Huge Savings Booklet

Nabisco is giving away a $55 savings booklet. Visit here. You will need to register but it literally takes seconds. Enter your name, address, and email and you are all set.

The coupons include two $20 rebates and $15 worth of coupons for Kraft products like Planters, Capri Sun, Nabisco, and Easy Cheese. They will be in your mailbox in six to eight weeks. Just in time for all those back to school snacks.

Just a small aside: We mentioned this back at the beginning of July, but figured it was worth a reminder. Plus, I was able to sign up again, so maybe the offer refreshed, like the Home Made Simple one, and I'll get two books - Lisa

Got Milk

I try to get everyone into couponing. I'm often pretty successful [[if I wasn't, I wouldn't have anyone reading Drugstore Divas in the beginning]].

Everyone's initial opposition is always the same: "I don't use the things there are coupons for." Oh really? You don't use toilet paper? They really mean: "I don't eat processed junk." That makes two of us.

But, there are coupons for non-processed items. Like right now, for example, if you head over to our printable coupons, and use the zip 63101 [[that's Saint Louis, Mo, by the way]], you'll be able to print two free milk coupons. One is for a free gallon of white milk when you spend $100 in groceries and the other is for a free half gallon of chocolate wyb a gallon of white.

As with all the coupons you can print from our site, you can print doubles -- and now that's a lot of free milk.

Clothes For A Cause

We all want to donate, make the world a better place. But, our pockets aren't always that deep.

That's why this weekend is great. Between now and Sunday, August 2, take this coupon to your closest Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, or Athleta and you'll save 30% off your total.

But, it gets even better. You get to choose a charity -- donorschoose.com, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Feeding America, Care, Teach for America, or (Red) -- and 5% of your total will go to that charity.

So cheap clothes for you -- and a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

The always lovely Jilly just let me know that the coupon is good at the Gap and Banana Republic outlets. That's great -- plus a good segue into mentioning that this weekend is the Back to School sale at the Chelsea Premium Outlets. Thanks Jilly!!

Free Chocolate Friday

This may look like a repeat [[it's the same post every Friday now]], but we gain new readers every day [[hello!]], and we don't want them to miss out on free chocolate.

So, here goes: This is your friendly reminder that today is Free Chocolate Friday thanks to the people over at Mars.

Every Friday, between now and September, the first 250,000 people to Mars' Real Chocolate Relief Act site will get a coupon for a free single chocolate bar.

You can get four per household during the promo period, so if you've only gotten one so far, what are you waiting for?

15% off Today only

Somehow, today is all about Walgreens. Print a coupon from this site for 15% off at Walgreens. The coupon is only good today, Friday, July 31 -- Friends and Family day.

This is great to combine with the other deals at Wags this week. Now you can get that hair dryer, Listerine even cheaper and the Scotch bubble mailers too!

Mentos Math

I was on lunch the other day, and instead of reading my book, I wrote up a post about Mentos gum ... a post that's MIA right now.

So, here's the short version of that post:

CVS is having a candy sale this week [[ending 08/01]], $5 in ecb wyb $15 worth of certain candy, including Mentos gum. The gum is on sale for $1, which adds a bit of urgency to this post because there's a $1/1 coupon that expires, well, today.

Also part of the sale: Mars singles. Use your coupon from Free Chocolate Friday, and you're pretty close to getting a bunch of your candy for free. Then, use a few ecb, and your sweet tooth is set.

Good Deal Alert -- Cheap Listerine

I love Smart Rinse. It is a good thing there are so many deals at Walgreens this week. I can go get everything in one trip. Listerine is on sale 2 for $8 and is giving back $3 in Register Rewards wyb two. Five bucks for two is an okay deal since these are 500 mL.

But there is a coupon for $2/1. If you have two of the coupons, you are now looking at $1 for two bottles. You don't have to buy the Smart Rinse, you can buy regular Listerine or the Agent Cool Blue. But I will be buying the green Smart Rinse for sure.

Conair Hairdryer

I always like to have an extra hair dryer on hand. I have had too many blow up or just die to not have a back-up. Visit Walgreens this week [[ending 08/01]] to prepare yourself for cheap. Conair hair dryers are on sale $14.99 and are giving back $10 in Register Rewards.

Less than five bucks for a decent 1875 watt hair dryer is pretty cheap. And be sure to pick up some free candy while you are there!

Cold Starbucks

I don't drink coffee. I'm a hot chocolate kind of gal. And lately, I've been drinking tea every day at work because it fights cancer.

But the Starbucks Frappuccinos in Mocha, oh my gosh, they're an addiction. They're also usually a little pricey, but not this week [[ending 08/01]].

At Walgreens, the Fraps are on sale for $1.25 with the in-ad coupon. A few weeks ago, there was a $1/1 coupon for these, so now there's only costing you a quarter.

That's less than a phone call. I can do that.

Good Deal Alert -- Dannon Activia Yogurt

I was thinking of writing a preface about yogurt and fiber, but instead, I'll just get right into it: Stop & Shop has Dannon Activia yogurt 4-packs on sale for $2 this week [[ending 07/30]]. There were $1/1 coupons recently, making these a buck each ... or a quarter a yogurt. Sounds like a good deal to me.

The Crazy Chicken

I've been to El Pollo Loco once when I was visiting a friend out in California. I had taquitos, which, honestly, are much better at Taco Bell.

And chicken bowls are great at KFC, but if you wanna try one at El Pollo Loco, don't go without this coupon. With it, you can get a free Pollo bowl when you buy another. The coupon is only good until Saturday, August 1, so don't wait too long.

Aerie's Monthly Freebie

Aerie, American Eagle's undergarment store, gives away a freebie each month to members of the aerie A-list. All you have to do is sign up and then show up on a Thursday. You can only get one freebie per month.

If you're heading down today, you'll be able to pick up July's freebie: a 4 oz. shimmer mist, which retails at $7.50. You get to pick between four scents. Enjoy.

National Cheesecake Day

I am one of the few people in the world that does not like cheesecake. Not at all. I don't know why either. I love cream cheese, sugar, graham cracker crust, but not all together. But for all you cheesecake fans today [[July 30th]] is National Cheesecake Day.

In order to celebrate, stop by and dine in at The Cheesecake Factory to enjoy half price slices. If you are in Chicago, you can stop by Eli's for a free slice between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. One per person while supplies last. And if you click on the link to Eli's Web site, you can enter to win a free cheesecake.

Good Deal Alert -- Luigi's Real Italian Ice

My dad eats Luigi's Real Italian Ice every day. I should buy stock in that and Kashi, for real. Or, just help my parents make a stockpile of it.

I'm trying this week [[ending 08/01]]. Starting today, Wednesday, July 29, ShopRite is having a four-day sale. And part of that sale is Luigi's. It's 99 cents -- which is half the regular sale price!

But, even better, there are a ton of $.50/1 insert coupons out there that, yup, make this free. Time to stock up.

Weis Weekly

Once again there is not a lot of deals at Weis. I am hoping it is just a summer slump and soon we will see the deals we love from Weis.

Jello Pudding is on sale again 2 for $5. Use the $1/2 coupon and that is a good deal. Eggo Bake Shop or Toaster are on sale 2 for $4. Velveeta is 10 for $10.

BOGO
Doritos
Fresh Express Salad
Nathan's Beef Franks
Ball Park Meat Franks
Steak-umms
Hatfield Ham

And The New Owner Of An Apron Is ...

Here's the moment you've all been waiting for ... the winner of our Carolyn's Kitchen apron giveaway is ... Erica. Glad you loved the cupcake apron because you are now the proud owner of one. When you get it, you'll have to let us know if you used it to be Suzy Homemaker or Suzy Homefaker. Congrats Erica. Look for an email from the Divas.

Thanks to everyone who entered. We've got another contest in the works. And you won't want to miss it.

Multiple Tampon Uses

So maybe there are a few of our readers who are post-menopausal. Or maybe there are some men reading. And you see a post for free tampons and think, "Well, that's not for me."

Point and case: This week [[ending 08/01]], CVS brand 10-count tampons are on sale for $1.89 and giving back $1.89 in ecb, limit one. There's regular and super and really freaking super [[super plus, maybe? I'm not quite sure]].

But, luckily for you, we found a site called Tampon Crafts. Oh, the Internet is a lovely place. You can make a tampon shooter [[no, it doesn't quite shoot tampons, but there's a band of bullets]] these incredibly cute tampon ghosts for Halloween, and even a menorah for Hanukkah. Mazel Tov.

Referral Wednesday: Rue La La

I'm a firm believer in the notion that every woman should own one nice piece. Mine's a pearl bracelet. I'm not talking family heirlooms [[I have earrings my grandpa bought my grandma when he was in Hong Kong on a boat ride from the U.S. to Japan to surprise her after the Korean war]]. And I'm not talking electronic either. I mean one nice dress, accessory, pair of shoes, whatever it may be, that makes you feel like the center of the world.

You know what I mean. That little black dress that, even if you wear it only to slow dance in your living room with your husband. That locket that shines as bright as the sun the day when you graduated college, when you knew the entire world was open to you. I'm waxing poetic here, but that's what this one piece does to you. It transgresses you, brings you to somewhere so far from where you are, you forget where your feet are.

Now, truth be told: We all want that one piece. And since you're a Drugstore Diva reader, you want that for cheap[[er]]. And this Referral Wednesday does just that.

Rue La La is a two-day online boutique, similar to Gilt. It's designer items and discount prices. That might not be the tagline, but it sure should be.

There were Fendi bags up the other day, which were going for more than I was willing to pay [[especially since I'm saving for my Jimmy Choo bag anyway]]. But there were a ton of shirts and shorts and skirt I've seen for reasonable prices -- for that one special piece, at least.

I'm Thinking Free Food

Each Wednesday, between now and the end of summer, you can get free food on Wednesdays at Arby's.

And since we here at Drugstore Divas love our readers, we're gonna let you know you what you can eat for free each Hump Day.

July 29th: Free FruiTea with any sandwich purchase.

August 5th: Free Regular Roast Beef with any soft drink purchase.

August 12th: Free Roast Chicken Club with any soft drink purchase.

August 19th: Free FruiTea with any sandwich purchase.

August 26th: Free Roast Beef 'n Cheddar with any soft drink purchase.

Jack Daniel's Please

If memory serves me correctly -- and it might not, so fingers crossed -- Beth is a big fan of Jack Daniel's anything from Friday's. Okay, not the alcohol, but Jack Daniel's on some meat.

She's probably wishing she was in Arizona right now. Or maybe California. Why there, you ask. Oh, because if you partake in Happy Hour at select Friday's there -- as well as Connecticut; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and a handful of restaurants in New York and New Jersey -- are giving a free Jack Daniel's Sampler for parties of three or more. Just head over to this site to register.

Now, just in the effort of keeping you legit, we've seen this offer floating around the Internet. Someone apparently created a pfd of the coupon and is circulating it. This is valid in certain restaurants only. So no, you can't bring this to your Friday's in Florida and get in on the deal, not even if you printed out the coupon online. If it's illegitimate [[which this pdf that's circulating is]], you'll have to pay for your sampler, no matter how many buddies you bring to share it with.

Good Deal Alert -- Free Candy Bars

Okay, I am trying my best to follow the whole low-carb lifestyle. This post is not helping me! Walgreens has Mars brand candy bars for 49 cents after the Wags coupon from the flier. That includes Snickers, Twix, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, etc.

Combine with the coupon for $1/2 and you have free candy bars!! I may even allow myself a cheat day from my diet for this one!

Aloha, Ola Loa

We all know the importance of taking a multi-vitamin right? Well, what if you are like Lisa and you can't swallow pills? Not only is there a product out there for you from Ola Loa, but they are going to give you a free sample of it too.

Visit this website to request your free sample. You will get a sample of the Energy multi-vitamin and the Sport formula.

The best thing about this free sample is you can request on for a friend too!! Just put your name in the message box and add in your friend's address info as well and they will get a sample in the mail too.

Sticky Situation

I've never used the term "sticky notes." I always say Post Its, even though technically Post It is a brand. But, so is Vaseline, and no one calls the goopy stuff petroleum jelly.

Nevertheless, sticky notes are on sale at CVS during its three-day sale [[ending 07/28]] for 99 cents and giving back 99 cents in ecb. It's part of a deal with a Swingline Tot stapler, which is also 99 cents and giving back 99 cents in ecb. The limit is two, and you can't get two of each, just one of each or two of one.

If you want the stapler, look for it on plastic hooks in the seasonal school supply section, not in the regular stationary section. Hope that helps.

Touch Me, Heal Me

If you missed Tommy, you missed the headline.

That's fine. You can still get in on the deal.

As part of CVS' three-day sale [[ending 07/28]], you can get Easy Touch pens by Pilot for 99 cents. They're also giving back 99 cents in ecb, limit two. There's black and blue, fine and medium point. So you've got a bit of a selection.

Smells Good

I have learned that if I want to coupon, I can't be totally brand loyal. But there are some things I will only use specific brands. Lady Speed Stick is one of those things. I mean you can't take chances when it comes to smelling good. It does not matter how much free Ban I have, I will pay actual money [[not a lot though]] for Lady Speed Stick.

Lucky for us, Rite Aid has this on sale now until 08/01 -- two for $2.74. If you visit our printable coupons button you can print out two coupons for $1.50 off one. Print them out and you have two deodorants and 26 cents [[if your store allows overage]].

How A Home Tastes

I try to bake as often as eggs and flour are on sale. Okay, not that often, but exaggeration is sometimes more interesting than the truth. I do bake quite a bit [[as will you if you win our Carolyn's Kitchen apron giveaway -- it ends today, by the way]]. What I love is looking through cookbooks and magazines and finding new recipes. I pull them all out -- even if I have no intention of using them. I mean, there might be a day I'm itchy for some sole, and Martha Stewart will tell me the difference between the fish and James Brown.

But, cooking periodicals are usually expensive. Taste of Home is $3.99 an issue. Maybe that's fine with you, but for those of us living on a coupon blogger's budget, it's a little much.

Yay for free trials. If you head over to this link, you can get a free issue of Taste of Home. One issue is enough to find a few recipes to stick into your recipe book and break out when the cutie down the hall is coming over.

Kmart Doubles

Rumor has it that Kmart will be having another round of double coupons!! The dates will be August 16 to August 22. The rules will be the same as last time: 10 coupon per customer, per day when you spend $25 [[before coupons]]. You can only double four like coupons and only up to the price of the item. Most stores will be doubling up to $2 coupons.

I still miss the days of 75 coupons or even 25, but I did really well the last time so I won't complain too much. Start cutting your coupons now. I always seem to get Vaseline lotion, Goodlife cat treats, and Visine.

Dream Interpretation

I once had a dream where I was with my friend and he was looking for push pins. I remembered it when I woke up because I had always called them thumbtacks. I started calling them push pins after that dream ... although I never did ask that friend what he called them outside of my oh so thrilling dreams.

I bring this up because CVS has 100 count push pins on sale for 99 cents during the three-dale sale [[ending 07/28]]. They're giving back 99 cents as well. You can choose from erasers, push pins, or binder clips [[which were completely out of stock at every CVS I went to]]. The limit is two, but it's only two total. So you can get two boxes of push pins and two erasers and two of the elusive binder clips. Only two of the three items, total. So you've gotta cut one out. I say make it the clips. Chances are you didn't find the binders last week either.

Axe Her To A Movie

It always seems like Axe has some kind of movie ticket promotion happening. And this week is no exception. Between now and August 9, if you buy four Axe products at Jewel-Osco or Shaw's, you'll get two free movie tickets. It's that simple.

We’ve read in quite a few places that there are coupons for free Axe products in the following magazines: Details [[page 49]]; GQ [[page 51]]; Maxim [[page 21]]; and Men's Fitness [[page 61]]. What's a tad bit annoying is that nowhere on the Internet have we found anyone who mentions who is on the cover of these magazines, so your guess for the issue is as good as mine.

Mail Call Monday

The mail has been kind of crummy to me lately, but that has passed because this Mail Call Monday took up my entire coffee table.

So, what'd I get? Lookie here:

Martha Stewart Living Magazine

Motorcyclist Magazine

Scott Toilet paper and wipes

Think Marriage Love Letter kit

Pampers coupons

Good Nites boxer shorts

An advertisement for Vocalpoint's new site [[and cards for my friends to let them know]]

$25 Target gift card from Team Coffeemate

Free samples from Mario B.

Starbucks ice cream coupon from Facebook

Compost Pile

I was never asked to write a composition in school. Essays, yes; papers, yes; compositions, nope. But I did always have to bring in composition notebooks, which are slightly annoying because you can't ever just rip out one page. It has to be two.

Speaking of two, you can get two composition notebooks for free during CVS' three-day sale [[ending 07/28]]. Although you might not be able to tell from the picture, these are the large notebooks, not the mini ones.

They're on sale for 99 cents and you get 99 cents back in ecb. You can get green, purple, blue, or the traditional black. In case you're wondering, I left the tradition on the shelf.

Good Deal Alert -- Free Amp Energy

Kmart has Amp energy drinks on sale this week [[ending 08/01]], 10 for $10. That is a pretty good deal for an energy drink. But of course, it gets better with coupons.

If you have the $1 off tearpad coupons, it will be free. I will be going to Kmart even though there are no double coupons this week.

Mocha Monday

Just saw a commercial for this and I thought it was great -- so of course, I had to pass it along.

Today, Monday, July 27, from 7 a.m. to 7 pm., McDonald's is giving out free samples of Iced or Hot McCafe Mochas.

You can get a 7 oz. hot or 8 oz. iced one, which is basically a small. That's enough to jump start your workweek.

Sunday, July 26, 2009

Case Closed

CVS is having another three-day school supply sale, which should probably come as a shock to no one at this point. I'm not complaining because there are actually a few new things this week -- things I'll use.

There's a deal right now [[ending 07/28]] where you can get either a pencil case or an index card case for 99 cents. The limit is two, and they're each giving back 99 cents. They're part of the same deal, though, so you can't get two pencil cases and two index card cases. It's two total.

The pencil case is good because of the free pencils we've been getting lately.

The index card case is great though because it's actually the exact same size as your CRTs and ecbs. So, if you're just getting started with CVS -- and no shame if you are; we're here to guide you -- this is the perfect way to keep your coupons all together when you go to CVS. Plus, there's actually a card slot in front so you can keep your CVS card.

The Supermarket Social Goes Suburban

Please help me welcome Jamie, from Suburban Saving Mama to Drugstore Divas' Supermarket Social. Jamie is going to be bringing the best Jewel-Osco deals to the Social. I know that's pretty exciting for a bunch of you because I've gotten tons of requests for more Jewel-Osco deals. Your requests have been answered thanks to Jamie.

Also pretty exciting: Suburban Saving Mama has a contest going on right now. You can enter to win the most adorable frog messenger bag. Definitely head over to her site and welcome her to the Social -- and then enter to win the bag while you're there. It's a win-win for everyone.

Don't forget, if you have a blog and you want to be a part of the Social -- or know a blogger who would love to be a part of it -- send me an email at drugstoredivalisa(at)gmail.com.

Potty Training Kit

Pampers wants to help make potty training as easy as possible. To help that along, they are offering a free sample of their Potty Training Kit.

Click here to request your free sample. It will arrive in four to six weeks.

The kit contains:
*A free sample of Easy Ups Trainers
*High-value coupons [[I think it is $5 worth of coupons]]
*Fun stickers & coloring pages
*Step-by-step potty training tips
*Potty Progress Chart
*Dora or Diego training trophy

Ice Cream For Blood

Friendly's is making a deal with you -- give them some blood, and they'll give you some ice cream.

Okay, it's not exactly like that.

But if you donate blood between now and August 31 -- and you live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and parts of New York and Pennsylvania -- and can prove you donated, Friendly's will mail you a coupon for a box of ice cream.

The small catches [[aside from geographic location]] are that you have to donate at American Red Cross blood drives between now and the end of August. You'll get the coupon at the time of your donation, and you’ll have until September 30 to use it. For more, check out this site.

Good Deal Alert -- Bubble Mailers

Walgreens has the Scotch Bubble Mailers on sale this week [[ending 08/01]]. They are 39 cents with a limit of 6. I was actually going to go to Wags today just for those. That is such a great deal and I seem to use lots of them.

Then I got my newspaper and there are $.50 off coupons!! This just became a good deal and a moneymaker. If you buy one you are making 11 cents. I am going to buy two and use one coupon so I will be paying $.28 for two.

Triump-antly Free

I didn't win a Bic Triumph pen. It wasn't for lack of trying, let me tell you.

But don't worry. I've got a plan to stock up on them anyway.

This week [[ending 08/01]] at CVS, the Triumph pens are on bogo sale. They're $3.99 originally, so now you're looking at $3.99 for two. Two means you can use two coupons. You're sticking with me, right?

If you go to our printable coupons, and use the zip 10954, you can print two coupons for $2 off a pack of the Bic pens. Use both those and, yup, two packs for free.

If you head over to this link, you'll be able to print out another two coupons. But, after all the free pens lately, you've gotta wonder if you need more.

Free Cereal

Betty Crocker wants you to enter in to win free cereal. Every month for the next 10 months, [[it started July 14 so each month runs til the 13th]] there will be 100 prizes of a coupon for free Cheerios.

Visit this Web site to enter. Rules are: You have to live in the US, be 18 years or older, and can only enter once a day until May 13, 2010. You can only win once a month.

Yeah this contest runs forever so you may see this post again as a friendly reminder.

Good Deal Alert -- Fuze Tea

I love Fuze drinks. Love love love the Slenderize kind. Not that I'm naïve enough to believe that they're making me slender [[and not that I need them too either]]. But I like the taste. And this week, I like the price.

At PathMark, A&P, and Stop & Shop this week [[ending 07/30]], Fuze drinks are on sale for $1 each. There were bogo tearpads in CVS recently, so now you're getting two drinks for a buck. It's not the best deal around [[free would be the best]], but it's a cheap diet plan if you're trusting the bottle.

Rescue Wildlife

I saw a commercial about Dawn donating $1 to "important wildlife conservation efforts of the Marine Mammal Center and the International Bird Rescue Research Center" for each bottle of dish detergent bought. But at the end of the commercial it said you had to activate your purchase for it to count towards the $500,000 donation limit. What?

I did a little searching and I uncovered the details and a sweepstakes for us! Win, win. Okay for the donation, buy a bottle of Dawn, visit this Web site and enter the numerical code on your bottle. You probably did not pay anywhere near a $1 for that bottle and you will have clean dishes and an even cleaner conscience knowing you helped save the earth with no effort.

If you are still with me [[and you better be]], you can enter the sweepstakes here. You are trying to win a "Grand Prize of $3,000 which can be used toward a trip to California to can meet animal rescuers at the International Bird Rescue Research Center or the Marine Mammal Center. Three Monthly First Prize Winners will each receive $1,000 which can be used toward an annual membership to their local zoo, a subscription to their favorite nature magazine and wildlife books and DVDs. Daily Prize Winners will each receive a coupon for a free bottle of Dawn Ultra."

The Highlight Of Wags

If you're looking for highlighters, Walgreens is the place to go. Bic highlighters are on sale for 49 cents this week [[ending 07/25]] at Walgreens.

Well, head over to our printable coupons, you can print out a coupon for $1/2 Bic products -- including highlighters. Yup, we've just scored you two packs for free.

Saturday Sample - Viva Paper Towels

This Saturday Sample could have been written by any of our loyal readers. See, we all got a free sample of Viva paper towels from Walmart. Mine came in the mail yesterday. I have seen these before and was always shocked at how expensive they are.

But I can see why now. Viva makes the thickest paper towels I have ever seen. The are soft but still durable. I scrubbed the stove with one and it didn't rip, tear, or flake apart. You know when you get all the little white bits that come off? Nothing here. It did the job and stayed in tact. I would say these are great paper towels for a heavy duty job.

As for value for your money, this doesn't cut it in my house. I will stick to my regular brand that is much cheaper and still gets the job done. That said, if you are willing to pay more or typically need a crazy strong paper towel, check out Viva.

Funny Name, Free Treat

If you're like me, you didn't hear about Schlotzsky's until just about now. The chain's tagline is, "Funny name, serious sandwich." Something like that. I closed the site down when I found out the closest one to me is 308 miles away in Newport News, Virginia -- where I believe Michael Vick stationed his dog fighting ring.

But, moving right along ...

Schlotzsky's [[lotz better, they say]] is giving away a free cinnabon and coffee today, Saturday, July 25, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Internet seems to believe this is a very good offering. But being a Schlotzsky virgin, I can't confirm.

One Hit Wonder

The last -- and arguably only -- time I remember Sixpence None The Richer being on the radio was a decade ago.

I remember liking this guy and driving around town and Kiss Me was always on the radio. I was a kid, living in the age of terrible fake IDs. I thought the song was a subliminal message to the guy.

It wasn't.

Apparently, since then, the band has actually made other songs, enough to put out a greatest hits album. On that disc is a song called Breathe Your Name, which you can get for free over here.

I downloaded it for nostalgic value, but I haven't listened to it. I also haven't gotten Kiss Me out of my head since I started this post.

Get Smooth

Want your hair to look and feel salon gorgeous at home? Of course, every woman does. And if you can get that for free it is an even better deal. So go visit your local Aveda store.

But make sure you print out this coupon first. You can redeem it for an Aveda free sample of Smooth Infusion shampoo, conditioner and style-prep smoother.

If you are not sure where the closest Aveda salon is, go to this site and enter your zip code.

Frugal In Virginia Is Social-izing

I hope you haven't gotten tired of welcoming yet because Dana from Frugal in Virginia is the latest addition to Drugstore Divas' Supermarket Social. Dana's going to be bringing a ton of stores to us -- Food Lion, Kroger, Harris Teeter, and Giant. Sure, she's in Virginia -- but that doesn't mean the deals won't translate over to everywhere. So be sure to check her out. And wish her a big welcome.

Don't forget, if you have a blog and you want to be a part of the Social -- or know a blogger who would love to be a part of it -- send me an email at drugstoredivalisa(at)gmail.com.

Flavored Sweeteners Free Samples

I don't drink coffee and I like real sugar. So why am I so excited over this free sample? I have no idea to be honest. I just think these are a great idea. Splenda is giving away a free sample of its no calorie sweetener.

You get to choose from Splenda with fiber [[for some reason, I'm not thinking this is the top choice]]. Or choose from flavors for coffee! Either Mocha or Hazelnut. Once you decide what one you want to try, click here and sign up.

Keep Your Poise

The more pantiliner deals there are out there, the less I have to say about them. Seriously.

So, let's just get into the meat of this post, shall we?

Poise makes pantiliners. CVS sells them. This week, some people are scanning their cards and getting a CRT for a free 10- to 14-pack of Poise liners.

Check your cards if you scan to see what you're getting.
