Walgreens: Free Collage, Not College

I'm still not a fan of Facebook. Yes, I'm sitting on it right now, iming my friend, but honestly, I'm not crazy about it.

But when it starts pushing deals at me, I can't not be crazy about it.

I mean, I'm iming, minding my own business, when I see an ad on the right side for a free photo collage from Walgreens. Okay Facebook, you win. You got me.

So I went over to Walgreens' Facebook page and I found out that today [[September 30]] and tomorrow [[October 1]] only, you can get a free 8x10 collage print if you "like" Walgreens.

When you do, you'll get a code [[hint, hint: it's FBCOLL]] and you can create your free 8x10. Choose in store pickup and you won't even pay for shipping.

Walgreens: Spirit of Savings

Who wouldn't love to win a Walgreens gift card? Well if you head over here you can enter the Spirit of Savings everyday until October 30.

Enter your email address and your info. You may be an instant winner or you will get to play the game. You need to use a candy corn to scratch off a full moon. If you get three of the same symobls, you win a Walgreens gift card worth anywhere from $5 to $1,000! It's really a cute game.

UPDATE: Free Sample: Aleve

Wow this was a hot freebie. It's all out. It must be that time of year.

You don't need a Sam's membership for this free sample. But thanks to Sam's Club for the free sample of Aleve.

Visit here and enter your info. Your Aleve free sample will arrive in four to six weeks.

Michael's: Welcome To The Family

The first time I decorated my apartment for Halloween, I hung trick or treat bags in the windows. I know, it was pretty low-budget, but I just didn't have the extra money.

A little help your local Michael's, and you won't have to do the same this year.

Today [[September 30]] through Saturday, October 2, you can use this coupon to save 20% off your total.

Sounds like a good time to buy -- or make -- some Halloween decorations.

Coupon Alert: Tic Tac

September is National Coupon Month, and in order to celebrate, RedPlum is having a daily deal and calling it the "Dash For Deals" event. Sometimes it'll be free samples, sometimes coupons, other times a product sample.

Today [[September 30]] it's $1 off a pack of Tic Tacs. You know that's gonna net you some free Tic Tacs somewhere.

Just head over to this link to get in on the deal. All deals start at midnight, eastern standard time, and run through one full day.

And every day this month, we'll bring you the deal.

So get used to this post. You'll be seeing it quite a bit. But hey, at least there are only 30 days in September.

Walgreens: Wet 'n Wild 'n Cheap

Wet 'N Wild cosmetics are all 50% off at Walgreens this week [[ending 10/02]]. If you still have that $5 off $10 Wet 'N Wild coupon from the All You magazine you are getting a great deal.

See, here's the deal:

Take $20 worth of makeup to the counter. It'll ring up $10 since it's all half off. Hand over your $5/$10 coupon, and now you're looking at $20 worth of makeup for just $5 after the Walgreens sale and coupon. I don't know about you but I am loving these makeup deals lately.

Coldstone Creamery: Ice Cream Social Day Is Here

This may look very familiar because we brought it up a few weeks back. But we also promised a reminder, so here it is.

I am a dessert fiend. Any excuse to eat sweets, and I'm in. I'm not the size of a hippo [[ah, tell me Jersey Shore isn't a fantastic show]]. I eat in moderation. But I haven't really ever met a sweet I didn't like.

And ice cream, yup, I'm a fan.

Especially ice cream for a good cause.

Today [[September 30]], between 5 pm and 8 pm, Coldstone Creamery is having it annual Make a Wish ice cream social.

For a mere donation to Make a Wish, you can get a free 3 oz. sample of Kate's Creation served out of a ready to love pan in a Like It cup. That's caramel apple ice cream mixed with chocolate shavings, grapham cracker pie crust, and apple pie filling.

If that's not your flavor, or if you're busy during that time, you can buy a paper star for $1. Those proceeds will also be donated to Make A Wish.

Coupon Alert: Scrubbing Bubbles

I got an email from Right@Home letting me know that there are brand new Scrubbing Bubbles coupons to print. You can get $3.00 off any Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer starter and $1.00 off any Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer refill.

Head over to this link, register for Right@Home, and you'll be able to print the coupons too.

Blockbuster Express: New Rental Code

Jasmine of Healthy Living on Less emailed me to let me know that there's a new Blockbuster Express code out, good until midnight tonight [[September 29]].

I'm partial to Redbox myself, but, hey. If you like Blockbuster, head over to a kiosk today, enter the code WDVD2 and you'll be able to rent one and get one free. Two for the rental price of one is pretty great.

Now what to watch?

Free Samples: National Coffee Day Celebration

Today [[September 29]] is National Coffee Day. So of course, there are a couple coffee retailers that are celebrating the holiday.

If you head over to Dunkin Donuts' Facebook page, you can enter to win Dunkin's biggest fan contest. The grand prize is a trip for two to Costa Rica.

There are also rumors that certain DD locations in Rhode Island are giving out free coffee today.

Also, according to MoneyTalksNews:
Regional coffee chains like Barnie’s in the Southeast and Lamar’s Donuts in the Midwest are offering free coffee.
Local coffee shops are getting involved, from the Bohemian Coffeehouse in Melrose, Massachusetts (one free cup) to Bennett’s in Naples, Florida (“two popular and expensive roasts at discounted prices”) to Java Cafe outside Fort Hood in Texas (“drinks 50 percent off…enter to win an Espresso Machine”).
So, at least, there's a little freebie for you.

Free Food: Haas Avocado

I love avocados. Absolutely love them.

Guacamole? Love it.

Avocado and bacon? Love it.

Free avocado? You got it ... I love that too. And yes, there's such a thing. It's hard to find coupons for free produce, but it's possible, and this is when I tell people that coupons aren't soley for processed items.

If you head over to this link you can print out a coupon for a free Haas avocado.

Sounds like a free lunch to me.

Waldbaums, A&P: Good Deal Alert -- Halls

We let you know about a Halls coupon that's a the front of most CVS stores. And now Rite Aids too, I've seen.

The lovely Lucy [[our fantastic reader who told us about the Tide deal]] let us know a great use for these coupons. She said at Waldbaums, Halls are on sale for 99 cents. So free [[and maybe overage]] after the coupon.

She told me to check A&P because they're sister stores, so I did, and guess what: 99 cents there too through Thursday [[September 30]].

My dad goes through Halls like you wouldn't believe, so this is an incredible find. Thanks Lucy!

Free Magazine: Cooking Club Of America

I took a cooking class about two and a half weeks ago. It was fantastic. I learned so much ... mostly because I don't know much about cooking to begin with. I don't think I can afford to take a cooking class every month [[the one I went to, though incredible, was a bit pricey]]. So, I'm gonna resort to a cheaper option: a free magazine.

If you head over to this link you can get a free issue of Cooking Club of America magazine.

Like most magazines, they're gonna try to enroll you after, so just write cancel on the bill and keep your free magazine. Hopefully the issue we get comes chock full of recipes that are delicious.

Mohegan Sun: Swipe & Win

If you have a players club card for Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, you will want to pencil in some time to visit them in September.

Every week in September, on either Wednesday or Thursday, you can visit Mohegan Sun Casino and swipe your players club card to instantly win either free slot play or great prizes. Grand Prize is $10,000, additional prizes include 22” LCD HD TV, Mini Notebook Computers, Digital Camcorders, Digital Cameras, $100 MSPD gift cards, up to $1,000 Free Slot Play and five $1,000 Cash winners!

Table games are now open too! Hoped you like this post. This is the last week of the month, so this is the last time you'll see it.

Rite Aid: Low Tide

I got a fantastic email today from lovely reader Lucy.

Lucy was headed to Rite Aid to get in on the great Tide deal we told you about. But she trumped us and found an even better deal.

She let us know that the Tide 25 oz detergents, regularly priced $6.19, were on clearance for $1.54. Use the $1/1 coupon from P&G, and you're paying 54 cents for a bottle. That's like two cents an ounce!

She also said All detergent was on clearance from $7.99 to $1.99 and she had a $1 off coupon, so that made it 99 cents.

My favorite thing in the world [[well, one of them]] is fresh cleaned sheets. With detergent prices this low, I could afford to wash my sheets daily.

Coupon Alert: L'Oreal Foundation

Just a quick little heads up that if you head over to this link you can print out a coupon for $2 off any L'Oreal foundation.

I don't know of any sales on this right now, but it's better to print and wait for the sale then wait for the sale and then realize there aren't any prints left.

Rite Aid: Free Febreze Luminary

Rite Aid has so much stuff on clearance it's insane. I saw the Febreze Luminary air fresheners on sale for 50% off. I was waiting for them to go to 75% so I could use my $4/1 coupons.

My store had tons at 50% off. Then suddenly they were all gone. I was bummed but kept my coupons in my purse. Then at a different Rite Aid, they had this huge scaffold sorta thing that was jammed with clearance and there they were.

The $4/1 coupons expire on 9/30 so check your Rite Aid for the clearanced Febreze and other goodies. Let us know what else you find.

Banana Republic: Good Deal Alert -- Save 25%

I was dress shopping the other day and we took a little pitstop into Banana Republic. It was fantastic. I wanted everything. I didn't get anything because the sweater I wanted was $79.50 and it got worse from there.

This might help.

If you shop at Banana Republic today [[September 28]] and use the code BRTUESDAY at check out, you'll receive 25% off regular-priced merch, online only. Also, if you shop through eBates, you'll get 2% back.

I don't think that's enough for me to get my sweater, but maybe it's incentive enough for you.

Free Sample: Free Bottle Of John Frieda At Ulta

We don't have an Ulta around me, which is killing me right about now.

Why?

Because if you head over to John Frieda's Facebook page, and "like" them, you can print out a coupon for a free bottle of John Frieda at Ulta.

None for me, which is a shame.

While you're on Facebook, though, check out our page here and be our friend.

UPDATE: If you don't have an Ulta, worry not. You can head over to this link to request a free sample. It's not full size, but it's better than nothing.

Swagbucks: Appreciation Day

Swagbucks crashed hard the other day. And the day after. It was really touch and go for about three days.

But it came back, and we let you know [[because, like us, you're obsessed with Swagbucks]].

The Swag Guy felt bad the site went down and no one could win so today [[September 28]] is Swaggernaut Appreciation Day. The blog says the site is gonna do some fun stuff ... which sounds like a few codes and free Swagbucks to me.

If you stumble over any codes, let us know. And if you're not signed up for Swagbucks, head over to this link, register, and come play along.

Chili's: Eat To Benefit St. Jude's

I'm a huge fan of donating. If you're fortunate, you should help out those who aren't. But, what if you're scraping by? You need to help yourself and make sure you can do simple things, like eat. But what if you eating could help out others? You'd be all for it, right?

I read on Wild for Wags that today [[September 27]], if you eat at Chili's all proceeds will go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. You can read all about it here.

Also, if you head to this link you can sign up for Chili's email list and get a coupon for a free chips and queso appetizer. Sounds like a great night out -- and a great cause.

Mail Call Monday: Toys And Tots

I can't say this is the most thrilling week, as far as mailboxes go. Life, sure, it was pretty good. But for mail, yeah, it was pretty lame. But I didn't get any bills. And any week when there aren't bills in your mailbox is a good week. But, as far as freebies, I got ...

OK! magazine [[John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston back together?]]

Trio car from Fisher Price [[which would get donated to Toys For Tots if it didn't say "free" right on the front]]

Pampers Dry Max from Sam's Club [[for my friend's baby]]

Free soda coupon for Safeway family stores [[from Facebook, which I can't remember ever requesting since there aren't any Safeway stores around here]]

Sephora: Buxom Lash Mascara For Free

I went dress shopping on Saturday because I'm in need of a few new dresses. Originally it was two. Now, I'm not so sure. But, at any rate, I was in a mall where there's a JC Penney with a Sephora inside. And thanks to Penny Pinchin Mom I was able to get a free mascara.

If you head over to this link, you can print out a coupon for a free Buxom Lash Mascara. The end. Yup, that's it. It's not free with purchase. It's just free. All you have to do is stop by between now and October 22. That's it.

The mascara comes in a nice wrapping that makes me tempted to save it for someone for Christmas. And tempted to pull the wrapping off and try it out myself. Ah, what a dilemma. If you get yours, let me know if you keep it or give it away.

Synovate Global Opinion Panels: Now Accepting Panelists

I'm a huge fan of survey sites. I've mentioned this time and time again.

My absolute favorite is PineCone Research, which pays you $3 per survey -- every survey [[there's no waiting]]. It's pretty sweet [[sign up here if you haven't yet]].

My second favorite site, Synovate [[also known as Global Opinion Panels]], is now accepting panelists. Click here to sign up. At this site, you take surveys, earn points, and then cash out when you have enough points for $5 -- which doesn't take that long.

With Christmas coming, you're gonna want a little extra cash lying around, and survey sites are a great way to add a little cash to your wallet. Sign up doesn't ever last very long, so hurry and sign up now.

Edible Arrangements: Sweet Deal

About this time last year, Edible Arrangements had a deal where you could get a free box of chocolate-covered strawberries. I got the box, gave them to my mom, who shared with me, and we both fell in love.

I've kinda craved them ever since, but they're incredibly expensive. And if I was rich enough to splurge on everything I've ever wanted, I wouldn't be so good at writing a coupon blog [[which I am, obviously]].

Anyway, I got an email from Edible Arrangements letting me know that you can get a $25 box of chocolate-dipped fruit -- which is a dozen pieces, by the way -- for $10. Thing is, the email was sent late and today [[September 26]] is the last day of the deal.

Head over to this link to place your order.

Sunday Coupon Preview

It's Sunday ... which means coupon day around these parts. And, even better than regular Sundays, there are three inserts in this week's paper.

There's a P&G, a RedPlum, and a Smart Source. Check out the entire list of coupons here before you head out and get your papers.

If you want a little preview, here goes:

The P&G has a $10 Oral B Vitality coupon that's gonna land you free toothbrushes at CVS this week [[ending 10/02]]. The SS has a ton of Glade coupons, which is great because my grandma just asked me for refills. And the RP has some Aveeno coupons, and you all know how much I love that stuff.

Pretty good if you ask me.

Sephora: Get Kat's Primer For Nada

My "little sister" is my makeup go to person. It's sad because she's, like, a decade younger than me, but I don't care. When I need to know, I go to her.

And since she told me she uses Urban Decay primer, guess what's on my to buy list?

I just checked out Sephora's site looking for it, and then realized that I'd have to pay shipping and I'm not into that. But then I noticed that if you use the code KVDPRIME at checkout, you'll get a free Kat Von D primer sample.

And then I realized that I could shop through eBates and get 5% back. So, I figured with all this good stuff going around, I might as well mention it to you guys.

Saturday Sample: Caress Blackberry Cream Soufflé Body Wash

You know those brand new couples who are so cutesy with each other, they're always making eyes at each other, laughing, smiling, acting all "I miss you" and "I miss you more" with each other until you just wanna find the closest barf bag.

That's me right now.

So, if you can't take it, you might wanna move to the next post because I'm absolutely head over heels with the new Caress Blackberry Cream Soufflé Body Wash, this week's Saturday Sample.

I seriously love it so much, I might ask it to marry me.

In actual seriousness, though, it has quickly become my favorite body wash of all time. It's incredibly thick, which means you only need a little dollop to wash your whole body. It lathers up really nicely, and, really, a little gets you through the shower. If you use too much, and rinse out your washcloth, you've gotta ring that whole bad boy out really well or you'll end up with enough for your next shower.

After my shower, my skin was so incredibly soft. I'm usually really soft in general, but this makes me extra touchable. Honest. I can't stop touching my arms.

And the smell is fantastic. It fills my shower and then seeps into my skin. I don't even have to wear perfume on top of him and I still smell beautifully through the entire day.

I used almost the whole bottle to product test it [[that's how I do]], but I'm savoring the last bit, thinking about using it only on special occasions. Oh, who am I kidding. I'm gonna start working it into my deals and buying this on the regular. I like it that much.

The Limited: Fashion Cash

Today may be the last day of 80 to 90 degree tempatures in the Northeast. I took a half day to celebrate! And then I found out The Limited is giving out Fashion Cash again. You know I will be heading to the mall!

Now until September 28, The Limited is giving $10 in Fashion Cash good towards everything in the store except clearance. If you want to shop online enter the code FASHCASH.

CVS: Pucker Up

We told you not too long ago about a $2/1 Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick coupon. Well, this is the week to use it.

This week [[ending 09/25]], CVS has select Revlon items [[lip sticks, glosses, and mascaras]] on sale for $6.99 and giving back $5 in ecb, making them $1.99.

If you use the $2 printable, you're getting a free lip item.

It seems to be an unlimited deal [[it doesn't even show up on the bottom of your receipt]], so if you wanna pick up some stuff and you've run out of printables, you can use the $1/1 coupons from the 09/12 Smart Source, and you're only paying 99 cents.

Christmas is coming, so this might be a great time to stock up.

Swagbucks: And We're Back

Swagbucks is upgrading to version 3.0, which caused it to go down for the majority of yesterday.

Totally gross, right?

I don't know about you and your friends, but me and mine were checking over and over to see if it had come back. Finally, it has.

So, you can head over to Swagbucks and get your search on, just in time for Mega Swag Bucks Friday. If I'm lead to believe anything I've read on the Swagbucks blog, there will probably be some pretty sweet codes to make up for the site being down. Which will make getting my free Amazon gift cards a bit easier.

If you haven't signed up, this is a great time, especially with all these codes on the horizon. Head over to this link and register.

CVS: Wash Your Face

If you really get into couponing, it can be a full time job. There are so many sales, so many freebies, it's impossible to be everywhere at once.

Which is why it's always very helpful to have couponing buddies.

And why it's always helpful to have Maria from Oh Lovely {Coupons} as your friend.

Maria emailed me the picture in this post. It's Neutrogena face something or other [[cleaner, cleanser, you know]] that's 99 cents at CVS. She also said that there's a $.75/1 coupon in the inserts from 09/19, making it super cheap.

Of course, I decided the inserts were lame this week and only bought one paper. That comes to bite you in the butt every time. Don't ever think the inserts are bad or you'll be like me, curious about where you can pick up a boatload of these coupons.

Reminder: Colgate Giveaway Ends Today

We chatted up the Colgate 360° ActiFlex Sonic Power Toothbrush. And we even gave you a way to win one.

Did you forget to enter?

Well, worry not -- at least, not yet. The giveaway doesn't end until tonight [[September 24]] at 11:59 pm est. So you've still got a little time to try to get in on this.

Head over to the giveaway post and you'll find all the details on how to enter.

Good luck.

Home Depot: Do It Herself Workshop

I went to a Do It Herself workshop at Home Depot back in April, and I couldn't stop raving about it. We learned about interior painting, which is kinda like putting the cart before the horse since I don't have a house or anything.

But knowledge is power, and my friend and I had an incredibly fantastic time.

Which is why we're going to the Do It Herself workshop on September 30. This time, it's about decor, which is pretty great. I also heard that the first 50 registrants get a free organizer of sorts, which means you should probably register here and make a plan to go there.

I should probably ad that the workshops are free and all supplies are provided by Home Depot. My store even bought coffee and donuts too.

Come to the one by me. We can hang out and decorate.

Winner: Oh Baby Giveaway

Congrats to Erin! She is the winner of the Oh Baby Giveaway. Hope Finn likes the coupons.

While we are talking giveaways, don't forget to enter our super fast and super awesome Old Navy coupon giveaway!

CVS: A Bit Of Alcohol

My grandma is diabetic. I don't know if I've mentioned that on the blog before, but she is. So she uses alcohol swabs as often as people use hand soap.

So believe me when I was excited to see alcohol swabs on clearance at CVS. The CVS brand, lavender scented box of 80 was on sale for $1.34. But it gets even better. I scanned my grandma's card and she got a coupon for $1/1 box of alcohol swabs. Combine the sale with the coupon, and now a box of 80 is a mere 34 cents -- or about half a penny per swab.

If you know someone who uses these, you might wanna keep your eyes open.

Giveaway: Old Navy $50/$100 Coupon [[10 Winners!]] -- ENDED

I worked retail long enough to know that you should ALWAYS layer your clothing. Always. And that includes tank tops. Which is why I have a drawer dedicated to Old Navy layering tops. Seriously. Remember last year's $2 tank top deal? Or last month's $2 cami deal? Yup, I stocked up. And this week, you can too.

Old Navy's item of the week is women's stretch tanks. Here's what Old Navy has to say about them:
Super solids, super for layering under fall sweaters or tees. The Old Navy Item of the Week: Women's Stretch Tanks. A fashion standard so light you can wear them under anything and in so many basic, fun colors you can match everything. $6, reg. $10, 9/24–9/30.
If you head over to Old Navy's Facebook page, you can get a glimpse of these tanks. And if you click the Barker's Bones tab, you can "dig" for a $10/$50 coupon.

But how about winning a coupon?

Old Navy has selected Drugstore Divas to give 10 readers a chance to win an incredible coupon -- a $50/$100, good between when you win and Thursday, September 30.

So, how do you enter? It's easy, really.

First, answer this question: Friendship test: If you and your best friend were in an Old Navy, and you picked up the last Stretch Tank in your size, would you keep it for yourself or give it to her? You MUST leave your email address with your comments. The coupon will be emailed to you, and if you don't leave your email address, you can't win.

After you answer that, entries are unlimited. We mean it. Leave as many comments as you'd like. You've got 24 hours to enter. So all entries between now and 3 pm est on Friday, September 24 count. After that, we'll pick ten winners and get your coupons out.

Good luck!

Free Sample: Thomas Coffee

I don't drink coffee, but that doesn't mean I don't know a million people who do drink coffee. So, whenever I see a free sample of coffee, I jump on it. I can either one] stick it with a Christmas gift or two] serve it at my house.

Which is why I had to order a free sample of Thomas Coffee's Premium Blend coffee.

Head over to this link, fill in your info, and you can get your free sample too.

I've never heard of Thomas Coffee before, so if you have and you've tried it, let us know what you think.

Coupon Alert: Edge Shave Gel

This week [[ending 09/25]], CVS has Edge shave gel on sale for $2.79 and giving back $1.80 in ecb, making it 99 cents. Some of us were lucky enough to get $1/1 coupons, making it free. Some of you, however, were not.

So, for those of you who weren't, I have something for you. Head over to this link and you can print a bogo coupon. You'll at least be getting the second one for free, and that's better than getting nothing for free.

InStyle: Coupons In The October Issue

I get a lot of free magazines in the mail [[check out a recent Mail Call Monday and you'll know what I'm talking about]], but I don't get all of them. So I don't know all the coupons that are out there. Which is why I love when I get emails like the one I got from reader Amanda.

Amazing Amanda let me know that she got her InStyle magazine and that there were coupons inside. But instead of just letting me know that, she went extra awesome and typed out the coupons inside the October issue. She found:
$2.00 off John Frieda hair care
$2.00 off Jergens Mositurizer 7.8oz and up
$2.00 off Biore product
$2.00 off Curel mositurzier 7.5oz and up excludes trail size
$1.00 off Garnier mositurizer or cleanser
$2.00 off Maybelline Senseational lipcolor
$2.00 off Dry Idea product
20% off at Bed, Bath and Beyond
That Dry Idea coupon will work great with the deal at CVS this week [[it's $2.49 and giving back $2, limit three, so that coupon makes it a great moneymaker]]. Worth the price of the magazine, perhaps.

Carvel: Ice Cream For Free

I could eat junk food all day and all night. And then I'd be the size of a house, and I don't want that. So, at work, I started "Crap Tuesdays" and "Crap Thursdays" and I can only eat junk then.

I saw about free ice cream at Carvel from Saving With Amy. And it happens to be today [[September 23]], which is so nicely a Thursday.

Head into a participating Carvel, any time, and you can get a free scoop of the new Swiss Miss hand dipped ice cream.

You know where I'll be after dinner tonight.
