Burt’s Bees is celebrating its 25th anniversary and wants to give out free lip balm. Burt is giving away 1,000 lip balms out A DAY for 25 days [[til 6/20]] BUT, of course, there is a catch too it. The company will post it on its Web site anytime each morning between 9 a.m. and noon EST ... and not the same time everyday. I guess Burt's Bees is doing it that way to be fair.

Weis Coupons in Paper

Once again there is a coupon for Weis in my local Sunday [[05/31]] newspapers. In both the Sunday Times Leader and Sunday Voice, there is a coupon for $10 off your purchase of $50. The coupon is only good until Wednesday, June 3rd.

I did actually go to Weis today, but not for real shopping so I didn't use this yet. But there are signs all over the store to pick up the paper today for the coupon. Hope you can find this in your local papers too.

I never had Chex Mix until I met Lisa. Now I am a huge fan. Walgreens has them three for $3. And the original and cheddar mixes are bonus bags that are 33% bigger.

I tried the Honey Nut one for the first time and it was so good. While I didn't see any coupons for this one, at that price [[and how good they are]] it is a good deal.

Good Deal Alert -- Wise Chips

Wise Chips, the official chips of the New York Mets, are on sale this week at ShopRite for $1.49. If you head over to Wise's site, you can print two coupons for $.50 off. After ShopRite doubles, you'll be paying 49 cents a bag. Guess what I'm taking with me to the Mets game today.

Frosty With A Friend

Wendy's tries to get you to believe that the Frosty is like a parfait -- everybody likes parfaits.

The truth, though, not everyone is too keen on a Frosty.

They're a very funny consistency, and I think that's what really turns me off. But that's not stopping me from passing on a deal.

I remember freshman year of high school, I had these friends who all went to the local portrait studio to get their picture taken together. I have no idea why, really. They're still together, so it worked out for them, but the chance that the first group of friends doesn't talk anymore is 100%, so maybe those pics are collectors items or something.

As an American, I'm supposed to hate Walmart because it's unfair to its workers. But, as a couponer, I can't hate Walmart at all. It gives me a free music download every week, it has good frees after coupons, and today, May 30, it's giving out free ice cream. What's to hate?

Today, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., Walmart's giving out a free 1.57 oz. Dibs Snack Bag; 2.4 oz. Blue Bunny Aspen Frozen Yogurt Granola Bar; and 4 oz. Ben & Jerry's Flipped Out cup.

We told you about a good body wash deal yesterday, but it might not have been good for you. I mean, if you're a bar soap kind of person, the Olay deal wasn't for you.

Metal Head

I've never been into metal. I've gone to metal shows, but they're not my favorite. Reading Chuck Klosterman's New York Times story on Metallica is the closest I've gotten to liking metal. And I hate Metallica. I only really enjoyed it because Chuck Klosterman is a fantastic writer.

But around Drugstore Divas, we post about everything. So when I heard Victory Metal was giving away a free download for Memorial Day, I couldn't not post about it.

I didn't download it though, so I have no idea if it's worth downloading. But it's free. So it's definitely worth what you'll pay.

Kmart is getting into the rewards arena. Well, not all Kmarts, just the ones in the metro areas of Atlanta, GA; Buffalo, NY; Grand Rapids, MI; Bakersfield, CA; and Louisville, KY. My brother goes to school in Buffalo, but if I can't even get him to go to CVS for the free energy shots he loves, I doubt I'm getting him to go to Kmart.

But, hey, stranger things have happened.

So, it's worth it to try to sign up, if only for those hassle-free returns.

I Need A Different Address

I live in New York, which is pretty much one of the coolest states to say you live in. People in Kansas might argue, but they don't have the Internet. They just have the Kansas Rectangle.

One of the only downsides I can see right now about living in New York is I can't get a free Molson Canadian t-shirt. I don't want it for me, but for my brother.

I don't know who the San Antonio Coffee Roasters are or how I got on their mailing list, but there are so many more important things in life to ponder.

Taster's Choice really wants you to try its coffee. It claims to have six very delicious flavors you can savor. I don't know what those flavors actually are though. They will send you all six of their sample sticks if you click here. And if you visit the Web site they have printable coupons for your next purchase.

One sample pack per person but limit of two sample packs for household. That's twelve free cups of coffee for my husband. Me, I don't actually drink coffee so I won't be using this as a Saturday Sample. But maybe I can get him to review it for us.

Ribbons For Washing

CVS has been giving out CRTs [[coupons that print on the end of your receipt]] for body wash. There have been either $1/1 or $2/2 coupons printing for the lucky ones.

If you've gotten one -- and still have yet to use it -- you can put it to good use this week.

Olay products, including Ribbons body wash, is on sale for $6 for an 18 oz. Buy two for $12, and you'll get back $5 in ecb. There were $1/1 coupons in a recent P&G [[check our coupon database for which issue]], so two of those makes it $10. Then use the $2/2 CRT if you have it, and it's down to $8. Get back $5 in ecb, and that makes it $1.50 a bottle. It's not free, but I know Beth loves this stuff, so I'm pretty sure she'll tell you the buck fifty is worth it.

Coupon-ganic Valley

I've been asked time and time again, "How do I save money without buying a kitchen full of processed foods?" It's true, the things that are always on sale fall into the "processed" category. Mallory could live off of Pop Tarts ... but that's just because she's taught her body to digest the quick breakfast.

But, for those of you trying the organic route, Organic Valley is looking out for you. Head over to its site and you can print $8 worth of coupons for items like cheese, butter, eggs, soy milk, ya know, all the staples. And then whipping cream. I've used whipping cream once in my entire life. And it was to make filling for cupcakes. But maybe organic eaters use it as creamer because I don't think Coffee-Mate has an organic line.

Light Work Out

I just spent the last few minutes chasing an orange around with a green hoop. Lame, I know, right? But Orange Julius told me if I did so, I'd be entered to win $500, and, well, for a chance at that, it wasn't so bad.

I don't think it's an automatic win, so I don't even know if I lost [[but then again, I was chasing around an orange with a sweatband. I lost]].

I did, however, find a $1 coupon on the smoothie shop's site, so there's a plus there. It's a buck off a 20 oz. light smoothie. It doesn't expire until Halloween, which means maybe I'll find $500 in my Halloween basket. Okay, I don't really think so either.

Raincheck Reminder

No good deal alerts or great stuff to go check out in this post. This is a reminder to everyone out there to get a raincheck if your stores do not have the item you wanted. I feel hypocritical since I never ever remember to get a raincheck. My sister [[who won't even cut coupons]] had to remind me the other day to get one.

So, I am trying. Yesterday [[05/25]] was the last day for the Clearasil sale at CVS. I went to three different stores and none of them had it. I am so proud of myself that I remembered to get a raincheck! I get kinda nervous asking for them so I need to work on that. The item was free after the extra bucks, so my store wrote exactly that on my raincheck.

Sometimes rainchecks even work out better. If you have to wait a couple weeks, a new coupon might come out, or if stores offer the item with new extra bucks, a single check rebate, you get the idea. But the best thing about rainchecks, you get the item you wanted for the price you wanted, even though the store was out of stock. My friendly tip for the day.

[[Lisa's slight addition: Aside from the fact that rainchecks are great for all those reasons, the ones at CVS never expire. It says so on the back. A little reminder: If you get a raincheck for an item with ecb from CVS, cut out that section of the weekly ad and staple it to your raincheck. That way, when the cashier is manually printing your ecb, he or she will have the code needed to force the ecb. It saves everyone a headache.]]

Calling Brunettes

Sorry to the blondes and redheads, but blame John Frieda not me. If you want to try John Frieda Brilliant Brunette, now is your chance to get a free sample.

Rite Aid has lots of Maybelline nail polish, lip stuff, and other make up items on clearance. I picked up three nail polishes, originally $4.59, marked down 75% to $1.14. Total was $3.42. But of course there are $1 off one tearpad coupons. I even found some at the Rite Aid Store. That made my total out of pocket just $.42 [[plus tax]].

Here is the moneymaking part! I am so excited over this deal. There is a Single Check Rebate this month for $5 back when you buy three Maybelline products. So yep, they are giving me $4.58 and the three nail polishes. Great deal!

Coke Habit

A&P is offering such a great deal, I'm not sure how long the store will be in business. I mean, if the grocery store is still standing a the end of the week, I'll be shocked.

Okay, this deal isn't that much of a steal, but it's sure close enough.

With the coupon on the front of the ad from this week [[05/22 to 05/28]], you can get five 12-packs for $10. So $2 a pack. Not bad, but it gets better. If you redeem a handful of Coke points [[I'm not sure how many since the lovely Wynette gifted me with some great coupons]], you can get a $1 off printable.

So, use five printables, and now you're getting a 12-pack for a dollar. Seriously. How great is that? It's less than what a 20 oz. costs. Like I said, A&P might be going under after this deal.

Free Sippy Cups

Juicy Juice is giving away a free sippy cup if you just register to be a member of its site. Then you get the choice of a free sippy cup or some pamphlet about children's development. You can tell what one I picked right?

There's been a Memorial Day Weekend sale at Gap all weekend, but I haven't really quite been able to use the word "sale." The chain was trying to convince me that $32.99 was the sale price for a ruffled tank top.

I don't think so.

But, for sake of our readers who don't mind overpaying, Gap Body [[which doesn't have a Web site]] is having a sale on cotton panties with a lace trim. They're on "sale" for $5 through today, May 25.

You can get two panties at Vicky's this week for that price, but you do with your hard-earned money as you please.

No Headline Here

I have no idea how to write a headline about tampons. Sometimes you can use the product name -- but Gentle Glide and Sport just don't see right. Sometimes you can add a pun to what the product does, but that doesn't sound appropriate. So, there's no headline. And I think that's a lot better than anything I came up with [[I mean, the most family-friendly one was "Stop Aunt Flo" and that's really bad]].

So, moving right along, CVS has Playtex Gentle Glide or Sport tampons on sale for $3.99 and giving back $3 in ecb during its two-day sale on Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25. There's a coupon out there for $1, making this a penny money maker.

Dirty Water Dogs

If you have a bucket list, you should add "Having a hot dog from a cart in New York City" to it. There's something about that that's kind of magical -- slightly disgusting when you think about the dirty water that the dogs have been sitting in all day, but some say dirty water dogs are the best.

Hebrew National wants you to think its dogs are the best.

From a coupon standpoint, I have to agree that, yup, Oscar Mayer is better. On Wednesday, Oscar Mayer was giving out coupons for a free pack of hot dogs. Hebrew National is only giving out $1 off a pack printables. You now know were my loyalty lies.

CVS' two-day sale is coming to an end, which means so are our posts about the sale. But, to wrap it up, we've got a deal on Revlon nail polish for you.

Revlon is on sale for $3.99 and giving back $3 in ecb. There's a $1/1 coupon out there, making this a one cent money maker.

There are so many to choose from. I didn't scan the double packs this time, but usually, those count during CVS' sales, so you might wanna try one of those to see.

My brother has me on constant acne wash watch. If there's any for free, I'm supposed to pick it up for him. That's how he once ended up with some type of acne tinted stuff. Bunny Hop

I never need a reason to eat ice cream. I mean, I'm not one of those ladies who is always on a diet. No way. If I want to eat something, I will. One day I'm gonna die, and I don't wanna be thinking, "If I knew this day was coming, I would have had that piece of cheesecake."

So I will celebrate Memorial Day with some ice cream. And thanks to Blue Bunny, it'll be free ice cream.

You can get Flexible Fabric or Comfort-Flex ones for free too, but if you have a stockpile of regular ones, go for the cute styles.

Feel Your Boobies

The headline sounds incredibly inappropriate, but it's not.

Feel Your Boobies is a non-profit organization that supports [[no pun intended]] breast cancer awareness. You can help the cause out by heading over to the site and signing up for a free car magnet. And, even though we all love free, it's also great to donate -- and FYB lets you do that too.
