREEBIE tab and get a code for a free movie rental, good tomorrow [[February 24]] only.

I'm definitely getting a girlie movie and watching it in my pjs tomorrow night -- before Jersey Shore of course.

Barnes & Noble: Free Coffee And A Chat

I remember when I first moved to Pennsylvania, I was dying for things to do and friends to have. I didn't know anyone, so I spent a ton of time reading biographies and listening to talk radio, just so I felt like I had some human interaction.

Maybe you're feeling that way right now. If you are, definitely head down to Barnes & Noble this weekend.

If you let someone give you a "guided tour" of the new Nook on Saturday [[February 26]], you'll get a free cup of coffee, according to this.

Maybe you don't care about the Nook Color or maybe you just want a friend or a hot cup o'Joe. Either way, this might be worth your trip. Don't worry, we'll remind you on Saturday.
