Weis Coupons in Paper
Once again there is a coupon for Weis in my local Sunday [[05/31]] newspapers. In both the Sunday Times Leader and Sunday Voice, there is a coupon for $10 off your purchase of $50. The coupon is only good until Wednesday, June 3rd.I did actually go to Weis today, but not for real shopping so I didn't use this yet. But there are signs all over the store to pick up the paper today for the coupon. Hope you can find this in your local papers too.

Good Deal Alert -- Crest Advanced Seal Whitestrips
Our great reader Jessica found us this good deal alert on Crest Advanced Seal Whitestrips. They're on sale at CVS for $34.99 [[which is $10 off the regular price]]. There was a $10 off coupon in the P&G inserts. Jessica said, Now that's $24.99, which is already great. But, as we all know, we all have ECB's, and who knows what'll print out on that kiosk. I've done better but this isn't too shabby! If you don't have the P&G coupon, you can print a $7 one on Crest's site. Thanks for the deal Jessica!

Fits Like Bio
I want a BioFit bra. They fit seven ways, which is like getting seven bras but only paying for one. Not that I need a bra that can be worn seven ways, but I don't care. I want it.Right now, you can get $10 off it -- or any bra -- from Victoria's Secret.
It's not as good as those freebies Vicky was giving us in the past, but it's actually not that bad if you combine it with the 20% off a $50 purchase code [[20OFF50]] online. The code is only good til today, the bra coupon is good through June 14.

We Want A Pitcher
Now that is a great headline.Okay, I'm done patting myself on the back. Onto the deal:
If you buy two Lipton Iced Tea mixes [[38 quart, at $5.99 each]] at ShopRite between now and June 6, you'll get a catalina coupon for a free one-gallon Rubbermaid pitcher.
Yup, now you get the headline.
The pitcher is a $3.49 value, which is cheaper to buy alone, but then you wouldn't have tea to make all summer.

Circuit City's Back
Back in January, when this was a young blog, we let you know that Circuit City was closing its doors. It was true.
At the time.
But yesterday I got a confusing -- yet entirely non-cryptic -- email: Circuit City told me it's Web site is back.
So, I guess the doors are still closed, but the Internet is open forever. But CircuitCity.com is up and running. It even has a twitter. You know who else does? Yup. Drugstore Divas. We caved and joined 2007. Come be our friend.

Good Deal Alert -- Chex Mix
I never had Chex Mix until I met Lisa. Now I am a huge fan. Walgreens has them three for $3. And the original and cheddar mixes are bonus bags that are 33% bigger. I tried the Honey Nut one for the first time and it was so good. While I didn't see any coupons for this one, at that price [[and how good they are]] it is a good deal.

Frosty With A Friend
Wendy's tries to get you to believe that the Frosty is like a parfait -- everybody likes parfaits. The truth, though, not everyone is too keen on a Frosty.
They're a very funny consistency, and I think that's what really turns me off. But that's not stopping me from passing on a deal.

Smile For The Birdie
I remember freshman year of high school, I had these friends who all went to the local portrait studio to get their picture taken together. I have no idea why, really. The next year, two of my friends had been dating for a few months and they did the same thing. They're still together, so it worked out for them, but the chance that the first group of friends doesn't talk anymore is 100%, so maybe those pics are collectors items or something. If you, for whatever reason, need professional photos, head over to Sears with this coupon. Between now and June 2, you can get a free 8x10 photo collage at the portrait studio.
Apparently that's a $29.99 photo. Seriously. There's also no sitting fee, which is $14.99 on its own.
At that price, what the hell. Round up a couple of your buddies, head over to Sears, and make a mockery of how much Sears usually charges for that photo. It might be worth it.

Free Ice Cream Day
As an American, I'm supposed to hate Walmart because it's unfair to its workers. But, as a couponer, I can't hate Walmart at all. It gives me a free music download every week, it has good frees after coupons, and today, May 30, it's giving out free ice cream. What's to hate?Today, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., Walmart's giving out a free 1.57 oz. Dibs Snack Bag; 2.4 oz. Blue Bunny Aspen Frozen Yogurt Granola Bar; and 4 oz. Ben & Jerry's Flipped Out cup.
It's all while supplies last so eat an early lunch and head over there. Or eat ice cream before lunch. You're an adult. You can have dessert first.

Not The NSync-er
I typed JC Penney into Google, kind of expecting to get some pictures of the NSync-er, except all I got was this guy, who may or may not be James Cash Penney, which is a funny name [[if only to me]].I tell you that story because, well, I have no other intro for this coupon. You can get $10 off a $25 purchase at JC Penney with this coupon between now and June 2. If you can't get to the store, just type 10GIFT online at checkout. Metal Head
I've never been into metal. I've gone to metal shows, but they're not my favorite. Reading Chuck Klosterman's New York Times story on Metallica is the closest I've gotten to liking metal. And I hate Metallica. I only really enjoyed it because Chuck Klosterman is a fantastic writer. But around Drugstore Divas, we post about everything. So when I heard Victory Metal was giving away a free download for Memorial Day, I couldn't not post about it.

Rewards From Kmart
Kmart is getting into the rewards arena. Well, not all Kmarts, just the ones in the metro areas of Atlanta, GA; Buffalo, NY; Grand Rapids, MI; Bakersfield, CA; and Louisville, KY. My brother goes to school in Buffalo, but if I can't even get him to go to CVS for the free energy shots he loves, I doubt I'm getting him to go to Kmart. But, hey, stranger things have happened.
So Kmart's Smart Rewards offers the following:
* Get 1% in rewards on qualifying purchases*If you're in the area, it's free to sign up online. You might as well try. Even though the FAQs say the program is only in the above areas, I signed up no problem even though I'm seven hours from the closest "participating" metro area. It gives you options of California; Georgia; Indiana; Kentucky; Michigan; New York; Pennsylvania; and South Carolina to register with. So, it's worth it to try to sign up, if only for those hassle-free returns.
* Take part in Kmart K'Ching Surprises, a chance to win prizes at checkout
* Receive 10% in rewards on Cosmetics, Skin Care and Sun Care products*
* Get bonus rewards on your favorite products and brands customized to

I Need A Different Address
I live in New York, which is pretty much one of the coolest states to say you live in. People in Kansas might argue, but they don't have the Internet. They just have the Kansas Rectangle. One of the only downsides I can see right now about living in New York is I can't get a free Molson Canadian t-shirt. I don't want it for me, but for my brother.
If you send a 3x5 card with and your name, address, daytime phone number, and birth date to Molson t-shirt request, PO Box 6171, Clear Lake, MN 55319 by Halloween 2009, you'll get a free XL t-shirt [[big enough to hide the beer gut]].
You have to live in Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, or West Virginia, all of which I do not. If Utah gets it, shouldn't everyone?

Have A Fling
Today is my friend and our loyal reader Cathy's birthday. I won't tell you how old she is, but I've known her for two decades, so she's at least twenty. We'll leave it at that.In order to celebrate her day, here's a freebie that's only good in three states, one of which she lives in. If you live in Cali, Oregon, or Washington, you can get a free Fling bar here.
The company's tagline is "naughty ... but not that naughty," and on the bar itself it reads, "chocolate with no strings attached," which I just kinda think is great.
A Fling bar is a truffle, on a crisp layer, covered in chocolate, and only 85 calories. It kinda looks like a caramel-less Twix bar. It also looks delicious. So, if anyone from Fling is reading this and wants to send me a case for a Saturday Sample, well, drugstoredivalisa(at)gmail.com is my email address.

Coupon-ganic Valley
I've been asked time and time again, "How do I save money without buying a kitchen full of processed foods?" It's true, the things that are always on sale fall into the "processed" category. Mallory could live off of Pop Tarts ... but that's just because she's taught her body to digest the quick breakfast. But, for those of you trying the organic route, Organic Valley is looking out for you. Head over to its site and you can print $8 worth of coupons for items like cheese, butter, eggs, soy milk, ya know, all the staples. And then whipping cream. I've used whipping cream once in my entire life. And it was to make filling for cupcakes. But maybe organic eaters use it as creamer because I don't think Coffee-Mate has an organic line.

Light Work Out
I just spent the last few minutes chasing an orange around with a green hoop. Lame, I know, right? But Orange Julius told me if I did so, I'd be entered to win $500, and, well, for a chance at that, it wasn't so bad.I don't think it's an automatic win, so I don't even know if I lost [[but then again, I was chasing around an orange with a sweatband. I lost]].
I did, however, find a $1 coupon on the smoothie shop's site, so there's a plus there. It's a buck off a 20 oz. light smoothie. It doesn't expire until Halloween, which means maybe I'll find $500 in my Halloween basket. Okay, I don't really think so either.
Raincheck Reminder
No good deal alerts or great stuff to go check out in this post. This is a reminder to everyone out there to get a raincheck if your stores do not have the item you wanted. I feel hypocritical since I never ever remember to get a raincheck. My sister [[who won't even cut coupons]] had to remind me the other day to get one. So, I am trying. Yesterday [[05/25]] was the last day for the Clearasil sale at CVS. I went to three different stores and none of them had it. I am so proud of myself that I remembered to get a raincheck! I get kinda nervous asking for them so I need to work on that. The item was free after the extra bucks, so my store wrote exactly that on my raincheck.
Sometimes rainchecks even work out better. If you have to wait a couple weeks, a new coupon might come out, or if stores offer the item with new extra bucks, a single check rebate, you get the idea. But the best thing about rainchecks, you get the item you wanted for the price you wanted, even though the store was out of stock. My friendly tip for the day.
[[Lisa's slight addition: Aside from the fact that rainchecks are great for all those reasons, the ones at CVS never expire. It says so on the back. A little reminder: If you get a raincheck for an item with ecb from CVS, cut out that section of the weekly ad and staple it to your raincheck. That way, when the cashier is manually printing your ecb, he or she will have the code needed to force the ecb. It saves everyone a headache.]]

There's been a Memorial Day Weekend sale at Gap all weekend, but I haven't really quite been able to use the word "sale." The chain was trying to convince me that $32.99 was the sale price for a ruffled tank top.I don't think so.
But, for sake of our readers who don't mind overpaying, Gap Body [[which doesn't have a Web site]] is having a sale on cotton panties with a lace trim. They're on "sale" for $5 through today, May 25.

Dirty Water Dogs
If you have a bucket list, you should add "Having a hot dog from a cart in New York City" to it. There's something about that that's kind of magical -- slightly disgusting when you think about the dirty water that the dogs have been sitting in all day, but some say dirty water dogs are the best.Hebrew National wants you to think its dogs are the best.
Today, May 25, beginning at 11 a.m., head over to Times Square in New York City for the Hebrew National Showdown. According to the site:
This Showdown is in response to taste-test claims made by another leading hot dog brand. Hebrew National is hosting this Memorial Day Hot Dog Showdown, giving away more than 45,000 hot dogs and 30,000 coupons. Hebrew National will be in Times Square at the corner of 45th Street and Broadway beginning at 11 a.m., so come down if you can, join in the fun, and help decide who gets the title of America's Top Dog.In case you're wondering, and I'm sure you are, Hebrew National's parent company, Sara Lee, is suing Oscar Mayer's parent company, Kraft, because Kraft claimed Oscar Mayer is better.
From a coupon standpoint, I have to agree that, yup, Oscar Mayer is better. On Wednesday, Oscar Mayer was giving out coupons for a free pack of hot dogs. Hebrew National is only giving out $1 off a pack printables. You now know were my loyalty lies.

Revlon is on sale for $3.99 and giving back $3 in ecb. There's a $1/1 coupon out there, making this a one cent money maker.
There are so many to choose from. I didn't scan the double packs this time, but usually, those count during CVS' sales, so you might wanna try one of those to see.

Acne Free
This week, he's gonna get some Clearasil Daily Face Wash because it's part of CVS' two-day sale on Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25. It's on sale for $3.99 and giving back $3.99 in ecb. There's also a coupon out there, making it a $1 moneymaker.
So, now, even if my brother doesn't use this one, well, I'm not out any money.

Bunny Hop
So I will celebrate Memorial Day with some ice cream. And thanks to Blue Bunny, it'll be free ice cream.
Blue Bunny wants you to try an Aspen or Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola variety so badly, there's a rebate form for it. The only minor catch is that you must purchase it on May 23, 24 or 25. The rebate doesn't have to be postmarked until June 10 though.
If you head over to Blue Bunny's site, there's a printable coupon for $1 off some ice cream sandwiches, but I'm pretty certain those aren't for the ones with the rebate. But take the coupon to the store anyway, just in case I'm wrong.

Better Than Mom's Kisses
If you've got kiddies at home -- or if you're just accident prone and like cartoons -- CVS has Band Aids for $2.99 with $2 back as part of its two-day sale on Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25. There are a couple $1/1 coupons out there, so that makes these a penny money maker.
You can get Flexible Fabric or Comfort-Flex ones for free too, but if you have a stockpile of regular ones, go for the cute styles.

Feel Your Boobies
The headline sounds incredibly inappropriate, but it's not.Feel Your Boobies is a non-profit organization that supports [[no pun intended]] breast cancer awareness. You can help the cause out by heading over to the site and signing up for a free car magnet. And, even though we all love free, it's also great to donate -- and FYB lets you do that too.
You can pledge $1 for your car magnet -- which will help the site get the word out to a hundred people. For $5, you'll get a second magnet. A donation of $10 will get you two additional magnets. And if you'd like six magnets total, you can give $25. If you can't donate right now -- which is totally understandable -- you can still get your magnet free of charge.

Vicky's Semi Annual
The plan's never failed me before.
But, if you're a little anxious, you can buy new panties to get in a bunch.
Right now, Vicky's is offering certain panties at 10 for $25. That's only $2.50 each for items that were originally $7.50. This deal's good in store or enter the code 10FOR25 online between now and May 25. You can buy a single pair for $3.99, but seriously, at that price, you're crazy. The ones on the 10 for $25 sale are all solid colors, but really, if no one's getting in your pants, no one's seeing anyway. And if someone is seeing, well, wait a few weeks and I'll tell you when to shop.
