Free Sample: Treats For Bow Wow

My brother is home from school, which means his dog is, um, somewhere. It's actually with one of his housemates, although which one, I'm not quite sure. I only know one of them anyway, and that's because we've shared a backyard with the kid since he moved to town. Although he just moved.

Either way, the dog isn't down this way.

But that doesn't mean I'm not still thinking of him and getting him free treats. Apryl from Christian Clippers found that if you head over to this site, Natural Nibbles will give you a free sample.

A free sample of what, I have no idea. But hey, free is free, especially for the puppies.

If you don't have a dog, you can always request the sample and then donate it to your local ASPCA. I know Beth makes a ton of donations to her local SPCA throughout the year [[it probably helps that it's in close proximity to the casino ... and her house]]. When I used to make donations there, the people at the SPCA were so grateful. Plus, I would donate bags and bags of free pet items. It's free for you ... and them. Everyone's a winner.

Free Sample: It's The Freakin' Weekend

I don't wear makeup all that very often. My regimen as of late has been lotion, powder, eye liner, and lip gloss. Which is funny, to me at least, because my regimen before that had ChapStick subbed for lip gloss.

That doesn't mean I don't have a ton of makeup for special occasions, because I do, but everyday wear is different.

But I still really want a become beauty free Weekender kit because, well, it's free. Head over to this link to register for yours.

I don't know much about become beauty, except that it's spelled with a lowercase b, it has a US and Australian Web site, and all become items are 50% off right now. I think, but don't quote me, that it's like Avon with reps selling and things like that. So, I don't really know what will be in your beauty kit, but hey, something is better than nothing.

CVS: Osteo Bi-Flex

I already told you I am using the Move Free products and what a deal they are at Rite Aid. But now CVS is tempting me to try the Osteo Bi-Flex products. See they are on sale buy one get one free and when you buy two Osteo Bi-Flex products, CVS will give you back $3 in extra bucks. And of course, this deal has a limit of six.

The cheapest ones I found at my CVSwas $20.99. There are $4/1 coupons that expire on 12/31 so I am thinking I will use one of them and one of the $5/1 printable coupons from this site. After the coupons, the sale and the extra bucks, it will only be $8.99 for the two of them.

CVS: Renew Your Hands

CVShas Dawn on sale for 99 cents this week [[ending 01/02]]. The Dawn Hand Renewal is never advertised, but they are almost always included in these sales. I think by now I have more of those than the regular Dawn. Why is that? Well, the Hand Renewal is way more expensive so there is usually a $1/1 coupon in the P&G inserts.

You figure out the deal here yet? With the CVS sale this week and the $1/1 coupon for Dawn Hand Renewal, you are looking at free dish soap. There were also $1/2 coupon which makes them 50 cents each, still a great deal. I have a bunch of these that expire 12/31, so make sure to use them before then. There is a limit of three. I never know if that means three per visit or what? I will have to ask and get back to you since this is not tracked on your receipt as an extra buck deal. I will let you know. In the meantime, stock up!

[[Lisa's note: When a non-ecb item is limited in the ad, that's a limit per transaction, not per card. So you can buy three every time you're in CVS. But, if you buy four, the first three will ring at the sale price and the last will ring at regular price. Also, be sure to check in your Home Made Simple booklet. There's a $1/1 coupon in there]]

Target: Cheap Sobe

Target has not had many great gift card deals lately. But this week [[ending 01/02]] -- how crazy is it that 2009 is almost over -- the store finally has a decent deal.

Selected varieties of Sobe LifeWater are on sale 10/$10. You will get a $5 Target gift card when you buy ten. That works out to 50 cents a bottle.

There is a printable coupon for $.25 off that you can print from here. You can print two of them. I hear there are some $.50 off one Sobe LifeWater tearpad coupons out there, I don't have any of them but if you do even better!

Target: Delicious Desserts

Update: I stopped by Target today and everything was 75% off, except bagged candy, which was only 50% off. My Nestle chocolate chips rang up 67 cents!I like baking. I think we've discussed that in a previous post. My real dream goal is to open a bakery, but my more realistic goal is to start a baking Web site, Bakerella style.

In theory, that's my New Year's resolution.

See, I just got a new camera for my birthday, and I got a new memory card for Christmas [[mine has been MIA since before the CVS photo book deal, which killed me, let me tell you]]. So now I have all the components for blogging my baking adventures -- except, well, a crafty name.

But, nonetheless, photodocumenting my baking may be the goal of 2010 and putting the Web site together and maintaining it will be the resolution of 2011. If you've tried running a blog for a year [[as we've done with Drugstore Divas -- almost]], you'll realize how much work it takes. And until we can master Drugstore Divas, there's no way I can split time with my baking site.

Anyway, I bring this up now because Target has Nestle Tollhouse Morsals in a dark chocolate and mint variety, on clearance for $1.49ish [[I add ish because I scanned so many things at Target the other day, the prices are gelling together. I'm actually pretty sure the price was $1.64, but that amounts to a regular price of $3.28, and that doesn't make any sense]].

If you head over to this link, you can register to print a coupon for $1/1, bringing the chocolate chips down to somewhere around 50 cents. I need to hurry back now that I have my coupon and snatch up what's left in the store. These can make for pretty baking adventures that will debut, well, eventually.

Rite Aid: Move Free

I've told you before about this exact same deal. Funny it started on Sunday and runs through Saturday, January 2. I decided on Sunday I was going to start taking the Move Free pills. My hands gets really stiff and hurt in the morning, so that prompted this. I took the last one from the bottle. I went to read the paper and sure was glad there was a deal at Rite Aid.

I bought two of the Move Free bonus boxes that have 120 pills for $30.99 each. Thankfully, Rite Aid has them buy one get one free this week. There are $5/1 coupons, I used two of them. Then I used a $5/$25 coupon to bring my total out of pocket to just $15.99 plus tax. Really good deal for this.

Target: Batteries For Those Toys

I think my brothers and I are all grown up. The way that's proved is that not a single one of our Christmas presents needed batteries this year. I bet you my parents are thrilled we're out of that phase, especially since my cousin's daughter's new toys all walk, talk, beep, and glow.

But, with battery sales everywhere, maybe it's not so bad if your kiddies' toys drain double-a's.

Right now, Target has Rayovac batteries in the Dollar Spot. Yes, we told you about that a while back, but the difference this time is that the Rayovac batteries are 50% off, so it's only 50 cents for a four-pack of AAs.

Now, if my understanding of how Target's coupon policy works, you should be able to pick up two packs of batteries and use one $1/1 coupon and get both packs for free without the dreaded beep.

While you're there, check out the other clearance deals we've been telling you about. You probably wanna make a list. Nothing's worse than getting home and then realizing you should probably head back to the store.

Toys R Us: Leaping For Deals

I was reading an article on Yahoo the other day about the nine best stores to shop after the holidays. Honestly, it read like a pay for play ad, which was super annoying.

But, what I did get out of it was Toys R Us is having a BOGO50% sale, which includes video games. Sweet. Now, just in case you don't feel like doing the math, that's the same as saying buy three get one free.

Anyway, what's even better -- and what the article does mention -- is that all Leapster games are BOGO. Even better -- and what the article doesn't mention -- is that you can get Leapster printable coupons here. You can print $5 coupons for any Leapster game. Use two, and you'll get $10 off, making these games about $14.99 for two.

Now, I really have no idea what Leapster is, but this is really a great price for anything electronic.

CVS: Wash Your Hands And Face

I haven't bought anything at CVS this week. Okay, truth be told I haven't bought anything at CVS in years, but I mean, the ad didn't thrill me.

But, that's gonna change when I get out of work today.

Which will be before you read this, lest all you people in my area steal my deals. Okay, I'm not worried about our readers, but I am worried about the man with 50 cards getting there before me.

See, this week [[ending 01/02]], Biore products are giving back $3 in ecb. The Biore Skin Preservation wash is $7.99. But, luckily for us, it's on clearance for $4 -- and it's still giving back $3 in ecb. So, to the untrained eye, that looks like it's $1.

But nope. See, there's a coupon for $3 off any Skin Preservation product -- which makes this a $2 moneymaker.

That's so good for me because my green bag tag broke the other day and it's lost, nowhere to be found. So, I'll buy a new one of those and still make a dollar at CVS. I just have to make sure I get in there before this deal is too widely known.

CVS: South Beach Bars

I really like the peanut butter South Beach Living protein bars. They are really tasty. They are also on sale at CVSthis week [[ending 01/02]]. South Beach Living bars are three for $10. But CVS is giving you back $5 in extra bucks when you buy three. That's less than $2 a box which is a decent deal.

Head over to this site and you can print out two $1/1 coupons. Using those will bring you total down to $1 per box. I just hope my CVS has the peanut butter ones in stock.

CVS: Free Ivory

I labeled this as CVS since this was the first flier I saw Ivory soap for 99 cents. I have a feeling there are other places prices are 99 cents as well. So the 3-pack of Ivory soap is just 99 cents.

Be on the look-out for this because if you use the $1/1 coupon from the P&G inserts, you are looking at free soap. I know Rite Aid has this sale at times too so even if you can't get in on the CVS deal, save those coupons for later.

Rite Aid: Free SoyJoy

SoyJoy bars are one of those things you either love them or you hate them. Me, I don't love them. My husband does though. And since they are a moneymaker at Rite Aid this week [[ending 01/02]], I will like them enough to get them. If you buy five of them for $3, you will get $3 back from Rite Aid in single check rebates. That makes them free.

You can combine that with the buy one get one free manufacturer's coupon or the $1/5 coupon. Any combination of these coupons turns this into a moneymaker.

Mail Call Monday

I felt like I got so much more in my mailbox this week than the picture shows. It's true. I got a bunch of Christmas cards, so I was opening those. But, more to the Mail Call Monday point, I got a bag from Lucky Rewards. I don't know why. I mean, I signed up for the emails or something, and then I got a free bag. Which I've been using. And then I got another. For why, I don't know. But I gave it to my mom before I was able to get it into the picture.

Other than that, I got ...

Target: Coffee Chaser

My little brother is turning 21 in a few weeks. So he can have his first [[legal]] drink then. He'll probably make it through the night on alcohol alone, but, in case he needs to stop drinking beer and start drinking coffee, I've got him covered.

See, when I was shopping at Target, getting the clearance Christmas deals, I stopped by the dollar spot. Most of the stuff over there was half off, including a small sized Jack Daniel's coffee. I had seen others in the past, but I guess they were all sold out. When you can get flavored coffee for fifty cents, I guess you snatch them all.

I don't know if he's gonna be drinking Natty Light or maybe Keystone, but at least I know he has the opportunity to have Jack Daniel's on his 21st.

Welcome Coupons For Your Family To The Social

We're so excited to announce that Denise from Coupons For Your Family has joined our Supermarket Social!

Our newest Socialite is bringing deals for Tops and Giant Eagle. She mentioned that her Tops matchups are based on Buffalo, New York and her Giant Eagle ones are based on Uniondale, Pennsylvania. We'll be bringing those to you weekly as well as hosting them in the Social.

I'm sure you're all really excited -- and so is my brother [[the one who has the dog at school, if you're keeping track at home]]. See, my brother goes to school in Buffalo, and Tops is the closest grocery store. So he's going to be thrilled that Denise is on board.

Walgreens: Pass the Pepto Please

Walgreens has Pepto Bismol on sale for $4.99 this week [[01/02]]. That stuff is so expensive. But if you buy two of them, you get $5 back in register rewards. If you buy three of them, you get $10 in register rewards. I know you are doing the math thinking this is still too expensive.

And it is.

But use either the $1/1 Pepto Bismol coupons from the P&G savings booklet that expire 12/31 or the $1/2 from the P&G inserts and it gets better.

But if you have one of the Walgreens Healthy Savings booklets, it gets great. There are $1/1 Pepto Instacool tablets. I bought three Instacool tablets, used the $1/1 Walgreens coupon and two of the $1/1 Pepto coupons. After the $10 register reward, it was free. Even if you use the $1/2, you are only looking at 97 cents for three. Pretty good deal.

Christmas Clearance

Most of us know the days after Christmas mean lots of great deals on Christmas decorations, candy, wrapping paper, and more. I wanted to post this because I went to the Dollar Tree today to get my newspapers. I totally forgot they would have holiday items on clearance which meant 50 cents for ornaments, paper products, wrapping paper, cards, and so much other stuff.

I also got some really great Snoopy and Peanuts items for 50% off at CVS the other day. My CVS had lots of clearance items left, so did Target. Walgreens was not as good. I haven't made it to Kohl's yet, but I hope it has some of its St. Nicholas Square items left.

Here are some of the stores and discounts I know of:
Dollar Tree - 50% off
Walgreens - 50% off
Bed, Bath & Beyond - 50% off
Rite Aid - 50% off
CVS - 50% off
AC Moore - 50% off
Hallmark - 50% off
Target - 50% off most items; 30% off bagged chocolate
Michael's Craft Store - 70% off
Jo-Ann Fabric - 70% off
Kohl's - 70% off

Don't forget you can also check out the stores' Web sites, they have great deals there too. Keep an eye on your favorite stores to go even lower in the next few days. They need to make room for the Valentine's Day items they are already stocking.

Rite Aid: Regenerist Money Maker

Rite Aid has Olay products on sale buy one get one 50% off this week [[ending 01/02]]. That does exclude the trial sizes and the Pro-Rx, but it does include the Regenerist products. To get the most of this deal, you need to go before Thursday, December 31. There are $3 off any Olay Regenerist face wash or moisturizer coupons that expire on 12/31.

I bought the Olay Regenerist face scrub for $7.99 and the second was $3.99 [[after the bogo 50% off]]. Then I used two of the $3/1 coupon. That made my total $5.98. But I can submit my receipt for a $15 mail in rebate from Olay for purchasing two Regenerist products. That makes this great deal a $9 moneymaker, give or take depending on your tax. Hurry and get to your Rite Aid for this one before Thursday.

Rite Aid: Free Kotex

Kotex is on sale for $2.99 this week [[ending 01/02]] at Rite Aid. And you will get $2 back from Rite Aid single check rebates. That makes the cost just 99 cents. Of course, the limit is only one for this deal. That's the only complaint I have with the single check rebates, it would be nice for the limits to be two or more every once in a while.

There was a $1/1 Kotex coupon in the 11/08 inserts. The coupons were regional so not everyone got them. But if you were lucky enough to get one, you are looking at this deal as a freebie.

Free Sample: Benefiber Orange

As you probably know by now, last week, I went to visit my grandma in Florida. Of course, since I'm babysitting her CVS card, I had a suitcase filled with things to bring to her.

Yes, I turned $5 into a suitcase of stuff.

And her ecb are now around $20.

But that's another story for another day.

The story today is that in her suitcase was some Benefiber stick packs. She loves them. Apparently, they don't coagulate like Metamucil does if you're nursing your drink.

If that's enough reason for you to want to try it, you're in luck. Head over to this link and Walmart will send you a free sample of Benefiber Orange. And, if you get one and decide you don't wanna use it, I'll give you my grandma's address.

Swagbucks: Merry Free Christmas Indeed

My goal this year was a free Christmas. I haven't tallied the numbers or anything just yet, but it's pretty darn close. If I count money I've gotten from product testing, then yup, I well cleared a free Christmas.

This is, of course, adding in Amazon gift cards I cashed in from Swagbucks.

Between now and 11 a.m. pdt tomorrow [[December 27]], Swagbucks is offering a $50 Amazon giftcard for only 520 bucks. That's 70 off.

Now, yes, a $5 gift card is only 45 Swagbucks, so this isn't the same deal as that, however, you can only cash in five of the same prize per month. So, you can only get five $5 giftcards in December, which adds up to half of what the on sale giftcard is.

Follow me?

So, if you're looking to start saving for your free Christmas -- yes, plan ahead to next year -- then you might wanna cash in on this.

Kohl's: Super Savings

Kohl's is trying to keep you in the Christmas spirit. This is still the Christmas weekend, and Monday will be, um, the Monday after Christmas. And I guess that's trying to extend the holiday cheer just a little too much because that's the last day of this sale.

Oh, what sale, you ask.

The one super reader Jilly let me know about.

Between now and Monday [[December 28]], you can take an extra 15% off any order on Kohl's Web site. Just enter the code YOURGIFT15 at checkout.

It's 15% off everything, and the email emphasizes -- Yes, Kohl's means everything. To me, that means it also counts on clearance and video games, which usually tend to be excluded from sales.

There's also an early bird special going on today [[December 26]]. If you shop until 4 p.m. online, you can get in on these deals. And, you'll get free shipping when you spend $75. So get shopping.

Rite Aid: Free Olay

This deal ends today [[December 26]] so while you are out looking for all the after Christmas deals, be sure to stop at Rite Aid. We told you about the Olay mail in rebate earlier this week. Here is how you can put that rebate to good use for some free body wash and lotion.

Rite Aid has Olay body wash on sale for $4.99 and Quench lotion for $4.99. Buy two of each. Then use two of the Buy Olay Body Wash get a Free Olay lotion coupons from the P&G inserts. Submit your receipt for the $9.98 back and you have two free body washes and two free lotions.

Taco Bell: Free And Fresh

I love Taco Bell. It is, hands down, my favorite fast food. Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. Mmm.

So, of course, I dragged my mom to Taco Bell so I could get a free Black Jack Taco on Halloween. And, whenever Taco Bell runs its free taco for a stolen base in the World Series promo, you know I'm down.

There's no way I'm turning down this free taco.

Head over to this link and you can print a coupon for a free Fresco Taco, available in beef, chicken, or steak. You're only allowed to print one coupon [[it's not a Bricks coupon, so that limit is true, unfortunately]]. The coupon expires a week from when you print it, so you might be able to borrow some of your friends' computers and get yourself a free lunch. Just don't tell them why you're using it or they might want their own taco.

Walgreens: Triangular Love

I meant to write about this deal at the beginning of the month. I figured it out, and then completely forgot about it. And now today is the last day of the month -- according to Walgreen's schedule -- so that means you need to hurry up and get in on this deal right now.

That, or someone should have sent me an email about this great deal to remind me.

Okay, I can't blame the public.

But, anyway ... Toblerone chocolates are on sale for $1.50 this month [[ending 12/26]] at Wags. In the December booklet, there's a coupon for $1/2. It'll actually take 50 cents off if you're only buying one. Yup, that's a little trick Wags doesn't let you in on.

So now you're looking at $1 a bar.

Well, it gets better [[because that's not very good]]. In the 11/22 Smart Source, there's a $1/1 coupon ... making this free chocolate. Now that's very good.

You can even get the new fruit and nut variety for the same price of free. Happy eating.

Ikea: Best Start Of The Day

They say there's no such thing as a free lunch. And, whoever "they" is, well, they might be right.

But they say nothing about a free breakfast.

Maybe they caught wind of Ikea.

Starting today [[December 26]], and going through January 3, Ikea is offering a free small breakfast and a free coffee -- both 99 cent values -- for free.

If you've got kiddies, well, sure, Ikea has a ton of play areas for them. But, really, shopping is boring. You can shut up that whining with a free lunch. Yup, kids can eat free.

I guess Ikea just wanted to prove "they" wrong.

Amazon: She's Still Dreaming

I definitely had all intentions of taking today off, but it didn't work. Then again, I had all intentions of taking yesterday off from shopping, and I ended up at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and Borders. So much for time off.

But today was going to be rest, relaxation, and no blogging. But yesterday was no blogging. I mean, posts went up, but I didn't even sit at the computer for a single second yesterday. See, my immediate family celebrated Christmas yesterday, so I didn't have time for the computer.

What I'm getting at is that maybe YOU have shopping to do today. Maybe YOU are at the computer. Maybe YOU are just holding your breath, hoping Drugstore Divas will find you something -- anything! -- to quickly get that one person who you completely forgot about.

Well, we can try.

And our try comes in the form of Susan Boyle, the 40-something-year-old woman who may or may not have ever kissed a guy and was completely unknown to everyone but her cat until April when she exploded into popularity by singing that song from Les Mis. Okay, you know her, right?

As much as I don't want to support the chance of her album overtaking Taylor Swift's for the top spot of 2009 because I heart Taylor just like the tweens do, Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream is such a heartwarming, feel good Christmas story.

It's also only $3.99 for the mp3 download of the entire album on Amazon. You'll have to download the songs, burn the CD, and then give it to your Aunt Lucy for Christmas, but hey, it's better than showing up emptyhanded.

Merry Christmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas. A very Merry Christmas.

All of us here at Drugstore Divas consider each and every one of our readers a part of our extended Drugstore Divas family. And we want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas.

Tomorrow is the big sale day -- 50% off all Christmas items, including cards, wrapping paper, and decor. We're sure you'll be out first thing in the morning, but today, just enjoy your family.

See you at the sales tomorrow.

Gap: Seasons Givings

It's Christmas Eve, which means you're probably due for a feel good story. Oh sure, the coming of Baby Jesus is a feel good story in itself, but I'm talking about one from modern times.

Like from last month.

During the middle of November, we let you know about Gap Family Stores' Give and Get program. You saved 30% and 5% of what you bought was donated by Gap to various charities, like Donors Choice and Feeding America.

Well, I got an email from Gap letting me know that Gap Family Stores donated $2 million to the various charties between American and Canadian "donations."

How great is that?

It just shows that yes, every little bit can make a difference.

Happy Holidays.

Peet's Coffee & Tea: Warming The Holiday

Christmastime always reminds me of traveling through the cold to get to a relatives house, getting stuck in the snow, and having to enjoy your family's company.

It hasn't ever happened to me, but Christmas with my dad's family did get snowed out last year -- and so far so bad this year.

In any case, if you're traveling on Christmas Eve, I've got two rules for you: one] Be safe and two] Stop by Peet's Coffee & Tea.

Today [[December 24]] only, you can get a free cup of coffee or tea.

It'll be something great to keep you warm in case you do get stranded on the road while you're traveling [[I hope you don't, but best to be prepared]].

Aerie: December Freebie

I'm not on a diet. But I did have to be bikini ready last week, which meant I was trying my hardest not to eat anything bad for me [[which means I was on a fast food boycott when I booked my ticket ... and off it as soon as it was time to fly home]].

Aerie was temping me to break my diet.

December's free gift is a chocolate bar. Chocolate! My weekness! Aerie isn't a chocolate store. Where's my perfume? My makeup brushes? Not to be found this month. Instead, it's chocolate. Which will be temping us all this month -- along with holiday cookies and any treats your coworkers/neighbors/family members/friends decide to drop by your house to celebrate the season.

Just repeat with me: bikini ready.

Maybe we'll all make it through.

Don't forget: You can pick this up any Thursday in December. Just hand over your a-list card and you'll get the gift for free ... no strings attached.

Empire City Casino: Merry Giftcard-mas

I can't imagine going to the casino on Christmas Eve. I just can't. But, then again ... my dad is working and my family won't be celebrating until later ...

Okay, I'm not going. But are you?

Empire City Casino [[in Yonkers, New York]] is offering Dunkin' Donuts giftcards to the first 500 promotions cardholder who go to the promotions booth on Christmas Eve.

Now, I did go a few weekends ago in November, but I had to pass the casino anyway and blah blah blah. I did get another email from the casino for $5 in free play, but even that isn't getting me out to the casino the day before Christmas.

But, if you're in the area ...

Coupon Alert: CVS Savings

My dad was reading the paper today and then handed me an early Christmas present: In today's Journal News, there was a CVS wrap!

In it, there was a $5/$20; a coupon for $10 off an appliance of $10 or more; $20 off an electronic purchase; $4 off three Coke 12-packs; and $5 off a $9.99 or more toy.

The coupons are good until the day after Christmas, which means those half-off sales just started looking a little bit better.

It's kinda late, but I was just at the mall and I saw the newspaper stand. You can still get your copy of the paper. And you should. This $5/$20 is like free money for sure.

Good Deal Alert -- St. Ives Body Wash

You can turn body wash into a money maker at CVS this week, but if you've already maxed that deal out [[at one]] and still want more body wash, head over to Walgreens this week [[ending 12/26]].

Wags has St. Ives body wash on sale for $1.49. And there was a $1/1 coupon out [[that I famously mentioned I didn't get]], so if you got that, you're looking at 49 cents a bottle. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Coupon Alert: Special Savings

There's usually a coupon in the P&G inserts for $1/any Tide. You can use that coupon to pick up a free trial-sized Tide at Target.

I usually try to make sure I get that every month, just to use a coupon. If you don't use the coupons, they're just pieces of paper.

Well, this month, you should make an even more concerted effort to use your P&G coupons. For every coupon used from Sunday's insert [[that's December 27, by the way]], three cents will be donated to the Special Olympics. You're helping out the kids, and all you're really doing is picking up the same things you would have in the past.

But this is definitely a reason to make sure you get your trial-sized Tide.

Referral Wednesday: Soft Scrub Club

This week's Referral Wednesday site comes thanks to an email I got from Maria at Oh Lovely {Coupons}. Yesterday, she sent me an application to be a Soft Scrub Club Captain.

Sweet.

The Club is accepting 200 Captains who apply through this link. People who are chosen will get discounts, product to try, and more. It sounds like the Coffee-Mate Brew Crew, which Mallory and I are both happy members of.

To apply, you have to fill in a bit about yourself -- how many friends you have in real life, how many online friends you have, if you have Twitter or Facebook, if you have a blog. Then you get to babble in one field, letting them know more about you. Let them know you read about this at Drugstore Divas, and maybe it'll help us all. Like a grassroots campaign.

It would be great if some Divas-in-Training could be a part of the Soft Soap Club. If you get in, let us know what offers you get. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that I'm selected.

Foot Locker: Sneaker Savings

I was helping my friend Christmas shop the other day, and we took a little stroll into Foot Locker to see if the Sketcher Shape Ups were in stock.

They weren't, but I did see a good deal when I was in Foot Locker.

If you spend $50, you get $10 off or $25 off $100. I know there was a third threshold, but I knew I wouldn't be spending that much, so I honestly didn't even check.

But still, not a bad deal if you're buying a pair of kicks.

Borders: Snow Stopper

I got an email from Borders the other day, lamenting the big snowstorm. To remedy the fact that no one shopped at Borders when 12 inches of snow were on the ground, Borders stores are open til midnight between now and Christmas.

I have no idea if that's a ploy or planned, but either way, it's probably a good thing.

An even better thing is this printable coupon for 30% off your total. If you're still looking for last minute gifts, hopefully you know people who can read.

Aerie: Wednesday's Deal Of The Day

Aerie pretty much wants you to go shopping every day. I mean, how else can you explain it's deal a day until Christmas promo? The song is of the 12 days of Christmas, and Aerie is having its own twelve days of sales. Although, today is the last day. So sad.

It's a good plan, to me at least. I mean, it'll get be blogging about Aerie quite a bit.

Today [[December 23]], the deal of the day is aerie gift sets are only $12.50. I have no clue what's in the gift sets, but they're probably worth the price. And, if you're still buying gifts, you can't be too picky.

To get the deal, take a copy of this email and tell them you're on the a-list.
